Are winncom drivers ok for windows xp sp2?

i realize my bluetooth headsets won't work with the current stacks profiles (correct terminology?) on windows xp sp2. And I read numerous websites and fixes for this by downloading the winncom drivers to allow bluetooth headsets to work.
my question is if this is ok to do on BootCamp. Since apple has it's bluetooth profile in the computer to allow the mac's bluetooth to be accessible by windows, will adding or replacing with the winncom drives effect the computer? I use bluetooth to connect my mighty mouse and my wireless keyboard.
someone must have tried this already. I'm surprised there isn't a post about this yet. (forgive me if i just didn't see it)
thanks everyone!!!

You're welcome.
At least when googling for that board I found it offered in a German online shop with it's components listed. It should be possible to google drivers for it's components (Intel G965 + ICH8 chipset, JMicron JMB368 IDE controller, VIA VT6307 Firewire, Realtek ALC888 sound, Intel 82566DC Lan)

  • Drivers download for Windows 10

I am so disappointed in HP's response to the roll out of Windows 10.  There are no driver downloads for Windows 10 and although I do not feel Microsoft did a grerat job on their roll out regarding their Technical support I am still without my CD, my Kodak camera and had great difficulty getting my printer to work.  All my equipment is HP and here I sit dead in the water with some of my issues.  Was told to wait a month and check HP again for their new driver down loads. I just did the auto driver update download which scans the system that reported no issues were found.  It was Windows 7 check.  It should have acknowledged that nothing was available for Windows 10 and when it should be expected. I understand from Microsoft Dell, Acer and others had all their drivers available for the Windows 10.  Supposdely all mfg. received the software in June to give them time to produce their drivers.SHAME ON HP!!!!MC-Arizona

So I have the Aspire M3970 as well. I applied for the Windows 10 upgrade, and it comes back saying I'm totally compatible. Install and any connection via the Internet to Micosoft programs (Edge, Search, Store, Windows update, etc.) doesn't work. Yet Chrome and Vista do work fine. Contact Microsoft and have a tech work on my system for a couple of hours and can't fix, then books an appointment for an escalated tech to work on it. He plays around for an hour tonight and then tells me that my computer doesn't have the drivers. Then...here is the kicker, I ask him to revert me back to Window 8.1 which you have 1 month to do so, and the message comes up that the files have been overwritten. Now I'm being told by Acer that I'm not entitled for support, being told by Microsoft to wait for Acer to fix the drivers but the can install Windows 8.1 but I will lose my bought and paid for Office Professional 2010. Is everybody just turnig a blind eye to customers for years to their products?

  • Plans to change JAAS/GSS for Windows XP SP2 and beyond

Are there any plans to reimplement JAAS GSS on the windows platform to account for this issue:
Cause 2: This exception is thrown when using native ticket cache on some Windows platforms. Microsoft has added a new feature in which they no longer export the session keys for Ticket-Granting Tickets (TGTs). As a result, the native TGT obtained on Windows has an "empty" session key and null EType. The effected platforms include: Windows Server 2003, Windows 2000 Server Service Pack 4 (SP4) and Windows XP SP2.
Solution 2: You need to update the Windows registry to disable this new feature. The registry key allowtgtsessionkey should be added--and set correctly--to allow session keys to be sent in the Kerberos Ticket-Granting Ticket.
    Thanks!
    -Bob

This is an old thread, but one of my clients has run into the same problem. Hopefully someone is still monitoring....
The answer is that the implementation should not be trying to do anything directly with keys. Delegation works just fine if it has been configured correctly in AD. Simply impersonate the context on the server side and then call the appropriate API to get a new service ticket and it will use the forwarded TGT. Credential delegation solved.
MS was correct to "fix" the session key interface since it allowed user code to attain a "password equivalent". The JAAS implementation should be fixed to use the Windows authentication interfaces correctly.
    Thanks,
    Dave

Hello mike_farhat.  I understand you're looking for drivers for your G6.
Unfortunately there are no drivers available specifically for Windows 7 32-bit.  However, here is a link to the drivers for Windows 7 64-bit.
Another thing you could try is to install both the HP Software Framework and HP Support Assistant.  Then you can run HP Support Assistant and the application will scan your PC and automatically download and install any drivers which are available.
I hope this helps.  Have a great day!

  • Why are the drivers missing for importing and burning cd's and DVD's after a new installation of the software?

I have just downloaded iTunes for 64-bit Windows 7, 7 times and I and got this error message:
"The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CD's and DVD's are missing.  This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall."
This is a new hard drive, and there are no other CD burning software installed other than Windows Media Player which was pre-installed...There has never been any conflicts with any of the other previous versions of iTunes with WMP.  I have reinstalled iTunes about 7 times and have come to the conclusion that the software is faulty, because all 7 times, I continuously get the exact same error message. This version of iTunes doesn't recognize my iPhone, iTouch, iPad, or Apple TV.  My music however is stored in the cloud, but having to constantly download 6,000 plus songs over and over again is time consuming and really a waste of data.
Are there available drivers that can be downloaded to remedy this problem, and if so, how can I obtain them?

"The registry settings used by the iTunes drivers for importing and burning CD's and DVD's are missing.  This can happen as a result of installing other CD burning software. Please reinstall."
I'd start with the following document, with one modification. At step 12 after typing GEARAspiWDM press the Enter/Return key once prior to clicking OK. (Pressing Return adds a carriage return in the field and is important.)

  • Satellite P20-221: Drivers needed for Windows 7

    Hi,
i would like to have windows 7 on my P20-221 but i just need few drivers to do that.
In the first time, can i update my Bios ?
In a second time, where i can find some toshiba programs (like touch key) compatible with windows 7
And at last, i just have 4 drivers problems (controler IEEE 1394, modem pci, and 2 unknown peripherics).
Thank you if you could help me.

    Hi
The P20 is an oldie and the Win 7 drivers are not released officially for this notebook.
I didnt find any on the Toshiba European driver page
So I assume you will need to search for such drivers at your own hand.
Tip: try to install Win 7 VAP (value added package) and Flash Card Support Utility which are released for newer notebook series like L500 or newer. Usually such tools are not notebook model related so maybe you could download and install this on this P20.
    Furthermore I recommend checking this:
    http://forums.computers.toshiba-europe.com/forums/ann.jspa?annID=78
This helps you to find drivers for some unknown devices.

  • Hp monitor drivers updated for windows 10

my newly updated Dell tablet (used in a docking station) can no longer detect my HP Pavilion 23 and 25 bw monitors. . .the hp website says that updated drivers are not available for Windows 10. . .when is HP going to make these available for Windows 10 upgrades????

Drivers for 7 do not exist for almost everything out there that is not natively handled in Windows 7. The monitor should have Plug and Played?
If you still want to pursue happiness you can try this (you are on your own because this is a release candidate):
    1. create a system restore point to go back in case you don't like how it turns out.
    2. Download the "XP" sp31061  to get to the inf (and ICM if you use it).
    3. Start the install but halt the install process when the HP Display Installer opens, and open the following path: C:\swsetup\Monitors\SP31061\64bit
    4. Inside you should be able to find a 32 and 64 bit inf that you can right-click on and install.  HP_vs19x64.inf

  • Why are you not developing for windows phone 8.1 yet?

I've heard a lot of good things about Microsoft opening up their platforms for developers. I literally used Firefox, Firefox sync, and enjoy Firefox as my default browser. I've seen a few posts saying Mozilla isn't currently developing for Windows Phone and I'm just wondering why. I know there is a demand for it. It would dominate the Windows Phone market for sure. I'd really like to see it come to the platform so can someone explain why specifically it isn't? What restrictions are still being faced if any?

hello, originally there have been technical and legal hurdles in the app store which discouraged mozilla from starting any developments in this direction. i don't know about the current situation, but since mozilla is now focusing its energies on creating firefox os as open source web-based platform, i doubt that you will see firefox on your windows phone device in the foreseeable future...

  • Oracle EBSuite 12i - Are the apps available for Windows 64 bit machine?

    Hello,
Can anyone help please? I am looking for Oracle EBSuite V 12i on eDelivery site. But the only Apps available for download is for Windows 32bit systems. Does anyone know if it is available for 64bit systems, given that most systems one buys now are 64bit machines? Based on the answer, i will either have to buy a new 32bit machine (if it is available) or get the downloads for 64bit systems. Please kindly let me know.
    Many thanks, Deepak

    1) Does one need to be a technical guru to install Oracle EBS R 12i on Windows? No.
    2) Do you have any documentation which takes this step by step for the non technical person?Oracle E-Business Suite Installation and Upgrade Notes Release 12 (12.1.1) for Microsoft Windows Server (32-bit) [ID 761567.1]
Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Installation Steps on Windows XP
Oracle E-Business Suite R12 Installation on Windows 2003
    3) I downloaded EBS zipped folders (approximately 30 to 40) from the eDelivery site. I will obviously have to unzip them and then run the exe files. My purpose in having R12i is purely for learning purposes, using the Visions database. Will I need to purchase any license for this, or after isntallation, I can start using the visions database? You can use it for the first 30 days for evaluation as mentioned in the e-Delivery website -- https://edelivery.oracle.com/
However, nothing would stop you from using the application after then -- The license is something ethical.
    Thanks,
    Hussein

  • Required all drivers suitable for windows 7

    Dear Sir,
I would like to inform you that, I have update my OS to windows 7 32Bit.
I would required all drivers like chpset, wifi, graphics & audio drivers.
Kindly help us to fix the issue, i have tried serval times on your customer call centre but i havent get any reply from them.
    Thanks & Regards
    Bairagi Charan Pasayat.

    Hi Bairagi,
You can use most drivers that were originally for Windows Vista. For the chipset and graphics, I'd recommend using the Intel Driver Update Utility. It will automatically recognize your chipset and graphics, after which it will provide you with the most recent drivers for your computer.
For the other drivers, like wifi and audio, most of the Windows Vista drivers will work. You can download them from http://h22207.www2.hp.com/us-en/drivers/selfservice/compaq-presario-c700-notebook-pc-series/3466274/... If you get an error that your operating system is not supported, you can use the Compability Mode. Right-click on the driver installation file > Properties > Compability > Windows Vista (Service Pack 2).
