ArgumentError #2005:Parameter type 0 is incorrect... any idea ?

I'm working on a prototype with 10 states and basic interactions.
I don't know exactly what i've done on my last screens, i'm still able to run the project but, some graphics are missing !
Do you have any ideas, see the Adobe Flash Player 10 error message.

Thks for your answer, but since my post i've tried several options to fixed this issue.
First, i rearanged all the layers by grouping UI elements. I've started from scratch without importing a file from Photoshop or Illustrator.
So, it's little bit tricky with FC because you don't have all the options to reorganize the layers like Ps or Illustrator.
Then, i've cleaned up all the graphics and used the Optimization graphics feature.
I have also remove the last states added, and recreate the screens.
Also, i've run the project more often and not after 2 or 3 hours.
Finally, i resolved this issue by myself, like a big boy :-)
Otherwise, FC is really a great tool and i use it everyday.
I'm really waiting the next release.

Try from a computer. You may have to reset your password. If you can't get the comfirmation email then you can use the secret question. Once you can log in then you change the the email address.

We recently upgraded BI Publisher to 10.1.3.4. I saw new parameter type "search" in parameter section, when creating report. whats the use of it? How to use it ? like other parameter type Text, Menu,Hidden, Date.
I couldn't find any help or release notes on this !

AyapsI started looking into this parameter type when our drop-down for customer numbers went from 13,000 (manageable) to 45,000 (completely unmanageable).
I imagine this is supposed to mimic the effects of a "Long List" type LOV in Oracle Applications (as I had inquired about in [this thread|http://forums.oracle.com/forums/thread.jspa?threadID=895521&stqc=true|Large List of Values (LoV) hangs. Is there an equivalent for a long list?]), but performance-wise, "Search" does not seem to be any more efficient that using the "Menu" type LOV. Even with the help of having a partial string with a wildcard to match, the "Search" still takes too long to pull up to be of any use to us. -

I have not been able to get to the good part of configuring the ZBF.
I've looked over several configuration examples and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong, since I'm not able to see the command 'parameter-map' under the 'policy-map urlfiltering'

I am having the same problem. I have seen a few diffenent configuration examples and they all show adding the "parameter type urlfpolicy trend parm-map-name" command but it doesn't exist, at least in 15.2(3)T1 and I see it listed in the the IOS documentation for 15.2. Maybe they forgot it :-)
I guess I will open a TAC case as I do not want to downgrade...
I will keep you posted if I find the answer.

The reports get rendered correctly after migration but I experience some lack of performance (quite significant actually). These exceptions probably refer to dataset (query) parameters rather than to report parameters because of their numbers and total amount.
The first exception "Cannot set preparedStatement null" seems to be thrown for all parameters that are initially nulls. The second exception "Cannot get parameter type" seems to be thrown for all parameters (twice for some).
The second one probably has something to do with this bug: https:\//bugs.eclipse.org/bugs/show_bug.cgi?format=multiple&id=384925 Although it is declared to be fixed in an earlier Birt runtime version (4.2.1) and I'm using a later one (4.4.2).
The first one gets critical if I change the Oracle jdbc driver to the new and the most appropriate one (ojdbc7.jar), which should be a better choice because I have Java 7. Older driver ojdbc6.jar renders the report but writes the exception to the logfile, the newer one produces the following in browser:

The exceptions raise even in such a simple case. Of course it doesn't take minutes to show, but concerning my report with several datasets taking more than 200 parameters in total, the response time drastically raised from about 30-40 seconds up to 3 minutes.

SQL Server 2005 collation type for the Discovery System?

The SQL Server 2005 Eval 180 day license expired on our Discovery System. I un-installed the Eval copy and installed a licensed SQL Server 2005 EE instance. I searched for the SQL Server collation, and found SAP Note 600027, which recommended Binary order for use with the 850 Multilingual Character Set as the collation.
I attached the existing databases using the script provided with the Discovery system. Started up the SAP ERP instance. I then tried to log into the ERP 300 and got a START_CALL_SICK error message. From the error message details I find, "DB CHECK Wrong Server collation. Perform SQL2005 after upgrade steps. Please see note 126973". Note 126973 seemed to refer me to note 799058. However this talks about upgrading....
It appears to me I simply chose the wrong SQL Server 2005 collation type when installing the licensed coipy of SQL Server.
What collation type should be used?

Jay WarlingAfter reviewing what I did, it appears I neglected to detach the databases before un-installing SQL Server 2005 evaluation copy.
I did stop the ERP system via the SAP MMC before un-installing but did not detach the databases.
I believe the collation is actually correct, but I am stumped as how to proceed with the START_CALL_SICK error message.

ERROR: Parameter type of 'ReturnMessages' must be a build-in type
Hello!
I create an outbound and inbound flug from a view to another embedded controller interface view. The plug has couple parameters type string. But there is a parameter named "ReturnMessages" which hold an array of errors. The type of this parameter is ArrayList of java.Ultil.ArrayList.
When i do a build, it gives me an error: Parameter type of 'ReturnMessages' must be a build-in type. The build-in type is the primative type like string, int, date, ... but not ArrayList.
1) How do i fix this issue?
2) Is it some kind of bug of the NDS tool? I use the SS15 support pack. The reason i wonder if it is a bug or not because the tool does allow me to pick a parameter type ArrayList and it gives me an error saying that i can't use it.

I think EP6.0 wont support it for ArrayList.
But there is a workaround for this.
For that you can use String(All Error Msgs) with delimiters(@@@). But in the response view, create a StringTokenizer using this String with Delimiters.

I am a novice to fortran programing but want to use existing fortran code
within Labview. I have Digital Visual Fortran 5.0A and have suceeded in making
an elementary .DLL and calling it with the Labview call library function.
However, this only works if I set the parameter types to 'Adapt to Type'.
If I try to specify the types Labview crashes with an invalid page fault.
This particular example has only real parameters. I have tried with arrays
and have even less sucess as the 'Adapt to Type' option does not even work
in these cases.
Any help or explanation would be most appreciated.

First of all when passing arrays you need to define them before passing
them to the call library node. So use the init tool before hand to allocate
memory for the array before passing it (This causes a lot of crashes if not
done correctly).
Secondly, the type of call the dll uses is important. Usually you can set
the dll fucntions to have the standard call and you then configure the call
library node to take this into account.
Thirdly, you need to find out how fortran passes parameters. I cannot
remember enough of my fortran to help. But, for example if all values are
passed by reference then configure all your call library parameters as
(*varname). Otherewise by value they would be (varname). In the example
above if they are not passed by reference then you will not receive any
valid value in "c" on return from the subroutine.
Fourthly, some function calls in some languages return values by default
even though the standard way of accessing them might not use the return
value. Check out whether fortran is returning a void function, otherwise
you might need to set up a return in the call library node.
Lastly, make sure that the types match in the parameters. For example is
your int 32 or 16 bit by default?

I don't know how to define return type and parameter type in

thanks a lotMy understanding is that if something is not in the IDL definition, then as far as the CORBA system is concerned it doesn't exist.
Therefore any methods you create in a class that implements an IDL defined interface, that are outside that interface, are completely free and outside the CORBA system.
The parameters and return types of these 'local native' methods should be java classes. All methods and variables outside the IDL spec will only be visible to the local JVM.

I have Adobe CS6 Design Standard (MAC). I have had it about a year and a half and use it a ton! Just yesterday while I was using Photoshop, I clicked to use the type tool, the "initializing type tool" box popped up then a few seconds later the whole program crashed. I tried opening it back up and every time I did it just kept crashing. I restarted and shut down my computer, but still no solution. I even uninstalled the program then reinstalled. Same thing. All of my other tools work just fine (brush tool, eraser, crop, etc.). Also, when I try to open up a .psd file the program crashes as well.
I tried searching the internet for solutions, but couldn't find much. One suggestion was to delete the Adobe Photoshop program settings file, I did that but it still didn't work. After each crash a report would be sent to Adobe, then another window would pop up saying that Adobe has found a solution for the recent crash. There is a link that says "please CLICK HERE for further details" but the link doesn't take me anywhere. It just doesn't work!
Has anyone had this happen to them? Any ideas on how to fix it? I really need to get this up and running again!!!This is a user to user forum and Adobe Staff does drop by.
First thing to try is Reset the Type Tool by right-clicking on its' icon in the Options bar.
If you still have problems, it could be related to fonts. Here is a step by step troubleshooting help doc for that.

I have Microsoft Word for Mac 2011, version 14.3.1. When I try to open a document, an error occurs, says file type is "blocked from opening in this version." This was NOT immediately after a version update. Any ideas? Thank you.
