Are there video templates for Premiere Pro?

I was wondering if Adobe Premiere has any video templates to make video editing a little faster and professional?

One that I can plug video and pictures and the back ground looks
professtional.  One like this.

I hope that helps
Those look like "Virtual 3D Sets".
There used to be software that did this.  IIRC : from Serious Magic. ( Mark Mapes may be will comment)

  • Best Export / Video settings for Premiere Pro. Help Needed.

What's the best settings when you want to export a video from Premiere Pro for the web or otherwise. Best settings = good quality video and LOW file size.
Benchmark : The videos on Apple Trailers. Check them out at http://www.apple.com/trailers
The trailers are of high quality video, great sounds, and the Large sizes all fall under the 25MB mark. Any ideas on HOW this is done and what
settings in Premiere Pro CS3 might be able to replicate such standards?
Any help is appreciated. I normally use Encoder and export using H264 but that always seems to have an Audio lag. Any similar issues?
    Thanks a mil!

I understand that better quality = bigger file size. That's true in most cases, but there is a way around it, I'm just not sure what that way is. As I mentioned in the original post, the benchmark is http://www.apple.com/trailers . The non-HD videos on any movie page on that site hardly ever exceeds the 25MB mark. The videos are 2-3minutes long, and while they may not be top-notch BD visuals, they look way better than 95% of the stuff that's streamed off the net.
That's why I asked if anyone had any ideas on how to replicate something like that. Say I had a avi file of great quality, shot with a Panasonic DV Cam. I Capture the footage, do whatever I have to in Pr, and the result is now a 3minute video. I want it exported to a Quicktime file, I want it to look visually pleasing like the trailers on Apple, and I want it to fall under 25MB. I have tried H.264 encoding, regular Quicktime, and Quicktime via Encoder. Nothing reaches the expected quality.
For more examples visit http://www.passionpictures.com.my/pages/recent.aspx and download those simple 30second clips. All Quicktime, mostly under 5.5MB. If Pr can't do it, then I don't know what can...so I'm sure Pr can do it.
Problem is, how? Experimentation is definitely a way to go, I get that. But on the basis of the scenario given above...how is it done?

  • Video card for Premiere Pro 4.1

I am trying to decide on which video card to get with my new Windows 7 desktop.  I run CS4 Master Suite, mostly:
    Premiere Pro
    After Effects
    Photoshop
    My criteria would be:
    1.Stability.
    2. Performance (most importantly for PP and AE, less so for PS)
    3. Quiet.  I don't want a jet engine in my office.
    4. Price.  I will spend whatever it takes, but less is more!
I have been researching this for days and cannot figure out what the answer is.  I see on the PPBM project that the top machines use a ATI HD4870, but I have also seen some reviews that this card can be pretty noisy.
In case it matters, here are the specs on my new machine:
The new machine is a Dell XPS 9000 (basically a newer version of my current machine).  It will sport:
    1 Intel Core i7-920 processor (4 cores)
    12     GB RAM
One 1 TB OS drive (SATA) (WD Caviar Green variable speed)
One Project RAID 0 array with 3 drives of 2TB each (SATA) (WD Caviar Green variable speed)
    Dual 30" 2560 x 1600 monitors
(I will be posting a seperate question about the RAID project drive ... I see some discussion on this board that perhaps I would be better off with 3 seperate drives.  I will be asking about that seperately)
    Comments?  Suggestions?
    Thanks in advance!.

+1 on the very slow green drives
for Adobe you never want an ATI card
nVidia is Cuda enabled and off loads some of the load to GPU.
with upcoming CS5 and the Mercury engine you have very very few choices. all are nVidia
    285
and higher Quadro series. (which give no absolutely no performance gain over the 285) in fact most of the quadro are based on the much slower 260.
nVidia managed to get Adobe to agree to this can you guess why?
hopefully before release they will at least support the 295 and (doubtfully the 260)

  • Video card for Premiere Pro

I am considering purchasing a new 2013 Imac 3.2 GHz quad core I5 with 16 GB of ram. I would probably get the NVIDIA GeForce GTX 680MX with 2GB GDDR5 video card. My question is would the video card allow for Mercury Playback and if not would it get me close to that kind of performance the Mercury Playback provides with Premiere Pro?

Let's assume you are willing to spend € 1000 on your system.
If you get the GTX 660 Ti, you are out of around € 250-300 and that leaves you with around € 700-750 to spend on your disk setup. You already have an 8-port LSI controller. You also have 4 disks, set up as two raid0 arrays, giving you an approximate transfer raid of 260 BG/s on each array if they are modern disks, maybe 200 GB/s if they are somewhat older.
If you were to get say 6 Seagate Constellation ES 1 TB disks @ € 90, that would set you back around € 540 but you gain 6 TB of raw space (5 TB net in raid5), and when configured as a 6 disk raid5 array would give you about 600 GB/s transfer rate. This would require moving one raid0 array to the Marvell ports on your mobo. To me that looks like a better solution than the Titan card.

  • Is Lightroom a viable tool to manage video assets for Premiere Pro?

I'm trying to determine the easiest workflow for cataloging and importing DSLR video footage for my video productions.  Generally, I simply drag my video footage from the memory card over to my RAID array and store the footage in a subfolder named after the date it was shot.  I'd love to be able to use the metadata features of lightroom to help catalog my vast library of footage.  Currently, the only way I have it organized is by date and then by Premiere Pro project.
Does anyone use Lightroom for video cataloging?  I know it is possible, but I have found little info on whether this is a common workflow.
I'd like to avoid using a different third party cataloging system, so if any of you are using lightroom for your premiere pro cataloging I'd love to hear your advice.

  • Are these good laptops for Premiere Pro Cs5?

Okay so I will be going off to college soon (September) and I will be buying my first laptop for this reason, but I will be doing full HD videos on it. I help photographers and videographers with photo retouching and video editing as well as making music videos and I need a laptop that will handle Premiere Pro Cs5 (acutally the whole production premium suite). I can't buy a desktop yet because my first semester is abroad and I can't travel with much weight. These are the ones I have been looking at:
    Asus G73JH-RBBX05

    Dell Studio 17

I'm open to sugestions but I won't buy anything from HP, Sony, or Toshiba because I have had problems with their products.
Also would an intel core i5 handle Premiere and After Effects?
I usually make 3 to 4 videos and 100 images every 10 days but I can reduce the production to 2 and 70 if I have to.
    Thank you in advance.

I recently purchased the Dell Studio
16 XPS with SSD and an i7 processor to do
nothing but Photoshop, Lightroom, and PP CS5
processing for approx 2 TBs of past & present video
footage  (including AVCHD) and full HD 24P and 30P
footage from my DSLR; I run WIN 7 with 64 bit in 8 GB ram; all
my cache's are on the SSD and I have gigabit network
that serves up my source files at approx 40-70 MBytes/sec
(depending on the file or files); I use the QNAP TS259 Pro as
my NAS; the Dell has the ATI hi-performance graphics card
that only partially takes advantage of the Mercury Playback
Engine(no hardware acceleration with the ATI); I'm extremely
happy with the technologies; I can do the majority of my video
editing W/O pre-rendering altho at times for precision stuff I do
pre-render; having the historical perspective of using PS & PP since
1997 on Windows platforms I can assuredly tell you that the
performance and productivity uplifts from the marriage of these
    software & hardware technologies is nothing short of miraculous;
I couldn't be happier; don't skimp on your laptop: 1)i7 2)8GB or more
DDR3 RAM 3) fast disks or SSD  4)HD capable monitor and 5) graphics
card that preferably takes full advantage of the Mercury Engine; you'll need
to shell out about $2500 for all of this (excluding the 30" monitor that I use with mine)
    Hope this helps....

  • Are there any templates for Wills in Pages?

I am looking to write a Will or Living Will. Are there any legal document templates available through the Pages application?

A will isn't something that you draft willy-nilly.  There are rules that must be followed with regard to how you go about signing the document, who can/should be a witness to the document, whether witnesses can be legatees under the document, what language needs to be included in the document if you intend upon disinheriting a family member, how you go about setting up time-frames for when legatees vest, etc.
From the perspective of setting-up a will that does what you intend, hiring an attorney helps to ensure that your wishes are respected makes a lot of sense, even for attorneys who have no experience in drafting wills.  There are very serious tax consequences that come into play when drafting a will, even if you aren't a multi-millionaire.  Do yourself a favor, consult with an attorney.  If cost is a concern, you state's bar association probably can direct you to an attorney who's willing to prepare the document for you at a reduced fee.

  • Are there video settings for the iphone 4?

Does anyonw know if there are settings that you can change for video on the iphone 4?

    Thanks

    Hey there hondafan53,
It sounds like your microphone makes you sound muffled to people you talk to on the phone. For that issue, I would use the troubleshooting in the following article:
If your voice is too faint or sounds unclear using iPhone, or iPod touch
    Test the microphone
To find out if there is an issue with the microphone itself—and not the app you're using or your cellular connection—test the microphone with the built-in Voice Memos app. Speak into the microphone and then play back the recording. You should be able to hear your voice clearly.
    Fix common issues
Follow these steps, testing after each with Voice Memos.
Unplug anything plugged into the headset jack.
If you're on a call and holding your phone next to your ear, speak into the microphone and make sure you don't block it with your fingers or shoulder.
If you're using a screen protector or case that covers the microphone, remove it. Clear any debris from the microphones.
    Restart your device.
Update to the latest version of iOS.
If you've tried these steps and people still can't hear you well on calls, contact Apple Support.
Thank you for using Apple Support Communities.
    Take care,
    Sterling

  • Are there any Updates for Logic Pro 9 to work with Yosemite?

I updated my iMac to the OS X Yosemite 10.10 and my M-Audio Fast Track board does not work with my Logic Pro 9.
Is there a way or Updates available to make them work together? I work with music and I am LOSING TIME AND MONEY on this...
    Thanks for ANY help

It's not Logic 9 that's the problem, if the M-Audio device is not compatible with Yosemite Core Audio (which I don't believe it is) no version of Logic will be able to use it. Before any upgrade of main applications or operating system one needs to check and see if all related hardware is supported. Hopefully you have a backup of your last working configuration.

The use of terminology like "handcuffs," "theft-rates," "bondage," "greed" strikes me as hostile. Courtesy Webster online: "a: of or relating to an enemy; b:  marked by malevolence: having or showing unfriendly feelings; c: openly opposed or resisting."
I'm a bit stumped by the link you provide. I have not posted to that thread, and the quote you cite is instead from this very thread. Post 12, to be precise. Proceeding on the assumption that the link was simply a mistake on your part but the quote was what you intended to paste, I'd say "the easy way out" would have been to do nothing: let users continue to struggle with the problems caused by the disparity in effects and transitions across platforms. Instead, we opted to address the issue--in the manner we deemed best for the majority of our customers given the realities of deadlines, finite resources, and competing priorities. As it happens, I was directly involved in these decisions. In light of the small number of complaints I've seen in the 7 months since the release of CC2014, I'm comfortable with the choices we made.
But more to the point in light of the point you were attempting to make, I'm utterly baffled at how you think my statement substantiates your hyperbolic assertion that the CC releases of Premiere Pro are untested.
And now back to Oferez307's previously scheduled thread...
