Argh! iPhone 2.0 App Store and Apps are $%#'ed
So I was at one point, able to log into the App Store, and "purchase" free apps... now I cannot hit the "OK" button when it prompts me for my password... or cancel for that matter, have to hit the home button, goto iTunes, get the App, then sync it back.
That worked until 2 days ago, now I cannot even run ANY apps! I have unsync'ed them (effectively deleting them), re-sync'ed them (re-installing) and every app will show me the title screen for about .5 seconds, then back to the home screen... Aren't I glad I got the 2.0...
Anybody have any ideas or seen this yet?
ok. So after unsynching apps, re-authorizing iTunes, re-synching... The iPhone now can use the apps, but the store on the iPhone still will not let me hit the Ok button... So no updates for me

The problem Apps may need to be updated. Or maybe your iTunes account needs to just update itself on your iPhone. To do this, install a free App from the App Store on your iPhone. Tap App Store app on iPhone, select and install a free App. When that is done try the problem Apps to see if they work OK again.

Connect your iPod to any computer with iTunes installed, highlight your device and try syncing the apps only. If it doesn't work might have to restore through iTunes. With the new iTunes and iCloud beta, you can have the iTunes list what apps are missing on your device but if you had previously purchased in the past and then have iTunes install them. You should always get in the habit of backing up your iPhone whenever you do any firmware/OS updating/upgrading or transferring over to new device. I really really really really hope you can get back at least some of your old info. I will tell you this, I have been kicking myself in the butt for not routinely backing up my iPhone when my beautiful special iPhone 4 came up missing and had to revert back to my 3GS. iPhone 5 will be released in a few months so I am holding off on purchasing a new iPhone til then, not that I did so without reservation and a little bit of iPhone 4 withdraw.

Legality aside (I'm not a lawyer and have no opinion on the matter) in order to make a purchase of an iPhone 5 you would need to travel to a country where they are for sale and purchase it there. Be sure to get one that is officially unlocked or you would not be able to use it with your cell carrier. Be sure that your carrier supports use of the iPhone before you buy. Also note that the warranty of the iPhone is only valid in the country of purchase.
Appe does not ship outside of the countries where it sells the phones. -
I updated to iOS 7 but now that I am using my iphone, all my apps are gone. everything else has been recovered from i could except my apps. I have my apps backed up but i cant get them restored.
Right click on the .exe file and select run as admin. This will allow it to run all the processes it needs and should help it work. If the problem is not fixed you should try waiting till a new update, that often fixes ios issues.
On other problem could be a hardware issue, try a new cable and use it in a different USB socket. -

I dropped my iphone 4s in water and everything works but the backlight. I have heard rumors that I can take my damaged iPhone into an apple store and trade it in for a new phone and pay the difference. Is this true?

1) I have multiple accounts at the iTunes store and none are now associated with my purchases...I think because passwords have been associated with various id’s and I can’t log in and access those purchases. I want to get back to being able to use one id and password and be able to access those purchases.
2) When I upgraded my iPhone 3gs, to the latest version 5.0.1 (9A405), is when I noticed that i couldn’t update my applications. There are two names/accounts on the phone and prior to the update there was just the one. I have tried entering every conceivable password that I have ever used and get the incorrect password error every time. The apps on the iPhone are apparently associated with several/different accounts. I just want to get everything back to the way it was. One id and one password with purchases associated with just one account that can be updated on my computer as well as my iPhone.Hello sadiepix,

Only the carrier that the iPhone was locked to can unlock. There you go, hacking void any support from this forum.

No, there are no gurantees. The capabilitty exists to retrive deleted data from an iPhone, but like many things in life it is not 100% successful all the time. Be careful, there are a lot of scam artists out there. They take your money & retrive nothing. This guy is one of the best in the business, but he does not work for people in the private sector. Perhaps he can recommend a service to you. But, as already pointed out, you're looking at thousands of dollars out of pocket whether these folks are successful or not:

Apple, can you say why do you like to "kill" old iPhones??? i'am dissapointed. Please, fix IOS 8 on iPhone 4s and provide ability to have IOS 6 on iPhone 4. IOS 7 and 8 are awful laggy IOS versions on this devices.

I bought it in some mall here in our place..im from philippines.. im worried about this coz its different with other iphone at the back.. it says designed by apple in california..then its all korean letters at the bottom it says KCC-CMM-APA-A1387..i checked both serial number from the phone in the box and in the sim card slot and its all match, i checked it also in apple service and support coverage and it says : valid purchase, your product is eligible...and it shows i have 90 days technical support,and my repair and service coverage is active....pls help what model of iphone is this its working and i can sync to itunes,icloud and etc..thats what it says on the back on the image ia
