Area of screen on ipad 3 is reacting with out touching it

I have an ipad 3. an area of the touch screen is acting like i am pressing it when i am not even touching or trying to press another area on the screen I have rebooted it a few times it which helps for a short period of time then it acts up again. Can any one help

You might want to try the app Reflector - it allows you to project the iPad's screen onto the Mac through wifi & then you can record its screen.

With peer-to-peer AirPlay, your iOS device and Apple TV don't need to be on the same Wi-Fi network. If you have one of these products, you can use peer-to-peer AirPlay:

How to skip a selection screen mandatory field in debugging mode with out changing the code?

In my report there is two fields on selection screen, one is obligatory field , but i just want to execute the report(for testing per pus) with out entering the data for the mandatory field with out changing the code. could u let me know which event and how to debug the report. or else in debugging mode how can i change that field as non mandatory field.

If the value is not of importance how come it became obligatory in your program?
Any how you can do one thing...Put some value in your obligatory field, put a debugger point where you are interested in and use the pencil tool to change the value of the field while debugging.

Not from the iPhone. You would need the device in had. unless you are using Find My iPhone, then I guess you could wipe it.

Reset ipad to original settings with out password

This Ipad it was my daughter she hasn't been using it so much for 2 years. because she got an apple laptop. I got it, but it had all her info so I want it to do it fresh and I put it to reset to factory settings. Is asking to tell the owner to take out the device from the Icloud. my daughter doesn't use anymore the email link to it or icloud, she has been trying but not luck. Without the original discs, you really won't be able to do it. If you can find the install discs, you can then boot to the install disk, erase your Mac's hard disk, then do a fresh install of the OS, remove the disc and shut down at the point where it prompts you for user information. At that point, when your son starts up the system, setup should carry on and let him set up the box as if it were new.
Another way of doing this could be to set up an account for him on the box. Log into his account and delete yours. Subsequently, uninstall any and all applications that did not ship with it.
If you're really stuck for the install discs, you can try contacting Apple to see whether you can buy them. If Apple says no, then ifixit.com is your next stop. When ifixit.com decommissions a notebook for salvage parts, discs are available for resale. Specifiy the model and they'll show whether they have those discs in stock.

ios 7 is simply the operating system. Anything such as pictures facetime everything else involved with your apps etc, will still be compatible between the two devices.

Problems with the screen not reacting to my touch

Right before my problem happened, I was facetiming with my friend. Then I press the home button to do my password to unlock my ipad 2. However, when I try to do it, my ipad won't react when I touch it or scroll it. I tried reseting my ipad 2, but i have to scroll the button to do that, but that was the problem. I can't move anything on the screen. The buttons work just fine, so I don't think it is broken. Plz help sombody!
I have an extra problem that isn't related to apple, but i'm just putting it anyways. When I turn on my laptop, it just stops on the black page where the words come out right before the user screen. I tried turning it off, waiting for it, asking the people from the company about it (kinda), but it doesn't work. My dad thinks that the hard drive is broken or something, that was why, he said, that it couldn't get pass to the user screen. If that wasn't it than I hope somebody could explain it. Did you reboot the iPad?
Reboot the iPad by holding down on the sleep and home buttons at the same time for about 10-15 seconds until the Apple Logo appears - ignore the red slider - let go of the buttons.

Login into XI Developement and give SE37 Transaction. Then you give SXMS_ALERT_ERROR_RECEIVE and click 'display'.
Then you check for the methods CL_XI_ALERT HAS_ACTIVE_RULE, CL_XI_ALERT_UTIL GET_MDT_URL, CL_XI_ALERT CREATE_ALERT and make the changes according to service notes. If you dont find this methods in this function then you can try in SXMS_ALERT_ERROR_SEND.

My iPad has stopped connecting to my wifi and says No Internet Connection, even though I have 3 bars wifi and my laptop and iPhone in the same room are connected

Some things to try first:
1. Turn Off your iPad. Then turn Off (disconnect power cord for 30 seconds or longer) the wireless router & then back On. Now boot your iPad. Hopefully it will see the WiFi.
2. Go to Settings>Wi-Fi and turn Off. Then while at Settings>Wi-Fi, turn back On and chose a Network.
3. Change the channel on your wireless router (Auto or Channel 6 is best). Instructions at http://macintoshhowto.com/advanced/how-to-get-a-good-range-on-your-wireless-netw ork.html
4. Go into your router security settings and change from WEP to WPA with AES.
5. Renew IP Address: (especially if you are droping internet connection)
    •    Launch Settings app
    •    Tap on Wi-Fi
    •    Tap on the blue arrow of the Wi-Fi network that you connect to from the list
    •    In the window that opens, tap on the Renew Lease button

Thanks to everyone who responded and related subject helped. Holding the home button and power button simultaneously for 10-15 seconds does unlock the screen. I can now use my ipad again. However, a futher problem has arisen since updating to IOS6 and activating icloud at same time, Although not sure if its related. The problem is that when connected to my PC the itunes message appears 'Cannot read ipad'. It instructs you to restore but keeps timing out after about 1 hour. This maybe internet issue but can't understand why itunes cannot read my ipad. May need to completely erase all content & reset. Or any other suggestions why this has happened?
