Are there flip cases for iPod Touch? If so, which would you recommend?

I'm in the market for an iPod Touch. I'd like to get a case/cover for it that would function the way the flip cover did on the SONY Clie SJ33 or the Palm T3 worked... much like the communicators on Star Trek!
Does anyone make such an accessory? Are there certain ones you would recommend?

Well, I've received my brand new IPT and still don't have a case!
I've researched the cases suggested here (thanks for the tips!) and scores more (far too many). I cannot seem to find a flip case WITHOUT a magnet! And given what I've read in threads here, I really don't want to risk a several hundred dollar device with a magnetic clasp case. I realize that lots of folks use them without problems, but I keep finding posts from people who have real issues!
And strangely, the Apple Store carries most of the Marware cases EXCEPT FOR THE FLIP CASE (the one I was leaning towards), which is their only case with magnets! Is Apple trying to tell us something?
(I wish I had just bought the Belkin Folio case when it was free after rebate on Black Friday from Amazon!)
As a temporary fix, I've put some thin clear vinyl wrap around the IPT (left over from trials years ago with my Palms) and will jerry rig something with my Palm T3 flip cover-- it's perfectly sized and right form factor! A Palm iPod Touch!
I'm now debating a combo of Power Support Air Jacket with the Marware Flip Vue. And simply gambling on the magnetic clasp problem!
Any thoughts? Reactions? Am I way off base for worrying about the magnets?

Tried a Reset (Hold down the sleep and home button, ignore the off slider, wait for the Apple logo and let go?)
Tried Restoring your phone from a backup if the Reset didn't work?
Tried Restoring your iPhone as a new phone if none of the above worked?

Currently there's no program you can download and sync it to your iPod. However, there are some web apps you can use. This means the application will be loaded in safari. Here's some:

Hi there fellow ipod Touch users.
Just ordered my Ipod Touch 32 gig thru apple.es and since its my first Ipod Touch i come here to gain some knowledge about my new toy hehe.
Was just wondering what apps are a must have for Ipod Touch?
Apart from music i would like to watch a movie once in a while and apart from that use the Wifi conection aswell.
Would apreciate any input from the vets,thanks in advance for the replies.

scout the iTunes app store and find out which apps will suit your needs. you can do that NOW, while you anticipate the arrival of your new toy. it's more fun that way, IMHO

apple issued a recal for a specific generation of ipod nano, but nothing wrong with old ipod touches thus far.

I don't think you can do that the volume is universal, but maybe turn down the volumes in the app settings?

GPS apps for iPod touch.

I just bought a Dual XGPS150 for my iPod touch hoping it would make a decent GPS out of the device but it turns out that without an internet connection you can't search for new destinations or make any adjustments and theres a lot of issues with the maps. I have only tried Waze and MotionXGPS and so far they're both complete garbage without an internet connection.
Are there any apps out there that can allow you to search with a GPS connection (but not an internet connection) that are half decent? (I've heard about Navigon but it's out of my price range.)

The Dual GPS150 is a bluetooth GPS device that can be paired with the iPod to give it a GPS signal.
I know Navigon is a good option but I'm going to France for 2 months and the Europe map pack is 120$. I can buy a GPS for that price!

Are there any fixes for the iPad 2 IOS 8.1.1? I've had problems with Safari and other Apps crashing or locking up, and with extremely slow touch response. These problems have been occurring since the last update. At times the iPad becomes unusable. I have been keeping all programs closed and history and web site data cleared. Thanks for any help you can give.

I have exactly the same problem. The device was my favorite computer until 8.1.1. Now it runs s-l-o-w-l-y, requires endless reboots.
To improve the performamce, I have tried these:
1.Go to Setting->General->Accessibility->Reduce Motion. Turn on.
2.Reset iPad device settings using Setting->General->Reset->Reset All Settings. Its increase iPad performance little better.
3.Hold the sleep/wake button and home button upto 8 seconds. This will turn off your iPad. Then turn on iPad. Wait few moments. Do the same thing twice to solve this issue.
Solution 3 worked for me. And, I always recommend you to backup your iPad first before any action to avoid any data loss.

Downloading apps for ipod touch

i have downloaded some apps for the ipod touch using itunes on my PC but i cant get them on my ipod touch do anyone know how to do this?

ive just updated my ipod touch with software 2.0 version.
managed to downloaded few free applications/games as a trial, before purchasing other paid apps/games.
BUT every time i touch the apps/games icons on my ipod touch, POOF, the apps/games seems to be unplayable, and goes back to the main menu.
can someone explain to me why did this happened? is there anything i missed out while updating to the 2.0 version and/or while downloading the apps/games?
PLS HELP, anyone?
