Are these for real?
On the road this week around Ireland and noted a new Car Charger with the Blackberry logo etc.. all over it for next to nothing. Seen stuff like this before from the same crod. Beware, these are not the real thing. Had a nightmare trying to work out who to report this to at Blackberry? any ideas?

I do not have any VPN enabled?Do you happen to have an Android? If so and depending on what version there is a great data usage analyse tool built-in. See if you can go to Settings -> Data Usage from there you can pick a current or previous billing cycle and then use the vertical sliders to select a date range and it will filter the usage data per app to show you exactly what app(s) were using data during that time frame.

Ok as you know I've done a bit of moaning about BT Infinity or lack of. Well today tops the lot:-
Had an email today me that it would be better for me to change my infinity options from 1 to 2 as I've gone over the 40GB on option 1.

sky twitter account a customer ask why sky go streams are worst then sd and yet bt and eurosports apps stream in hd. Reply from mod, oh thats easy the files for hd are some huge that sky go can't play them and no app can stream hd due to this and so when they say they are they're really sd streams, if there was any way around this we would have done it now.Hamish72, I never tho about that lol. Spoke to them yesterday and asked them what they are playing at and have just checked my bill and the Infinity Option 1 has been removed from my account.
I just know that this is going to come back and bite me in the ? when they get thier act together and get infinity up and running around here.

How many times am i supposed to rma your junks till i find the one lucky trash which doesn't whine like crazy (IF THERE ARE ANY!)
I have already paid a fortune shipping these trashes for a slight hope to get the one which works the way it should,still no luck !

If you have such issue for Xth time, then seems like it's not the graphics card but possibly PSU

Hi I am in the market to buy a Thinkpad T400 from eBay since they are no longer available on Lenovo. I have found some deals that say they are selling a "new but opened boxed" their reason for opening the box is to make sure all accessories are inside the box.They also claim the warranty is still intact. To me this sounds a little too good to be true. I was wondering if anybody in the community have had any experience with this? These are some of my fears of buying from these sellers...
1) Cheap knock offs(fake) Thinkpads T400.
2) They messed with the hardware inside with keylogging devices, hardware time bombs(like the computer will just be dead after a year), or they took out good Lenovo hardware and replaced it with some cheap hardware, etc.
3) Voided Warranty thinkpads.
Any idea if I should buy these Thinkpads on eBay? and if I do decide to buy them, is there any kind of indicators i can look for to know that my warranty is not void?

Go to Solution.Ask for the serial number and model to confirm the product. Also you may want to purchase it using credit card and paypal so you can get refund if the product is less than what you expect.
My friend have got a T400 that he got in the USA from ebay with serial number stickers removed and serial number on the motherboard reflashed. He said when it arrived it was brand new looking exactly like the T400 that he bought in Australia. Some people say these thinkpads could be stolen and sold off the ebay, i am not sure if this is true.
So this system you are interested could be one of these machines.
Unless it represents an outstanding value, then i think you should give it a pass and get the T410 instead.

I need some help. I have been given a couple of sets of Mac OS X Install Disc's but I need to find out what Mac's they are for. The only thing I can tell is that one set is for an iMac and the other is for a MacBook.
The information on the iMac disc is a s follows:
Mac OS version 10.5.2
AHT version 3A143
Disc version 1.1
2Z691-6208-A
and for the MacBook disc is as follows:
Mac OS version 10.5.2
AHT version 3A140
Disc version 1.1
2Z691-6209-A
Is there some where on the Apple site that has this information or not.

How many ways does one need to say "Which iMac?" You are aware that there are many different models of iMac... yes? Sheesh, come on, answer the question or don't already.
That said... GrayOwl, I think the reason you're getting some less-than-helpful responses is that it sounds like you're trying to install someone else's copy of Leopard on your machine. I'm inclined to think that you're not, since if that were the case, it would be a fairly simple thing to find out if your iMac is the same model.
So, on the assumption that you are not just borrowing the discs... However you got them, I would consider you to be the owner at this point, and if whoever you got them from still has a copy, that person is the one violating the license.
Whether or not you can install it is another story... good luck finding your answer to that. -

We don't have any idea what they are without some more information from you. If they are apps, then the names of the apps should be under the grey icons. Are there any names under the icons? What do the icons look like? Can you post a screenshot?
HHold down on the power button and then press the home button until you hear the sound of a camera shutter and the screen will flash white. That's how you take a screenshot. The screenshot will be saved to the camera roll and you can post the screenshot in your reply by tapping on the camer icon in the editing box.
You will have to post the screenshot on your computer. Safari on the iPad does not have that capability. -

You don't need to start a new thread to continue a conversation, you can just tack onto the original one. The settings I referred you to are for the Blackberry, since that's the device which is not receiving mail: anything which is working can be left alone.

My mail forms created by muse 2014.0.1.30 do not work. PHP 5.4 is enabled by my hoster, so they should work. Can anyone help me, for these forms are crucial for my business. The forms confirm delivery, but the mails are not recieved. No spam filters enabled.
Meanwhile, I was able to narrow the problem down: PHP seems not to accept a re-directed mail address as sender of the mail in some cases. So, it has nothing to do with the mail form itself.Hi Ingo,

I've done all of these recommended steps. My problem is that I have a new laptop that I am trying to sync my iPhone (and iPad for that matter) via Wi-Fi but both devices are looking for the old laptop to sync. My iTunes is version 11.0..3.42, iPhone is 6.1.4, and iPad 6.1.3. Any suggestions?
All I had to do was complain. I synced my iPhone to the Windows machine, checked the other account at iTunes prompting (where no apps had shown up previously), reconnected the iPad, and 140 apps downloaded including the App Store. I have no idea why.

hi,i use logic pro 9 and cubase to record,produce and master audio recordings and have bought a mac as recommended.have upgraded to 8gig memory (which i was told was the maximum you could upgrade a macbook pro)and still my recordin is slightley behind plauback.i need to replace my hard drive with a solid state drive to solve the problem.i have seen on youtube how to replace the hard drive but have noticed on the disk partition information that there is a 500gig harddrive for the system(booting up ect)and a 500gig harddrive for data storage,are these the same unit?i need to be sure im upgrading what the system uses to an ssd as well as the data storage or the problem wont be solved.i have an external hard drive so i have been looking at a smaller,faster ssd. hope you can help!

Are these Chargers good for an iPod?
Hey everyone. Listen, today I went in town and had some time to buy some stuff.
Now i needed a charger for my iPod Touch 4G. I didn't buy the one from apple with 30 euro, i just got something else, that should do the same job.
But I'm a bit unsure that it's working well.
On the back if I can read:
Input: 100-240VAC
0.3A 50-60HZ
Output: 5VDC---1A
And the one for the car is like:
Input: 12-24Vdc
Output: 5.0Vdc --- 700mA
Now I don't know if this is healthy for the iPod. Is it? o.O
I used the one for the car (and i think the iPod is heating). That doesn't look good...
Is this my imagination? or do these things really hurt the iPod?
One other funny thing that happens. When I used these chargers, for some reason, the Audio disappears. If I open up music and so on, the volume level bar is vanished.... is that normal?
Anyway, the main question is: Are these things safe??? o.O
ThanksI use a basic Samsung phone charger for my Ipod Touch. It outputs the same 5.0v --- .7 A.
When it overheats, thats just the battery charging.
I've used the same charger on all my ipods for 3 years now.... and they all have continued to work just fine...
You can use them safely.
Other then that, I have absolutley no idea why your audio bar may dissapear. It's most likely a powersaving feature... In otherwords, check your settings.

I am trying to organize thousands of old images in aperture. Aperture dates them all in 2008, when I started this project. When I change the date in aperture some of them hold the modified date and some revert to 2008. Any ideas?
