Are there Whole Word or Phrase Key Boards?

My teenage son has multiple handicaps that prevent him from using voice recognition software and typing with any reasonable speed that would enable an easy way to Text his friends. He's begging for a text enabled phone, but I know he and his friends would just become frustrated. Years ago he had a device that enabled him to program keys to say and type words. Is there an app for that or alternate keyboard? He would be able to use it for texting and emailing. Any developers out there willing to create such an app?

Better than what ? what are you using? FCP6 up has excellent chroma keying capabilities .. I use FCP 7.01 but had FCP 6 before, both have (under effects) Keys; color smooth 4:2:2 then the Chroma Keyer .. There is a lot of fine adjustments of the Sat, Luma and edge softening which affect the end result .. To get it right it is long adjust / correct process but quality results often take time ..Have a look at Ken Stones tutorial (old, 2004, but still very valid principles): +http://www.kenstone.net/fcphomepage/chroma_key_fcp_hdmonahan.html.+
A tip on posting here is to give lots of detail on what you are using, what the end deliverable is (media / format etc) it helps the real experts .. Is there a way to hightlight a word or phrase on a websit and do a web search on it without retyping it into the search box

Replace Function: Replacing Whole Words Only

I'm enhancing the verity search on a project I'm working on,
removing the operator words (as well as others) from search
criteria before passing it to the verity engine. The only problem
I'm having so far is stripping out the whole words "AND", "OR", and
"NOT" from user-specified search criteria. I obviously want to do
it only in cases where "AND", "OR", and/or "NOT" are the whole
word, and not replace things like "hand", "organization", and
"notingham". It's probably so simple, but I'm a bit stumped.
While I'm here, has anyone developed anything to enhance

you can do this with ReReplace()
look in the documentation for "boundary", somewhere in the
regex
documentation, and you'll find what you're looking for. i
think it's "\b",
so it's something along the lines of

Recharging is a good thing to try. They do start to act odd when the battery gets low. Beyond that, just like Tom says, contact Zagg. I have one of their keyboards and the company has wonderful customer service.

Restating my issue / question...
When I send email from this iMac, there is a string of characters assigned. The characters are all the "alpha numeric" characters on the QWERTY key board. This only occurs when email is sent from this iMac. The issue does not manifest when using any other lap top or computer.
Hence, I have ruled out the issue is a yahoo mail matter.
Again, I can access the Yahoo mail account form multiple devices and send email without unintended assignment of character strings, but when I send wmail using this iMac, the issue happens everytime.
Characters are stacked verticaly in a column. It looks as if all characters (except function keys) are included in the string.
Any ideas?

This procedure is a diagnostic test. It won’t solve your problem. Don’t be disappointed when you find that nothing has changed after you complete it.

Below are instructions to enter some UNIX shell commands. The commands are harmless, but they must be entered exactly as given in order to work. Some of the commands will line-wrap or scroll in your browser, but each one is really just a single line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, and you can then copy it. The headings “Step 1” and so on are not part of the commands.
Note: If you have more than one user account, Step 2 must be taken as an administrator. Ordinarily that would be the user created automatically when you booted the system for the first time. There might be an add-on for this. You could try searching [https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/ the Add-ons site].
This is a little more complicated than it may appear, though, because different sites use different mark-up codes for links. For example, this site works similarly to Wikipedia, but most forum sites use BBCode tags. Still others may allow pure HTML. Not sure about blogs (and any comment with a link may be held for moderation as an anti-spam strategy, so keep that in mind).
What probably is simplest, if it's available, is to look for a link button above or next to the form you are commenting in. Then you can paste the URL of the destination page and be assured that the site will handle the formatting details.

Is there a way to isolate keying to specific area?

I do not think you can do this, but it would be really nice. Is there a way to use a bounding box to key a specific place. The reason I want to do this is because I have really good keying on 75 % of my body, but my left arm still has some green around it slightly. While I can adjust the whole think to take it out, it causes me to have to shrink myself in the 75% when it is not neccessary. So, if I could draw a bounding box or something around that 25% and and apply another ultra key just to it, it would be perfect. I am hoping this can be done, but I as I said, I do not think that it can.

I just figured out how to do it or at least one way to do it. If you create an adjustment layer, you can move the layer around to be over the area you want to do more keying. Just add the ultra key to the adjustment layer and it will adjust the keying only where the adjustment layer is. I sure there might be another way, but I think this will work for what I need. If anyone has any ideas of why Premerie keeps locking up when trying to encode aftereffects has changed the video, that would be awesome.

If this is Office for Mac 2011 then it will work on your new computer. Reinstall it. If you don't have the key code call Microsoft's activation line to get a new key code. Explain that you lost the original key code and want to install Office on your new computer.

Funny you should ask... At about the same time that the Xserve was discontinued, we also lost our channel rep of nearly 14 years. Right now we are not sure who our rep is. I have however, sent this to as many people in Apple that I could think of. And I plan on continuing to reach out to as many as possible.
The sad reality is that this decision is impacting customer deployments and the future of customer installations. Apple strives for market share and loves to tout those numbers. But the numbers we fought for over these last eight years are going to disappear.
As much as this impacts our business, we are making up for it in enterprise deployment of systems. We will survive and lead in our geographic area. I do not fear that. But OS X Server is a UNIX server and with it has come all of the benefits of a UNIX system, including legitimacy in a data center. The Intel Xserve cemented this reality because of its hardware configuration and form factor. Yes, we have G4 and G5s still in service. But those are mostly in all Mac shops that understand the benefits and can work around the buzz word limitations. But fortune 100/500 IT departments did not really get on board until the release of the Intel server.
Still beating the drum to raise awareness. Spread the word and talk to your Apple reps.
Also, ask about the direction that Apple's Enterprise team is going. If the news I hear is correct, then our fears about all things pro and enterprise going away are likely true.

In Firefox 3.6 and later versions you can disable the F7 shortcut that toggles caret browsing by setting the pref accessibility.browsewithcaret_shortcut.enabled to false.

Calculated key figures are returning the word "ERROR"

the calculated key figures which i used in one query are displaying the word "ERROR" at the end of the results as part of each cells formatting.But when i copied the same query to my system then its not showing the word error and even i created one more query which is a replica of the first one and then also iam not getting the error .
what might be the cause of this issue . kindly suggest me how to control the word error in the out put

you can control the way BW displays exceptions with customizing (SPRO) transaction RSCUSTV4.
identify differences of these settings in your systems and apply them accordingly.
