Argument Error

Ok I have gotten this far but it throws an Argument Error after the first sequence.
import fl.transitions.Tween;
import fl.transitions.TweenEvent;
import fl.transitions.easing.*;
var high = 375;
var low = 50;
var startPoint = 0;
function resizeBar(){
var widthPoint = Math.floor(Math.random() * (high - low)) + low;
var xScale:Tween = new Tween(boxOne, "width", None.easeNone, startPoint, widthPoint, 3, true);
startPoint = widthPoint;
xScale.addEventListener(TweenEvent.MOTION_FINISH, resizeBar);
resizeBar();
ArgumentError: Error #1063: Argument count mismatch on Untitled_fla::horizonalBars_1/resizeBar(). Expected 0, got 1.

your eventlistener is passing an argument.   if you really intend an endless loop, use:
import fl.transitions.Tween;
import fl.transitions.TweenEvent;
import fl.transitions.easing.*;
var high = 375;
var low = 50;
var startPoint = 0;
function resizeBar(e:TweenEvent=null){
var widthPoint = Math.floor(Math.random() * (high - low)) + low;
var xScale:Tween = new Tween(boxOne, "width", None.easeNone, startPoint, widthPoint, 3, true);
startPoint = widthPoint;
xScale.addEventListener(TweenEvent.MOTION_FINISH, resizeBar);
resizeBar();

    Added check for argument error DRM subsystem throws while generating a DRMContentInfo Object.
    Modified Paths:
        osmf/trunk/framework/MediaFramework/org/osmf/drm/DRMServices.as

    Well, I can tell you that this kind of error is not OS related, but rather a HW thing.  It happens where there is a general detection of something going wrong.  Sometimes it can happen randomly and might not be an indication of a problem.  But sometimes it can be caused by things that are improperly functioning within the system like bad capacitors.
    Unfortunately I don't really know what to do about such things except give you machine a proper inspection.  But if things are working fine, and continue to do so, I wouldn't worry about it.  If it becomes a regular occurance, then I'd worry.

    Hi,
    I am writing an IMAP to IMAP mailbox converter. I am testing a UW mailbox that I have approx. 1200 messages in to a MS Exchange 2007 Server. I am performing a javax.mail.Folder destFolder.appendMessages(sourceFolder.getMessages()). I transfer almost half the messages this why when i get the following exception. I have googled and not found any reference to it, nor does the protocol trace look bazaar :

    And then, when i logged into portal, i get the following message:

    That's all what i see in catalina.out.
    By the way, we are using Cisco CSS (Content Switch) for Load Balancing
    process.
    Behind CSS, there is apache server and application server installed on two
    servers which mentioned in this page
    http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/DOC/Sakai+2.4+Admin+Guide+-LoadBalancing+and+Scaling
    http://confluence.sakaiproject.org/confluence/display/DOC/Sakai+2.4+Admin+Guide+-LoadBalancing+and+Scaling
    as thin client .
    CSS DNS address = sucourse.sabanciuniv.edu
    App server DNS address = sakws1.sabanciuniv.edu and sakws2.sabanciuniv.edu
    It is enough to type sucourse.sabanciuniv.edu address in web browser.
    Their sakai.properties files are similar. However, there are following
    parameters that i didn't use in my sakai.properties file. May be i should
    use them. !!
    [email protected]
    [email protected]
    [email protected]
    Now, i have changed my connection type by connecting Campus VPN server with
    Checkpoint VPN client, i got my sakai course pages correctly via sakai
    portlet. However, in campus i had same problem today.
    So, like i said, the situation is changing due to unknown reason.
    From portlet, i clicked on any course, i get blank screen with followingaddress in web browser address bar.
    https://sucourse.sabanciuniv.edu/sakai-login-tool/container?sakai.session=02274ca6-fc19-413c-80d9-4332ae4e4499&ticket=ST-5342-bLIfR5lVs29HB1ZAeRrMA3bbmQtVWRJqQ6N-20
    That's all.
    Thank you for your response Charles !
    Regards

    The command that seems to be causing problems for Exchange is this one:
    A4 APPEND "Sakai-Dev List" (\Deleted \Seen NonJunk) "21-Aug-2007 16:37:20 -0400" {7024+}
    As far as I can see, there's nothing wrong with the syntax of that command.
    My first guess is that Exchange is unhappy with the flags. Possibly
    it refuses to append a message with the \Deleted flag set. If you're
    willing to modify the flags in the source mailbox, I would try turning
    off the DELETED flag. Or, try not copying deleted messages.
    If that doesn't work, the next thing to try is to get rid of all of the
    flags. You might want to copy the message into a local copy
    in order to lose all the flags from the original.

  • Argument error; the number of columns does not equal the number of parameters.

    I am using the Database Toolkit (Enterprise Connectivity) to check for a network connection and then send information from a local database to a SQL database on the network if needed.  In development of the code I continue to receive Error 1 and the Possible Reason(s) is "Argument error; the number of columns does not equal the number of parameters."  I am using the DBToolsSelectData.VI to retrieve data from the local MDB file and the DBToolsInsertData.VI to write it to the SQL file.  The collection of the data from the MDB file is successful and the connection and validation of the table and columns in the SQL file is also successful.  The error occurs when the Insert VI tries to build the query.  The number of columns being written (attempted) does match the number of columns in the data, they are both 16 string arrays.

    Ok, it's taken a bit, and I have a solution! It took a while to figure out what the DCT is doing, but it seems to be working now.
    The reason for the original error is that you were passing into the insert subVI an array of variants - which the input to the VI coerced into a single variant. You were getting the error because as far as the insert VI was concerned you were only passing it a single data value. The way to get around that was to create a cluster with one element for each column value, convert the cluster to a variant and pass the result to the insert VI - see attachment.
    In terms of the other modifications, I made a copy of the endurance.mdb file, emptied it and used it as the destination for the copy.

  • Invalid argument error in IE7

    I'm working on my first HTML5 site. And I'm getting an invalid argument error that's keeping it from loading all of the content on the page. It's telling me that the error is in line 256, but line 256 is an image tag.
    The page in question is here:
    http://jerauf.com/filmggp/locations-sub.html
    I'm thinking that it's a script but can't tell what the problem is.
    Can anyone help?

    Hello.
    <img src="image.jpg" height="120" width="120" alt="description" />

  • Invalid Argument Error

    I am getting above error on load of the JNLP file. When I access the URL for the JNLP, the JNLP file downloads (I can see the content using Ethereal) and WebStart does launch. So, I assume MIME type is OK and the download servlet is working, at least enough to serve up the JNLP.
    What makes this more curious is that it is a working configuration in Jetty. I can take the exact same application - drop it in Jetty, it works; drop the SAME file in Tomcat 4.1.27, it doesn't work.
    Anyone seen this?
    WS 1.2
    J2SDK 1.4.1_01 on both ends.
    Tomcat 4.1.27
    The error and log information is as follows.
    Error dialog/General Tab:
    An error occurred while launching/running the application.
    Category: Invalid Argument error
    Could not load file/URL specified: C:\Documents and Settings\mjf860\Local Settings\Temporary Internet Files\Content.IE5\2DQR21KT\cwms[1].jnlp
    The JNLP file does in fact NOT exist (the directory does, no JNLP files are in in it), despite the fact that I saw it go over the network to my box.
    The JNLPServetLog stuff:

    TIA,
    Mike

    I just found out by searching tomcat list that in your
    dynamic jnlp file you can set the cache-control to
    public using
    response.setHeader("Cache-Control", "public")
    This will allow Internet Explorer to cache the jnlp
    file and you won't get the exception.
    This way you can keep your jnlp file under a security
    constraint.I wasn't sure what was meant by "dynamic JNLP" or how to follow the above procedure, so I created a servlet (a JSP, actually) to implement the above workaround. It will serve JNLP files from a password-protected directory in a way that works for the Tomcat-to-Internet Explorer combination. It's posted below in case it can help anyone else.
    There are still a few things to watch out for: (1) the protection (the <auth-method> tag in your web.xml file) for the JNLP file must be BASIC--FORM will not work. (2) you will have to enter the password twice--once for the browse and again for Web Start.
    The servlet itself is enclosed below. If you have questions about it, please post them to this forum.

  • Getting 'Invalid argument' error while uisng OPEN DATASET. Help!

    Hi Experts,
       I am trying to read a file from a shared server location using OPEN DATASET as shown below.
    OPEN DATASET file_name FOR INPUT IN TEXT MODE ENCODING UTF-8 MESSAGE msg.
    The file_name i gave is '
    CNSGN-PRE-DM.COM\FUNCTIONAL\INVENTORY.CSV'.
    The program compiles perfectly. But when I run the program I am getting 'Invalid argument' error. I have checked the authorization to the server, file name, file availability and everything is fine.
    Strangely this code was working fine a week ago.
    What could be the problem? Kindly help me!
    Thanks
    Gopal

    Hi Chndrasekhar,
            You mean to say the we cannot use OPEN DATASET for reading file in shared server location. For example a shared folder in my PC.
    Is there something wrong in the file name path I have given? It started with '//'. Do I have to start the file path wih 'file://..'?
    Thanks
    Gopal

  • Javax.mail.MessagingException: A5 BAD Command Argument Error. 12;

    This error appeared on mailboxes hosted on Exchange 2007. It happens when a folder is searched with 11+ OR terms. It works fine with <= 10 subjectTerm items OR'ed together. The search term does not matter. The mailboxes are migrating from Exchange 2003 where the problem does not occur. I tested 51 OR'ed subject terms against the 2003 mailbox and it works fine. I didn't test beyond 51 terms.
    I upgraded to JavaMail 1.4.2 and the problem still exists.
    I'm not sure if this is a JavaMail bug or an error with Exchange 2007.

  • "Invalid argument" error when attempting to use Linked Table Manager

    I am trying to import a text file into a linked table in Access (the linked table resides in SQL Server). I run through the import wizard which always ends with an 'Invalid Argument' error and claims the import was unsuccessful but when I query the table
    all the data has been imported. How do I get this error to stop?
    Any suggestion will be appreciated

    Sounds like something is not hooked up right, or setup right.  Can you do a Compact and Repair and try again?
    http://www.fmsinc.com/Microsoftaccess/compact/compact-on-close.html
    http://www.databasedev.co.uk/compacting-and-repairing-ms-access.html
    C & R is really done to defragment a DB, but it can 'fix' other things as well.
    Also, see this.
    http://www.solvexia.com/help/workingwithaccessfiles/how-to-import-data-from-text-file-to-access-table/
    http://www.databasejournal.com/features/msaccess/article.php/3853531/Working-with-external-text-files-in-MS-Access.htm
    Knowledge is the only thing that I can give you, and still retain, and we are both better off for it.

  • Bex Designer 3.5: An unexpected 'invalid procedure call or argument' error

    Hi,
    Our Bex environment has both 3.5 and 7.0 queries and objects.
    Recently Bex Query Designer 3.5 started crashing when we expand on the Restricted Key Figures. It works fine in 7.0 designer. And, expanding the Calculated Key Figures works fine in both 3.5 and 7.0
    It only happens on 1 multiprovider, which has more than 100 RKFs.
    The error message is: An unexpected 'invalid procedure call or argument' error occured in wdbrlog.
    On clicking Continue, the next message is: Run-time error '-2147221499 (80040005)'; Fatal Error - Terminating
    The same error is happening in Test, UAT and Production environments for this 1 multiprovider.
    I resinstalled Business Explorer client software, but no change.
    Any suggestions on how to fix or approach fixing this?
    Thanks!

    Problem was resolved by opening a note with SAP. Their response is pasted below:
    "The problem has been solved. The reason for the termination in Query Designer was actually the fact the one Restricted Key Figure somehow has lost it's technical name.
    The problematic object is RKF SAP Plan Value (4L9J85WYTCFK4DEA63PD2R4V7)The user given name of this object was not available in the database table RSZCOMPDIR and was actually required in the Query Designer. The application was not able to create a tree of expanded RKFs having no technical names.
    In general, this error can be fixed by the special check program analyze_rsz_tables which is supposed to try to find out this missing technical name. But in this particular case the repair procedure in the program has failed as no traces or information what this missing name could be was available. Therefore I just fixed this issue manually by entering a new technical name for this object."

  • ADO Error: 0x00000001 Argument error. One of the column names specified is blank.

    I am writing a database program and have come across this error -
    ADO Error: 0x00000001
    Argument error. One of the column names specified is blank.
    I have tried everything I can think of and have no idea what to try next.
    The VI that the error is occuring in (attached written in LV 2011) allows the user to enter in the details of a new user. It then looks up this user to get the ID (primary key) of the user which will be used in another step of the program. The VI writes to the database fine but then comes back with the above error when using the SELECT query. All columns in the database have data in them. Also when i use a differnt VI that just looks up the user/customer it works fine.
    I have tried deleting all the code and copying the code from the simpler (look up only) VI but I still get the same error.
    I created an indicator for the concatenated text to make sure the query was right and it appears to be fine. So now I am stumped. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Thanks

    The query "appears" fine. Well, obviously it isnt' fine. The database is telling you that.
    What is the SELECT query you are sending?

  • Airport extreme: Invalid Argument errors over satellite connection

    Question 1: Have you observed problems with Apple equipment getting high error rates over high latency connections such as satellite connections?
    Question 2: Do you know of any reason why Apple equipment is more likely to exhibit this behaviour?
    We have a shack in the country that has a 10Mb/sec satellite internet service.  The satellite in question is the Australian NBN service which I believe uses an Optus satellite.
    We get frustratingly large numbers of errors from Safari: "Safari can't open the page <insert random url here> The operation could not be completed. Invalid argument."
    The message in the browser is always the same.  It can take half-a-dozen retries to get a page to display.  On average, aroiund 30% of connection attempts yield this error.  It seems to be load dependent, and at the moment it is happening less often - maybe one in 10 requests are failing.  It is currently 2 Jan, around midday and most Australians near the coast will be at the beach, and those inland have 50 degree temperatures predicted so they will be wallowing in the mud-hole that was once the dam, so I expect the satellite load is rather low.
    My ISP says they have around a dozen customers reporting this problem and they all use Apple gear.
    Observations:
    I was able to open a VPN connection to one of my customers (after several attempts) and the VPN connection worked flawlessly for the duration of hte session which was several hours.  Meanwhile, the mrs was cussin' away about invalid argument errors.
    Once a page starts loading, it generally finishes.  This seems to be independent of the level of complexity.  So once a page gets going, it keeps going.  Selecting a link from it, however, will likely result in another error.
    Pings are returning in around 1 second.
    Transfer rate is good - close to the promised 10Mbit/sec.  Response time, of course, is aweful compared to a wired or 3G connection.  However it is acceptable provided a response is actually received.
    Gear is: A couple of netgear routers in point to point mode bridging to the Airport Extreme in the house which is the main router.  There are a couple of Airport expresses about the place doing other stuff.  Terminal equipment includes iPads x 2, macBooks x 2, iPhones x 2.  Everything gets a master reset periodically when the power goes off,  and the problem persists.  All devices experience the problem.
    Thank you for your help

    I have had my airport extreme for over a year and comcast even longer than that. For some reason my airport now says it has a invalid ip address. I plugged my modem directly into my imac and the internet connection is fine. I have power cycled everything multiple times with the same result. I even reset my airport extreme and created a new network. Nothing is working please help!
    Does your cable modem have any sort of battery backup that would prevent it from resetting fully during a power cycle?

  • HT1338 Command Argument Error. 11

    I am using Mac Office on a relatively new MacBook Pro running OSX 10.8.2 which is all updated and running well.
    However, just lately I keep getting the above error message;
    "COMMAND ARGUMENT ERROR.11"
    appear every tme I open Outlook, the message will repeat for all email accounts on outlook.
    I have cleared everything out of any junk any trash, cleared cookies anything I can think of.
    Does anyone know what this is, and how to get rid of??

    Absolutely fantastic advice.  Thank you so much.  I was receiving this error message and had read various scary stories about needing to reinstall Outlook and deleting identities etc.  The simple step you advise resolved the issue.  Thanks again

    I found out that you would received this message when attempting to send a big file, if you deleted it goes to the deleted folder at the IMAP server so the exchange will still send you those message back. I got rid off the file from the deleted and sent items in the exchange server and it solved my problem.
