Array Member stopped responding, but was not dropped from NLB
We have had a standalone TMG array running for ~2 years now and recently had an issue come up we haven't seen before. Some users started complaining that all of our sites were unreachable. It would not even load the Forms Based Auth pages from the TMG server.
It would just spin, then time out. After investigation, it appeared 1 of the array members was not responding to requests, but was still in the NLB pool and trying to process requests.
The only symptoms I saw on the problematic array member were:
1- The servers was using 100% of the ram. They have 8GB allocated, and have never gone over 6GB.
2- There were 'Intrusion Detection' warnings about an all port scan attack from the TMG server to itself. So array member 1 was warning about a scan attack from a it's own public IP.
The issue was fixed with a reboot, but now I need to figure out the cause of this issue, and figure out a way to detect when it happens again.

As you mentioned, the RAM/memory usage is 100%. Did you see that in Task manager? Can you also see any app/process is using multiple memory?
In addition, I understand that TMG detected an all port scan attack from its external interface. Which traffic is routed via that external IP address? Maybe it is due to an IP spoofing.

Hold the Sleep and Home button down for about 10 second until you see the Apple logo. -
Every time I try to download anything firefox stops responding and will not do anything until I restart it. Can I revert back to a previous version, or is there a fix for it? When I restart firefox, then the download continues and all is well until I try to download something new (which I do quite often).

Part of my iPad screen display does not show. It was not dropped and neither is the screen broken. I was advised to see the local service provider for a diagnosis.
I had finally managed to find time to find a local service provider last week (not easy) and was disappointed to be advised of Apple's policy of one for one exchange i.e. they wont repair and said that i would have to replace with a whole unit. As my unit is no longer under warranty, it meant that I had to pay for the full price of a new unit!
I might as well have paid for the latest new unit but since my unit is only 2 years old at most, it would be a great waste of money.
How can this be? Does this mean apple's product is inferior and do not last since warranty is only for one year?
I sincerely hope there is a favourable solution otherwse my money is flushed down the drain.
HELP!!!I was using my iPad last night, shut the power off and when I turned it on this morning 2/3 of the screen is not working. It looks like the pandalela picture. What is the answer to fix this; is this a screen issue or and electronics issues. Has anybody else experienced this?

My iPhone 5 was not dropped recently however I went to use it and the screen was black, I plugged it in and nothing happened. When you call it it goes right to voicemail. The power button on it has never worked it always turns on when plugged in... Any ideas?
Are you certain that the battery has not run out? Have you kept it plugged into a wall outlet for at least 30 minutes to see if it is just needing to be charged?
If it does not come on after being plugged in for 30 minutes or so, then without a functional Power button you cannot reset it, so you are going to have to try to put it into Recovery mode and restore it:

You may not even be able to do this since you cannot proactively turn it off, but you can try.

Display driver has stopped responding but has recovered ....
I have just rebuilt my system which is now
Windows 7 (64 bit)
Photoshop CS4 11.0.1 (64 bit) ( open GL)disabled in preferences)
Core I7 950
graphics card Gianward nividia gtx 285
Photoshop is installed on OCZ vertex SSD
File info on Western digital caviar black
Mother board ASUS rampage gene
I print to 3 printers incuding an Epson 7900
I am not having any problems till it comes to printing my photos ..
When I print to any of the printers with "print preview " enabled I get the message "display driver has stopped responding but has recovered ...."
The Microsoft event ID = 4101
The screen goes black and remains so for a few seconds before it returns ...
Sometimes I am able to get the printer to go ahead and print... sometimes it wont and I have to start the whole print process again..
Needless to say this is irritating ..( by the way this happens with both of my Epson Printers ..the other is an 3880
I have just downloaded the latest drivers for both printers and the latest Nvidia drivers ... the problem remains
The ASUS probe indicates that all teperatures are within an acceptable range..
I would be most gratefull if some one could help with a solution ?It really depends on what drivers windows uses by default for you. On older versions (vista, xp, etc) it would default to Standard VGA driver which is there only for compatibility purposes so it's barely using the video card but if i remember correctly win7 tends to use drivers from ati/nvidia's site for video cards (not the latest version but still a major step up from Standard VGA).
See if you can enable OpenGL drawing in Photoshop. If you can and you don't get any funky stuff (broken cursors for the brush tool and the like) then there shouldn't be any problem with using those drivers. -

I was searching on the internet and my pc froze up for a couple of minutes then a message popped up stating display driver stopped responding but recovered successfully.
What caused this to happen? Is it a bad driver? Is there a fix?

I saw your post regarding the display driver stopped working error message. This can be caused a number of things, too many programs or visual effects going on or the GPU taking more time then permitted to display graphics or you just might need a newer driver.
Let's look at reinstalling your graphics driver. For that I will need to know what your product number is.

One possibility, is a strange occurence when applying the big 10.5.8 combo, most people have to Repair Permissions twice in a row, then reboot. -

I have a OSX IMAC Version 10.8.5. I got pages at the same time I purchased this computer. I use a document to write all my passwords. Seems like when I E-mail myself the document from pages, I have not been able to type in the document, it acts like it is locked. I checked all the "lock" and "unlock" fields, and none of them were locked. I notice the document says PDF. How do I correct this? Seems like I've tried everything. If you can help, that would be great!

1st-I was able to log into my account but was not able to open any applications, tried another account and same thing. was able to log out and restart but now am unable to use mouse. g5 dual core, can't remember the os without seeing it.
Could be many things, we should start with this...

Then try a Safe Boot, (holding Shift key down at bootup), run Disk Utility in Applications>Utilities, then highlight your drive, click on Repair Permissions, reboot when it completes.
(Safe boot may stay on the gray radian for a long time, let it go, it's trying to repair the Hard Drive.)

You'll need to do an Assumption of Liability. The parent that is the account owner and your boyfriend will both have to be at the store to do this. Apple Magic Mouse responds but does not want to click to web links, but gives options instead, go back, look up, save, etc? Changed batteries but does not solve the mouse problem. I click all over the page and it continues to provide options and link is indicated in blue, but have to keep trying until it finally let me continue.
Are you sure you are clicking on the left side of the mouse, rather than somewhere in the middle (and probably closer to the right side)?
