Are there any training seminars included with a creative cloud subscription?

Hello,
I am looking for training with the creative cloud. Are there any seminars that go along with my subscription? I'm not talking about simple training videos - I need full training for my employees. Perhaps an online seminar?
Thanks!

  • Are there planned price increases for renewal of creative cloud subscription

My renewal for creative cloud is pending. Are there price increases planned for creative cloud single app renewal?

I should have wrote, "I am better off, purchasing the Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium at $1899.00 and upgrading every 2 years at a cost of $375."
    So....
    Let's do some basic arithmatic
    CC Suite is $49.99 x 12 = $599.98 per year || $1199.76 / 2 years || $1799.74 / 3 years || $2399.72 / 4 years || $2999.70 / 5 years || $3599.68
When you compare to purchasing the Creative Suite 6 Design & Web Premium at $1899.00 and then upgrading every 2 years at a cost of $375, it only takes 4.5 years before the CC subscription begins to surpass the 'owning' the product license model. Of course, the Adobe finance people know this very well and that is why the subscription model is absolutely adored!
My graph clearly illustrates this... hopefully I don't annoy the Adobe people with this... not my intention.
I am rounding values and not taking into account regional price differences nor am I accounting for price increases.
I should add that at a subscription rate of $29.99 per month, Adobe still stands to make significantly more money, over the long term... but the mid-point is just over 9 years, rather than 4.5 years and that is a more palatable proposition... I am guessing... for most of us.
    Adobe, don't be greedy!

  • How many 'seats' are included with Adobe Creative Cloud for teams?

How many 'seats' are included with Adobe Creative Cloud for teams?

    Hi Mrfrodo,
There isn't a set number, you purchase the number you would need based on the size of your organization.
This section of the FAQ might also be helpful for you to learn more about team too.

  • Is Adobe Bridge included in my Creative Cloud Subscription. I have the Photoshop and Lightroom subscription for Mac

Is Adobe Bridge included in my Creative Cloud Subscription. I have the Photoshop and Lightroom subscription for Mac

Addendum: I can find this on Adobe's Acrobat DC FAQ page:
Can I get Document Cloud services if I’m an active Creative Cloud Member?
Yes. Many Creative Cloud plans include Acrobat Pro DC with Document Cloud services. Explore Creative Cloud plans.
However, if I follow the link to Creative Cloud plans, there is nothing to tell me whether Acrobat Proc DC is included in any of the plans. My plan is a yearly individual at $49.99/month.

  • Are there any new 17 " MBPs with matte display out which run properly?

    Hallo,
I am about to buy one 17 MBP with matte display. But now I ve read all these posts and
I hesitate to order one. I don't want to have all the trouble to send it back and then wait
again. So, are there any guys who can not report these graphic issues?
    Yours
    Matthias

CD = Core Duo, the 1st generation of 17" MBP from way back in 2006. It was flawless when I got it. It's still running perfectly 3 years later. Only issue was a bad battery, and that was a known manufacturing problem at Sony that affected Macs as well as PC laptops. Apple extended the warranty to cover the issue, and replaced mine for free ~3 months after my one-year warranty expired. Two colleagues have the new 17" unibody MBP, one with glossy and one with matte, both are flawless.

  • Are there any Lenovo X220 owners with IPS that don't notice ghosting?

I need to pull the trigger soon and have been watching all the posts about fan noise, throttling and IPS ghosting.
Are there any users with an IPS screen who do not notice, or are not bothered by, ghosting on their IPS screen?
I would prefer IPS for the better viewing angles and color reproduction.

As far as I can tell, the two units I got all exhibit ghosting if I just let the screen idle for too long (assuming idle at max brightness for more than 15 minutes), I think it's an issue that will be addressed by Lenovo later and for the time being, it doesn't hinder productivity unless your use of the company requires the image to stay stationary for an extended period of time.

    Oh! Interesting.
So, looks like the only difference is that the older version
    includes
Freehand, while the new Adobe version skips freehand, and
    instead gives us
    Contribute and Flashpaper.
I have no use for contribute or Flashpaper, so it looks like
    the older
version is the way to go. Alas, I can't say I've ever heard
    of any of those
companies that are selling the old softare. Anyone ever use
    any of them?
    Reputable?
(UPDATE: just read some of the reviews on that site...don't
    think I'll be
trusting those vendors. Oh well, guess I'll have to buy
    Freehand separately
    from Adobe.)

  • Are there any Language Translators Libraries with Java API

I have a single xml document that contains all the text displayed in my application. I now want to translate the text into other languages and I thought I could do it my using the SAX to parse the individual elements, translate the text and then write out the resulting file. Are there any open source/java libraries that can translate text into other languages.
For now I am just interested in the most popular European languages, French,Spanish,German and Italian

I hear what you are saying, but if it could just make start that would be great. I have a program that I have been very careful to ensure all text is localized but I dont have the time/expertise to translate it myself or the funds to get it done professionally. I also have my help manual in docbook xml format so would like to translate that as well.
I thought AltaVistas BabelFish might have a Java API but have been unable to find one.
Also even if the translation was to be done by humans it is very difficult for a translater to edit the file in xml format,so I think I still need a process to extract the text from the file, allow it to be translated, and then read it back in.

  • Missing Premiere CS6 presets with a Creative Cloud subscription

    Hi there,
I've got this problem of missing presets/codecs with my Premiere CS6 installation. I've read many of the other threads about this problem but I still can't fix it on mine.
I have CS6 (6.0.0) installed and activated with my Creative Cloud log-in details. I tried updating it online to 6.0.2 but they still don't appear. I've uninstalled and re-installed and still nothing. I tried deactivating but it says "Deactivation was not successful. Please Try Again."
Is there any way to fix this?? I'm in Africa with a very slow internet connection so I can't download a new CS6 installer. Any ideas most appreciated as my CC subscription was a complete waste if I can't fix it.
    Thanks

Adobe has different installers for different media.  For example, there is one installer for Encore and Premiere Pro functional content that was purchased through CC or on disc, and another installer for Electronic Software Download purchases.  If you have the installer for ESD and you're trying to use CC credentials, you may be out of luck unless and until you download the correct installer.
Tech Support should have been able to tell you whether or not you have the proper installer for your license.

  • How much storage space is supposed to come with a creative cloud subscription?

I am still seeing only 2 GB of storage space available to me, even though I upgraded from a trial subscription to the Photography (Photoshop/Lightroom) Creative Cloud subscription. Is this correct or should I be seeing 20 GB? If the latter, any tips on how to correct?

  • Are there any plans to include ColdFusion Builder in Adobe Creative Cloud?

Everything and the kitchen sink is in Creative Cloud. I hoped Flash Builder Premium included with Creative Cloud would come with it (like it does at retail), but it does not.

    Hi Dilw33d,
I haven't heard of plans for this. I think the products included with Creative Cloud currently are more geared towards creative professionals versus developers (similar to Master Collection). But we could create a feature request for this, just so our developers know customers are interested.
I created an idea thread requesting this on your behalf here:

Please add your vote and any comments you would like to see included.

  • Are there any refurbished i5 airs with 8gb ram?

When looking at the refurbished macbook airs, I noticed that there are only either the base models with standard i5, 4gb of ram or a few i7 with 8gb.
I wonder why apple isn't selling any refurbished base i5 models with an upgraded 8bg ram.

Apple makes the platinum level of refurbished products in the industry, they are not simply MacBook Airs that get a nice polish. Because of that, they are popular. It's a matter of supply of refurbish-able Macs and how fast they sell. You really have to check the website frequently to get what you want, and jump on it fast, especially anything popular.
The problem with the i5 plus 8GB is that it was a configured option, which means it's rare. They may not get one that can be refurbished to Apple's standards.
