Are there reliable apps for tracking Photoshop job time?

I am a pro retoucher and often juggle multiple jobs for various clients at any time. I typically create or edit an image, submit for approval & await feedback. I often charge by the hour. Looking for a plugin or app that could track the time I spend working on individual files. I am wary of all but the most popular/proven PS plugins. Recommendations appreciated.

There are apps that will track time in applications automatically, such as X minutes in PS and XX mins in InDesign etc. Any of them will require a little set up or pushing a button to switch/assign a job. They are system wide so it's probably not a PS plug in.

I don't think you can do that the volume is universal, but maybe turn down the volumes in the app settings?

We are looking for an app that can sell time.

Do you mean you just want a sketching/drawing/painting app for the iPad? If so, there are tons of them. Everything from simple free pen and pencil sketch apps, to paid apps with an overwhelming set of options. There are technical drawing apps for structural type drawings, apps designed for comic-theme sketches, simple black and white sketch apps, apps to mimic watercolor painting, oil painting - you name it, in terms of sketching or painting, there is almost certainly an app for it.
You will need to do some searching in the app store - a few free ones I can recall of the top of my head are

Bamboo Paper
Pen & Ink
Sketches (although that may only have been free for a short period, and no longer so).

You should contact the company that makes the one for your computer and ask them to make an app for your iPhone. Apple only makes a couple of apps. The other million are made by people like you and I or by companies and are posted to the app store.

This doesn't really answer your question, but children find tablets much easier to use than traditional computers. Even children much younger than your daughter are surprisingly adept with them, and they usually don't need to be taught.

Good app for tracking employee info/time

Hello,
I'm looking for a simple iphone app (besides a note taker) that I can jot down what time we left the store at night so I can compare to their timesheets when they submit at the end of the week. Also, mabye notes on an employee (if late, call off sick, etc..) I use Evernote right now to simply jot down a note when we leave each night and other notes on the employees but was just wondering if there was an app that would make my life easier?
We don't use a time clock at work so it's just a way to help keep tabs for validating time sheets at the end of the week. Thanks for any input.

Yes Outlook is Compatible for iPAD, but you have to buy it as an additional APP. However you can download something called "iCloud Control Panel" for Windows Machine & Install it. This would integrate all your Windows Calendar in Outlook to iCloud.
Then enable iCloud in your iPad. All your contacts & calendars would sync automatically to your outlook on the windows machine. You can actuallu configure "Mail" app in the iPad to your exchange server.

My boyfriend likes to check up on me by using find my iPhone app. Sometimes I feel he goes overboard and would like to know how often he is watching me. The gray icon is always there because he watches me every day, but if there is a way to reset it do that I can check it time after time and see if he watched me again since the last time I checked. Understood. However, the point that I'm trying to make is that it's not the WiFi access point's security that's in question, it's having your phone's WiFi in an always-on mode that's in question. It's simple: if your phone's WiFi is on, then it is both discoverable and hackable... even when it's not connected to a WiFi network or access point. The point is that it's not secure to have your phone's WiFi in an always-on mode. It would be better for privacy and security if Apple made WiFi location aware so that it is only enabled when you are at a trusted location (e.g. your home or office). Or, at least give us the option of location aware WiFi so that each user can determine the best mode for their phone:
(1) Always-On (current default - not secure and many privacy issues).
(2) Trusted mode (only on at trusted locations).
(3) Off.

If I'm honest, the answer of Richard was for me enough to realize where I made a "wrong inference" in understanding color management.
