I started to update to Firefox 5.0 and noticed a message that the version of 1Password that I had at the time would not work with Firefox 5.0.
Are there problems with Firefox 5.0 and 1Password 3.6.1?
They say that one needs 1Password 3.6.0 or newer to work with Firefox 5.0

Are there problems with the 5g nano and previous games?
I just got the 5g nano to replace my video and i bought two 99 cent games because well, they were only .99. Chinese Checkers and Reversi. When i play the game, the screen keeps shifting. Before you say you are rotating it and the accelerometer is detecting it, this happens when it is laying flat on the table without me touching it. I'll make my move, and then the other people will go, and then it will point to my item that i want to move, only its not in the position its pointing at. If the board were flipped it would be correct. Kinda hard to explain, but if it happens to you, you will understand.
What are the system requirements of the games you purchased? Game compatible with 5th gen nano?

The best method is to use Windows Easy Transfer first to backup all your data, and do custom clean install. And install all your apps and drivers afterwards.
Yes it should work. Make sure you are ready, and have all the latest drivers and applications ahead of time.
There are some "gottchas" with the upgrade from Vista. -
3 Problems with Firefox: PDFs, Downloads, and Drop Menus
Three problems.
1) When I open a PDF in Firefox, where ever the cursor is becomes a kind of anchor from which the PDF file is highlighted. There is no way to deselect this (its like when you click-hold to select text), and it also renders all interface options with Firefox ineffective, requiring a CTRL-ALT-DEL to close Firefox and regain functionality.
2) When downloading a file, the sub widow asking if you wish to save file or cancel appears, clicking save file greys out that option, and the sub window freezes on top of all other windows. Firefox, however, remains operational. The download never actually starts.
3) Once a drop down menu has been opened, one can usually find the option they desire and click on it. But I cant, when I try to click on an option in a drop menu, it closes the menu and clicks whatever was behind the menu at the point where I clicked.
More Info: I am running Firefox 8 (I had this problem with 7 as well) on two different laptops. One laptop encounters NONE of these problems, the other does. The one that does have these problems is an ASUS U56E-BBL6 running Windows 7, my other is a Sony VAIO also running 7. Additionally, my roommate also has a ASUS, and he uses Firefox just fine.
Since encountering this problem on the ASUS, I have used IE (which I hate), Chrome and Opera. All three other browsers work perfectly and encounter none of these issues, but I miss the customization of Firefox.
Please help.I can't help you much with BlackBerry link, but if you want to get your files on device memory right now then you can either copy to SD card and move them with file manager. Or..... enable wifi access on the phone if you have wireless, that way you can access both device and SD Memory as shared folders on the network.

Incontext editing problem with firefox 3.6 and safari
when i try to login to a page with ctrl + e the following message comes up:
"You have Adobe Flash Player version 10,0,2 installed.

but i have the latest version ...
in safari i always had that problem, in firefox it worked, but not after i updated to 3.6
it still works with chrome, but anyway ...

thanks!I'm finding that Muse doesn't work well in older browsers, since it uses technology they don't understand. I think if we design sites in Muse, we're assuming that viewers are using newer browsers.

What are the problems with Photoshop Elements 10 and iPhoto in Mountain Lion?
I have Adobe Photoshop Elements 10 and would like to install it on my new iMac with Mountain Lion. I have read about compatibilty issues with iPhoto. Is there a way to correct this or is PSE 11 a better option?

Are there problems with the iPod suffle blowing headphones?
I recently purchased an iPod shuffle. After about 2 weeks the headphones went out on me. Thinking I just got a defective pair, I purchased a new set. Not two weeks after purchasing those, this set went out as well.
I don't blast my music, and both times it was the right ear bud that went out.
Thus, does anyone know if there is something defective with the iPod shuffles that cause the right ear buds to blow?
I have tried plugging the headphones into my laptop and yes, it is blown. I was thinking that after the second set of headphones went out, that maybe it was the shuffle itself, but it's not.
Any thoughts will be appreciated.

When I log onto the internet I am now using Google as my home page but my problem still exists. When I go to get a new site I get a message that Firefox is not responding. Then it clears up and I click on something else and it does the same thing. I have even done a complete virus and malware check on my computer. What can I do to correct this?

Certificate problem with Firefox 4.01 and Windows 7 (Win XP is working fine)
When I try to connect to an https page with a valid certificate, Firefox 4 shows me "sec_error_bad_signature" error message... but only in Windows 7 OS. If I try the same in a Windows XP it works correctly. Any suggestions?
You may have an expired VeriSign (VeriSign, Inc.) certificate.
You can check that in the Certificate Manager.
*Tools > Options > Advanced : Encryption: Certificates - View Certificates
Stored intermediate certificates show as "Software Security Device" in the "Security Device" column in the Certificate Manager. -

The box and button lines are not displayed or are mis-sized, if they appear at all; problem varies with the website and page style.
The threads I found in discussions mentioned a couple pages that are no longer active/cannot be opened -- so these solutions don't work.
When starting version 5x and 6beta I get information certain add-ons are STILL incompatible with these versions?

I have not been able to get rid of this problem. I have tried creating a new profile, restarting firefox in safe mode. disabling extensions 1 by 1. When I built this computer I did a clean install of firefox 5.0.1, and 2 weeks later with no extensions the problems came back. At that point I had the Java and flash plugins only.
When firefox 6 was released I did another fresh install (uninstalled firefox, went through my hard disc and deleted any reference to firefox and mozilla. Did the same in the registry, then run a registry cleaner and restarted the computer) before I installed firefox 6 and the problem was happening in less than a week. The I said to hell with it and re-created my entire profile from scratch and installed all my old extensions (updated them off course). 2 weeks ago it got really sever and I couldn't see any buttons on the chome interface and all web pages I visited were displaying really messed up. The only way i can describe it is kinda like greentech70 screenshots but on every inch of the application window. Like a really bad screen tearing effect.
The only thing that seem to help is when I downgraded to firefox 3.6.18. That fixed it but like greentech70 I have security and privacy concerns, so upgraded to firefox 6 again as the issue went away for 1 day, then came back but not as severe. since then I have been downgrading to firefox 3.6.18 re-installing java and flash, then upgrading back to firefox 6. It keeps the problem minimised but im still plagued by it. I also wonder if its a problem with firefox's 6 graphical engine. -
I'm not sure exactly when it happened, but one day my Google search bar turned blue when I tried typing in it. I couldn't see what I was typing. I did some research and some forums said it was a problem with Firefox. Have you heard of this? Is there a solution for it?
Thank you for your help.For me, the google search bar turns blue once I've typed in a search term, but then want to click on it again to change or add something. The entire bar turns blue. I can still type, but it's hidden. Then when I click Search, it does bring up my search results and now the terms I've written are showing in the search bar, with no blue.
The only way to get out of it when the blue is there, is to reload the page. -
The school says that it is a problem with firefox version 7, I can not begin to express how difficult it makes for me to submit my work. I hope you get it fixed soon so that we all at Kaplan can submit our homework.
thanksThis is the second time I have been unable to open Firefox after an update. On both occassions nothing is displayed (no splash screen, nor errors). A firefox.exe task is then shown in Task Manager.

Mozilla Firefox has worked fine for several years. Beginning two days ago I would click on the desktop icon, I would see the little whirling circle for about 1 second and then nothing would happen. Later when I shut down the computer, suddenly I would see the mozilla firefox page come up for an instant and then shut down. The computer was telling me that it was open, but I couldn't see the home page or use it. Then I decided to try uninstalling it and reinstalling. The uninstall went fine. But after downloading the latest version, which my antivirus program told me was safe, the computer refused to install the executable program, telling me it was corrupt. I have already lost all my bookmarks, etc. It looks like my only solution is to use another browser. However I really prefer Mozilla. Any suggestions?
Do a clean (re)install and delete the Firefox program folder (C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\).
Download a fresh Firefox copy and save the file to the desktop.

*Do NOT remove personal data when you uninstall the current version or you lose your bookmarks and other data because all profile folders will be removed.

Whatsnew page for 3.6.17 has formatting problems with Firefox and I.E.
I just updated from 3.6.16 to 3.6.17n and the whatsnew page, displayed after Firefox restarted, has formatting problems in the lower right hand corner.
I checked it with I.E. 8 and it also shows the formatting problem.
Why wasn't this caught before the page was put into "production"?
