Art work for Albums/songs

How and where do i get album Art work for my Album/tracks ????

Generally all you need to do is fill in an appropriate Album Artist. For more details see my article on Grouping Tracks Into Albums, in particular the topic One album, too many covers.

    Go to google and search for the artwork.  When you find it, save it to your computer.  Right click the album and select get info.  Drag the image you saved to the empty box for album art.

  • Art work for a whole play list

    Hi
    I have lots of songs in a play list i want to know how to assign an art work for all of them
    in one step instead of assigning image to each song one by one
    Kindest Regards

    I too have the exact same problem. It appears to be an error in the RSS feed generated by iWeb.
    I found a link in the XML file for the "background" artwork from the iWeb template I chose to use. I replaced that line of code with location of the artwork I want to appear on iTunes Music Store.

    Alas to no avail. Despite repeatedly pinging the Music Store it persists in using the background graphic even though the RSS feed no longer contains a link to that file.
    All attempts to contact Apple about this have gone unanswered.
    HELP.

    I don't think the list style transfers. Copy and paste the text in to Mail, select it and then choose "Insert Numbered List" as a work around.

  • I am having trouble adding art work for itunes 12.0.1.26

    I am having trouble adding art work for itunes 12.0.1.26. Trying to add artwork after you go into "get info" and then "add artwork" doesn't work. Can anyone help. BTW, went into the authorization edit and gave my user id permission to modify things as was suggested in one posting, but that didn't work either.

    thanks a lot

    I have the portable BOSE sound dock and after updating my ipod to ios7 the remote control of the dock only works for the volume but doesnt work for skipping songs....Is there a solution to this?

    Have you went to Bose"s support site?
    Sometimes this works
    - Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
    Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
    least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - Reset all settings
    Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
    All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.
    - Restore from backup. See:
    iOS: How to back up
    - Restore to factory settings/new iOS device.
    However, sometimes an iOS update breaks compatibility and you will have to wait for an firmware update for the Bose or an iOS update.

  • Art work for song title

    Hi All
    I wonder is there a tool on that can be used to search for art work based on artist and song title rather that album.
    Surly there must be something out there that can do this rather simple task, or is it that simple!
    Thanks

  • Album Art works for most, but not all

    I was reading previous forums on the subject, but no clear answer was given..
    The album art shows up fine in itunes and my library and works for most of my music on my ipod, but how come some album's art does appear? I have it set manually and select 'Get Info' then 'Artwork' and add it from there, then drag in the finished product to my ipod. I've been doing that and it works fine for most of the albums, but every so often, the album art will not appear on my ipod. Am I doing something wrong? I take them all from the same source (amazon.com) but it makes no sense to me how some randomly don't appear.
    I tried deleting the artwork and re-adding it, but nothing happened again. If you could answer why it works for most but not all or how I can get the album art to appear for the ones it will not by re-doing something, it would be appreciated. thanks.

    I encountered the same problem in the beginning. When I compared the size of the original images, the working ones seemed to be smaller in general, so I reduced the size of all covers I intended to upload on the pod to 300x300 pixels.
    This seemed to work - for 2 days. I bought the pod on friday, had pictures on sunday, but on Monday (after the first time the pod was fully discharged) none were left left.
    So I ended searching this forum for related problems...
    And decided to join my problem to this entry.

  • Get Artwork Option Does Not Work For Albums Not on ITMS

    There are some albums I have that do not work with the Get Missing Artwork Option now available in iTunes 7. For example, the iTunes Music store has the soundtrack to Kill Bill Vol. 2, but not 1. Is there anyway to have iTunes automatically get me the missing artwork for Vol. 1?
    Also, I keep my music on an external hard drive. This drive is where I import my music to, can I set it so that the artwork iTunes automatically gets will be sent to my External Hard Drive, (my E: drive), instead of my C: drive?

    Steve Jobs said at the Apple Event that iTunes 7 could only add art work from what the iTunes Store carried.
    The easiest way to get the art work you want is to copy the album image from amazon, or some other site, and drop it on the album inside of iTunes. There are some 3rd party tools out there that do this for you, but I haven't found one I really liked.

    The art work is added to the song files themselves, and do not reside in a different location.

  • ITunes 11 'Up Next' not working for album

    When I click on the small arrow and select 'Add to Up Next' for an album, nothing happens to the Up Next list.  Nothing is added.   When I do this for a song, it does add the song just fine.   It's just not working for the album.  Anyone else seeing this?

    Make sure the tracks are active (check box to the left of track when looking at songs in a list). I ran into this on a number of albums that I had previously deactivated(unchecked) so they would be skipped in playlists/iTunes DJ. If they are not checked they can only be played or added individually as you are discribing.
    It is also possible to re activeate multiple tracks by rt-click to pull up menu. There you can check/uncheck selected or just 'Add to Up Next" directly.
    hope that helps.

    How can I restore the previous verson?

    Hi,
    I have just tried this and it worked. I found the image via google, opened up get info on itunes then dragged image into artwork box.
    As far as I can tell this works as it has always worked.

  • Art work for my podcast didn't upload to iTMS

    I used GB and iWeb's podcast template to produce and post my first podcast. Everything went okay, except that the artwork did not load. Instead of the art work that I designed, a portion of the background for my iWeb podcast page shows up as the artwork.
    Here's copy of the URL on iTMS for my podcast: http://phobos.apple.com/WebObjects/MZStore.woa/wa/viewPodcast?id=135304131&s=143 441
    Could someone explain to how I can fix this.

  • Genius doesn't work for any songs

    When I want to start genius of any song, there always shows either "this song does not have enough related sons to create a Genuis playlist" or "Genius is unavailable for the song" even for the "most famous songs". Now I am so frustrated that I never know what this product really does. Does anybody has the same problem?
    Thx a lot.

    I've found a lot of threads in this forum with the exact same issue.  Can ANYONE create genius playlists from songs from the following albums?
    Ben Folds - Lonely Ave
    The Decemberists - The King Is Dead
    Sufjan Stevens - The Age of Adz

  • Can't get album art to work for 1 song albums?

    Basically I've got this one song which doesn't come from an album it's just on it's own. I have the artwork for it, and I want it in cover flow. When I do right click -> get info on an album with multiple songs, there's a blank square on one of the tabs for artwork. However, if I do this for my album with one song, I don't get that option.
    I tried adding another song and then adding the artwork to both together (I put them with the same album name) but when I deleted the second song, the artwork also disappeared.
    I can't use ID3 tags because i'ts a .wav file so I'm not sure what to do. Any help would be much appreciated!
    Thanks
    Owen

    you have to use the function inside a PL/SQL.
    SQL> create or replace function trydbms(nocare number) return varchar2 is
      2  begin
      3    dbms_output.enable(100000);
      4    dbms_output.put_line('hello');
      5    return('done');
      6  end trydbms;
      7  /
    Function created.
    SQL> set serveroutput on;
    SQL> declare
      2   vStr varchar2(10);
      3  begin
      4   vstr := trydbms(1);
      5  end;

  • IPod Album Art Scrambled for Many Songs

    For some odd reason, when I recently connected my iPod to iTunes -- I have the latest software versions for the iPod and iTunes -- I noticed that many of the songs are displaying album art for the wrong albums. For example, all the songs from one of my Aerosmith albums is displaying the artwork for one of my J.S. Bach albums. Not the same thing!
    Has anyone run into a similar problem? Does anyone have a solution?
    Regards,
    Keith
    P.S. For the record, the album art displays correctly in iTunes; it's wrong only on the iPod.

    If your iPod is set to update automatically then try this:
    1. Connect your iPod
    2. Disable "Display album artwork" in iPod>Music tab and click Apply.
    3. Syncronise the iPod with iTunes.
    4. Re-enable "Display album artwork" in iPod>Music tab and click Apply.
    5. Syncronise the iPod again.
