Art-work Problems

I have downloaded 20 Music Tracks with all the Art work from a legit Website.
When Inport the Tracks into I-TUNES, The art work doesn’t show up in I-TUNES
I always downloaded music, with the art work and the art work, all ways shows up in I tunes,
But this time the art work has not been transferred to I-TUNES
I have never had a problem before, is there a reason why the Art work has not transferred over, even though its apart of the Track

If your iPod is set to update automatically then try this:
1. Connect your iPod
2. Disable "Display album artwork" in iPod>Music tab and click Apply.
3. Syncronise the iPod with iTunes.
4. Re-enable "Display album artwork" in iPod>Music tab and click Apply.
5. Syncronise the iPod again.

Itunes match sync album art work problem and poor quality art work issue

Hi There,
I have two issues with apple itunes and itunes match:
I seem to have a number of albums with poor quality artwork, now i have gone through the removed downloaded artwork and the right click and select the art work toggle box to remove the art work, after doing this I then ask to get the album cover from Itunes indervidually and high quality art work is down loaded and looks great for around 10-20 minutes then it seems to update slowley and revert to the old poor quality art work. Any Ideas? A simular thing that happens is that some art work that ive added manually is deleted. I have also gone into the itunes folder and deleted the album art work folder to force it to download new art work. Is there any way to lock in the art work that you know is good?
Itunes match after making changes to itunes albums I have then updated itunes match and my work is undone? This maybe complaations or album coers any ideas.
I am using itunes version 11.01
I have looked through the forum and read meany feeds about album covers but I havent found one that is reverting covers.

Still having ipod album art work problems

My IPOD SHOWS NO ALBUM ARTWORK! I don't know why. I have the checkbox under itunes selected "display album artwork on IPOD" I contacted itunes support and they never help with anything. they are completely worthless. They directed me back here, to the forums, for help. They have no answers. I've tried nearly everthing. I've restored my ipod many times over. I've also tried deselecting that checkbox under itunes then resyncing my ipod. And its still a no go. I think that I'm missing some files on my ipod that enables my ipod to show the album artwork. Can anyone help me out?

I had the same problem all you have to do is connect your ipod then click the options for your ipod then un tick the show album art then update your ipod, disconnect it then re connect it and click the options again then tick the album artwork box unpdate again and viola everything works smooth from then on mine has been perfect since i did it last week

Art Work Problem

Sorry - it's me again. I need to replace album artwork with something else (I messed up in the first place). How do I do this? I've tried dragging the new image over the old one but that doesn't work. I've tried copying and pasting but that doesn't work either. Cutting and deleting the incorrect aretwork does nothing.

Start by removing the incorrect artwork. Right click on the file you want to remove the artwork from, choose Get Info then the Artwork tab, click on the image and press the delete button then OK. To remove from multiple items, highlight the adjacent tracks in your selection (click on the first in the list, hold down the shift key and click on the last), right click and choose Get Info, choose yes when you are asked if you want to edit multiple items, tick the box beside the small empty artwork window about halfway down on the right. (if the songs aren't adjacent to each other but spread through out the playlist or library hold down the CTRL key and click on each of the songs you want to highlight). Once you've removed the incorrect artwork add new artwork as you've been doing before.

Thanks for getting back. Hadn't got round to re uploading the amended feed. I just did it now.
The only thing is, Feed Validator doesn't like it because of the picture size, and a couple of other things, it reeds the following:

Problem changing art work

I have been to the link posted here . clicked on the tune gone to edit and get info go to artwork.
Iv imported deleted dragged and added art work. It stays in the Bottom left of the window but the art work by the tune changes to something els or stays the same . Giving an EG put in AC DC and it show up Buork or something other then.
And the art work does is the same in cover flow. How to fix this?

Same here: since upgrading to 8.1, all albums containing multiple cover art, show anything but the frontcover. It's not always the last one being shown: when you've imported more than two, it could be one in the middle as well. I've noticed when you flip through the art and put it on the first (front cover), then go to another song, and then return to the first one, it seems to have fixed the problem. But when you check it a little later, it has the same bug again.
I'm wondering if it has anything to do with an issue that I'm having already for a long time: Usually I add the art this way: I select all songs of an album, press CMD+I (Get Info), and then I drag the pics in the artwork square. Here you should first add the last one, and then the rest in the right order, if you want them to appear in the right order. So if you have 5 pics, then you first drag 5 and then 1-2-3-4 into the Info window. I've always done it like that, and I've been wondering for a long time now why it works like this, never really found an answer.
Could it be that they fixed this weird importing order issue now, but that it now affects all albums with art imported that way ? Just an idea...

My art work isn't matching the song on my ipod 5, can anyone help me with this problem

I have the Ipod touch 5 and my art work isn't matching the song that's being played. For example if Im listening to Jay-Z, Fantasia's art work will appear. Has anyone else experienced this problem? If so how did you resolve it?

Try:
- Reset the iOS device. Nothing will be lost
Reset iOS device: Hold down the On/Off button and the Home button at the same time for at
least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
- Unsync/delete all music and resync
To delete all music go to Settings>General>Usage>Storage>Music>Tap edit in upper right and then tap the minus sign by All Music
- Reset all settings
Go to Settings > General > Reset and tap Reset All Settings.
All your preferences and settings are reset. Information (such as contacts and calendars) and media (such as songs and videos) aren’t affected.

Up loading album art work from the net problem

Just recently, I keep getting " unknown error - 609 " every time I go for up loading album art work from the net. This applies to all the albums not just the really obscure ones ! and its just the art work because I can still get all the track listings.

Actually I experienced the same thing but it's not an issue of missing artwork in the wi fi store. The reason I say this is that when initially purchased the artwork showed fine on the device.
After syncing it also shows fine in ITunes. When checking the device again though, it seems to display random art from the library for that track. In cover flow, if not the center image, i displays what i can best describe as a color static image in the place of the album art.

I can no longer add album art work in iTunes version 10.6.0.40

WHY can I no longer add album art work in iTunes version 10.6.0.40? It is maddening. I have checked many boards and discussion groups but no one has a sure fix. Why is Apple not tending to this problem? They of all groups should know the importance of how something looks.

I had the the same problem albeit with an m4v (same hardware and OS rev too!, iTunes 10.6.3). I was able to add the movie to a new library per Limnos' suggestion here, indicating that iTunes wasn't totally busted. However, I was also able to see the movie in the Recently Added smart playlist (another hat tip to Limnos), although it still did not appear in the Movies section of my iTunes library. (It was also in the iTunes Library.xml file.)
So I called AppleCare, and they directed me to move the file from the external drive where it was living, into the /Users/<Your Name Here>/Movies directory, and to "Add to Library" (Command-O) from that location. Sure enough (and much to my surprise), it showed up immediately (duplicated, actually) in the Movies section of my iTunes library. Subsequent additions to my Library have not misbehaved similiarly.

Movie and art work not showing up on ATV

1 of the movies in iTunes (and plays in iTunes as well) is not showing up on my ATV. Also I am having a problem with numerous movie artwork that I just set up that shows up in iTunes but not on the ATV. Any ideas why they won't sync?

Can you tell me how you added art work to a movie outside iTunes?
I purchased a Movie (No Direction Home) on Apple TV and when it snycs back to iTunes the art work is missing. If I try to add the art work manually in iTunes it won't accept it - no error message pops but the art work will not show after a paste function.

No art work

I had some problems getting my library back in contact with my phone so I logged out and logged back in. My library appreared but no artwork. I thought it was just downloading but the download image of a cloud with a line below remains vacant. What should I do next to get the art work?

ITunes 11.1.5 Album Art Work Does Not Display in Vehicle

Since iTunes 11.1.5, none of my album art work displays in my vehicle (Honda Civic 2013). I'm fairly certain the fault is with iTunes, since I tried a new iPod Classic AND an iPhone 4 in my vehicle, with the same results.
Is anyone else having this problem? Has anyone found a fix? Or do I need to wait for an iTunes update?
Last question: Apple Support seems like a ridiculously LONG, convoluted process. Is there a "bug" link where I can easily report?

I somehow doubt Apple would even see technical support for playing their devices in third party players as their purview and you first step would be to go to Honda for this kind of issue.
You can't delete a post but if you mark it as "solved" people will tend to skip it in the listing unless they are looking for an answer to a similar question.

How do I turn off the feature that browses album art work in landscape view? My videos will not play full screen since I updated my phone to iOS 7.1.

I don't believe that feature can be turned off.
I'm not experiencing any problem with full-screen video play on IOS 7.1 on an iPhone 5.

Where has the art work arrow gone?

I have recently noticed that the art work column arrows have gone. I can no longer change to list only and visa versa. I know I can use "View" at the top and change artwork to show or not but this is tedious! The arrows were quick and easy. Can anyone confirm that iTunes 9.2 update has removed these arrows.

I have back, front and CD covers for the majority of my iTunes playlists. WHY WHY WHY Apple has somebody decide to get rid of the arrow in the iTunes artwork window to change the artwork? WHY WHY WHY has somebody also decided that you can no longer highlight all the album tracks and drag multiple pieces of artwork onto the artwork window?
Like several aspects of Lion these are backward steps.Please show some respect to the massive amount of work that many of us have done on iTunes and leave things alone!
Dave Jeffs - not sure what you mean about ctrl/click - that does nothing for me - am I missing something? It also doesn't rectify the problem of adding new multiple pieces of artwork to an album.

Art Work on Ipad

Some of my art work is not getting put on my ipad...I have all the artwork in itunes...and it show up on my ipod, iphone...

Well, I am seeing this problem with music purchased from the iTunes store. I purchase an album, download it to my MacBook Pro and all is well. I 'Update iTunes Match' and the album appears in iCloud, but without album art.
I am also noticing that many of my newly ripped CDs are exhibiting the same problem. Album art on the MacBook Pro, but no art on iCloud.
Hopefully this is something that gets fixed, soon. Very frustrating...
