Here i am giving the Steps to Copy the Existing Area menu, you can create the new one in the same way

Steps :-</b>
Goto Transaction SE43 - Area Menu
Click the copy button. Copy from S000 to ZXXX
After copying, click Change (area menu ZXXX)
Double click on Logistics and add in your transaction code in the AreaMenu.
Remembers to Activate it.
Next Goto Transaction SU01 - Maintain users
Type in the user name and click the Defaults button
Type in the area menu (ZXXX) in the Start Menu field.
Click Save
The user will be able to see the additional transaction on the next logon.

There's plenty of very user friendly video editing software that will do the tasks you've mentioned easily. Might I suggest Adobe Premiere Elements.

Hi! We have a few custom area menus. These have been added into roles in the past. Is there a way to list all roles that contain a specific area menu?

Everytime (parts of) a menu is used to create a role the transactions and menu paths (folders and transaction codes) are copied into the role menu as listed in AGR_HIER and AGR_HIERT. This action does not preserve a link to the original menu.
I'm afraid there isn't an easy way to reconstruct the original relationship.

How to Put together all SAP Transactions that are used a single User
Dear Friends,
In our client place, each user will be given a set of transaction codes, (like Sales Order Creation, Invoice Creation etc....). Each user role differs with other user role.
Our client requirement is to put together all transaction codes on which his role is assigned, for instance transaction coeds like VA11, VA15N, VA21, VA25N, VL01N, VL06O, Print command. and customer generated report 'Z' codes should be placed together in a single transaction.
I heard about area menus but I dont know how to call that functionality within the Sales Transactions. Could any one of you help me to resolve this issue. Your suggestions will be highly appreciated.

In case of your requirement , you can create an Area Menu (SE43) based on the role and assign all the required transactions.
Later you can assign that Area Menu as the default parameter to the User ID (SU01).
Whenever the user will logon he will see that area menu instead of initial SAP screen.
Please check with the same and confirm.

For example, you have created a transaction code called ( z123 - ABC Own Report ) and you want to insert it under Logistics. The specific user will be able to access ABC Own Report by clicking Logistics -> ABC Own Report.
Steps :-

The CUA area menus are converted to tree navigation in Release 4.6A. The menu contents are automatically copied into a new data structure in Upgrade to Release 4.6A or higher. You can edit Area Menus with a new maintenance interface (Area Menu maintenance transaction: SE43 ).
Reporting Tree Integration - Only transactions could previously be put in Area Menus. From Release 4.6A you can also put all the types of reports which are in reporting trees, in Area Menus. The system automatically assigns a transaction code to call the report from the menu. If you have already put the report in another Area Menu, no new transaction code is generated, the unique transaction code already assigned is used.
You can create Area Menus from complete reporting trees with the migration transaction RTTREE_MIGRATION . The report transaction codes are generated automatically.
Reporting trees can only be displayed. They cannot be maintained. To modify the contents of reporting trees, you must convert them with the migration transaction. You can then modify the contents with the Area Menu maintenance. -

I am using adobe Dreamweaver cs6 and my Laptop screen size 15.5 (39.4 cms) wide (1920 x 1080). My Dreamweaver software top tab menus like File, Edit, View, Insert, Modify, Format etc. these are menus font size too small in my laptop display so i am facing problem in development. I have try to resolve this issue through change to desktop resolution but after change the resolution of window property i have get only little bit change in font size of tab menus but i am not satisfied with this change if you have any other solution for this problem please reply me or email me on [personal information deleted by moderator]

Parveen KumarUnfortunately, the only way to change the font size in the Dreamweaver interface is by changing the display settings of your computer. On Windows, you can change the size of text and other items without changing the resolution by selecting Start > Control Panel > Display. I don't think there is an equivalent on a Mac.
If you find the size of the menu items a problem, I suggest that you submit a feature request through the form at https://www.adobe.com/cfusion/mmform/index.cfm?name=wishform. -
ESS sub-area links yield blank pages and error in log.
We have just activated ESS:Travel and Expense (T&E)and are having issues when accessing the links in the sub-area menus via the Portal. We are using the standard roles delivered in the Self-Service BP. The T&E iview page returns the T&E sub-menu. When we select for example "My Trips and Expenses" we get a blank screen. The entry below is then written to the defaultTrace.trc file.

We are able to access all links under the sub-area of T&E by accessing them using the XSS menu (<host>:<port>/webdynpro/dispatcher/sap.com/pcui_gp~xssutils/XssMenu. This menthod does not yield an entry to defaultTrace.trc file.
Because the links work via the XSS menu I would suspect the webdynpro and jco setup is correct -- which would bring me back to the Portal role -- however I don't see a configuration propery that would affect the behavior of the sub-area menus as those are delivered from the backend system.
As always...any help would be appreciated.
GregI've figured out my issue. I saw a similar post w/o resolution so I thought I would post mine. In the delivered SAP configuration for Travel Management the PCD Role URLs had a typo. In my case there was an extra period (see below). I updated the view V_T7XSSSERRES and removed the extra period from each of the Travel Management Resource Key PCD role URLs.

Area menus allow you to group together menus that contain a set of functions intended to perform a particular task in a company.
You can create your own SAP Customized Menu through Area menu.
You can add transactions to Favorities and and folder and sub folders to the SAP Menu. You can do this using transaction SE43.

Custom schema and custom functions, menus and responsibilities
Hi All,
My company has developed an integration for the EBS to enable third party software to create items and other objects. We are using a JDBC connector and call the underlying pl/sql APIs (like EGO_ITEM_PUB.PROCESS_ITEM) from Oracle. We have added some functions, menus and responsibilities to our EBS 12.1.1 installation in order to provide an access control mechanism for our JDBC integration since it connects to a db schema directly. We call FND_FUNCTION.TEST to check if the logged in user/responsibility has the function he wants to call assigned to him. We also plan to use a custom schema so that we do not have to connect to the apps schema directly because we think that our customer will not allow us to do that. What do you think?
I planed to use FNDLOAD to download all the function, menus and responsibilities in order to provide a script for our customer so that they can simply upload all the objects (menus...).
My problems/questions now are:
Should they upload those menus, functions and responsibilities into our custom schema or into the apps schema?
Are menus and responsibilities always defined in the apps schema?
In which schema are they defined if they are created in the GUI (oracle forms)?

4. Choose Insert entries.
