Artefacts in Flashvideos with Flashplayer 10

Hello i have a problem viewing videos with flasplayer version 10 in most videos i get a picture full of artefacts and blocks and strange colors.
i uploaded some screens:
http://pic-hoster.net/view/28000/capture_18042011_081003.jpg
http://pic-hoster.net/view/28001/capture_18042011_080838.jpg
this happens not on every video but i think at 80% of the videos i try to watch, and it isnt browser specific tried on differnet browsers, all the same.
I try reinstall several times nothing works, when i install flashplayer 9  everything is fine, but more and more sites require Flashplayer 10 so i always have to switch between these two versions and that sucks.
operating system is windows xp hope someone can help..

Problem already solved i didnt se the "Troubleshooting Flash Player Issues"on the top of this forum.
It was the hardware acceleration

  • What's wrong with FlashPlayer 13, or is it Firefox? Windows 7? Is it FP 13 itself? Are Shockwave & FP the same thing?

I am running an Acer Aspire laptop, 1.9Ghz Intel Celeron CPU, Windows 7, 64 bit, and 99% of the time, Firefox 29.0.1. RARELY, do I use IE. I am not very tech savvy at all, but I have attempted many different solutions, given to me from inquiries to several varying forum members with no luck. There are no extensions at my add-on page that have anything to do with FlashPlayer OR Adobe. I used a file path that someone sent to me, found an older version of Flash, right-clicked and deleted it. It was in my recycle bin, and on the advice of my wife, (who is much better with PC's than I)was going to uninstall this older version. I hadn't checked it in a day or two, but went to my recycle bin a few minutes ago, and somehow, it's disappeared. ??? There is something else. It is strange TO ME, but may not be to others. I took the same file path, ( C: Windows/ SysWOW64/ Macromed/ Flash ) that someone on a forum gave me to see my Flash version, except this time, instead of opening "Macromed", I opened "Adobe", and there is a file there that reads "Shockwave 12". ???  The same person that told me this file path, also said that a NPSWF32_13_0_0_214.dll file was the MOST IMPORTANT file in the FlashPlayer 13 folder, and as long as it was there, everything was OK with my updated Flash version. There IS NO SUCH FILE in the "Adobe / Shockwave 12" folder. The files in this folder, I, of course, do not recognize, but for the sake of this discussion, ( question ), there are 10 or so .dll files, 4 or 5 Application files, ( the .dll's are Application extensions ), one DCR file,(???), and a file folder named Xtras, that, when opened, shows (6) X32 files, and a text document named "autodownload". I AM SO VERY SORRY for this extremely long rant. It is a long, ongoing story. FP 13 won't playback 90% of the video I try while I am online.

I think you made a mess by deleting things from the install folders.  I suggest that you perform a clean install of both Flash Player and Shockwave Player.
download the Flash Player uninstaller from http://helpx.adobe.com/flash-player/kb/uninstall-flash-player-windows.html and save it to disk
download the Flash Player installers and save them to disk
Flash Player for ActiveX (Internet Explorer)
Flash Player Plug-in (All other browsers)
download the Shockwave Player uninstaller http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/shockwave/uninstall/win/sw_uninstaller.exe and save it to disk
download the Shockwave Player installer http://fpdownload.macromedia.com/get/shockwave/default/english/win95nt/latest/Shockwave_In staller_Full.exe and save it to disk
close all browser windows, then run the downloaded uninstallers, followed by the installers

  • How to play flv-files with Flashplayer

    Hello,
I encoded avi's getting flash 8 flv's; I used Adobe Première Pro CS3 and Adobe Flash Encoder as well.
I would like to play these flv's with Flashplayer 8; how should I proceed?
With the VLC-player 0-8-6c the flv's are displayed nicely.
    Thank you very much,
    Marc

Flash video is played in a browser with the Flash plug-in installed. The video needs to be authored in Flash where a player interface is created. The video is either embedded in a web page or linked to the page. The player interface is downloaded with the video from the host.

  • Having problems with FlashPlayer in CP5

I have a user base (government) that does not have (nor can they download / install) Flashplayer 10.
They run OK with Flashplayer 8 (FP8).
I cannot seem to get CP5 to allow me to select FP8. The "oldest" version they allow is FP9.
Is there any way to publish in CP5 with FP8???
I have many sites that are calling me this morning complaining that their training won't run!
    eek!

Me again.  Just took a shower before bed and remembered something important.
Not long after Captivate 5 came out there was an issue with CP5 EXE files only playing on the computer that created them.  When transferred to another computer, the same files would not run.
Adobe released a patch for this that required you to change over a file called Fakeflash.exe.  Here is the blog post about it:
    http://blogs.adobe.com/captivate/2010/08/unable-to-open-exe-files-published-from-adobe-cap tivate-5.html
If this turns out to resolve your issue, it probably means you should update your Captivate 5 because I think this patch was included in the cumulative update released sometime later.
If this works, the good news is that you have a fix.  The bad news is that your current CDs are alll toast and will need to be done again after you republish all your EXEs after updating Cp5.

  • No sound with flashplayer

I have tried all suggestions provided by nviel which seemed to be along the right track but I still have no sound with flashplayer using IE8 and Vista Home Premium. My regedit settings are correct when I go back thru them. Adobe's site didn't want me to go back to flashplayer 9 that was fully functional. I have no problem loading the program which seems to be another common problem. I have uninstalled and reinstalled many times!!!

I did have sound from all speakers not long ago but now sound is limited to the main/front outs.  Using realtek alc888.  As usual enabling environment effects/echo makes sound come from all other speakers but I have never liked any of the effects/echo.  Usually have at least three sets of speakers hooked up at all times and they all work with other applications as they used to all work with flash???
This happens in both firefox and IE7.
My main front outs are hooked up to the "big stereo" which are not on all the time and would really like to get sound from the side and rear speakers again.
This may be a windows update problem too but I am not sure???

  • Too many problems with Flashplayer / shockwave

    Hi
I have been using FF for years. However especially from this latest version, I have so many bugs with flashplayer / shockwave that I am thinking about moving to chrome........ (I don't want to....!)
All the time, all the day, when I am using weesoo (videoconf), or youtube, or facebook ar anything other site using flash, FF is blocking and I get (from time to time) an error message about flash.
It is a disaster for me. During all the day now, I have to clear the history, run Ccleaner, reboot my computer, trying to fix that problem. I don't have it with Chrome, but I don't want to move to chrome !!!!!
I am a saleswoman, then I am working a lot through videoconf, with several windows and the mails, all open in the same time
My laptop is really clean and uptodate, this does not come from me. I even re-install FF recently.
My plugins of course are updated.
Please find below an example of an error :
    https://crash-stats.mozilla.com/report/index/4180546d-e1f1-4cc6-a4f3-bd9552140508
I cannot go on like that. Please help ! I hope you've understood me, I am French... I tried my best to explain in English.
    Thank you for your help...
    Kind regards

<i>Also I don't really think that I have to manually update these device, as the updates are running automatically on my laptop... Thanks </i>
Correct!! You're on Windows 7 so if that's an OEM machine (brand name like HP, Acer, etc) then your drivers should already be updated. Also, Windows Updates handles all of the drivers in their Optional Updates (afaik).
How is Flash doing? Is it still misbehaving or was it fixed after disabling hardware acceleration?

  • Too many problems with flashplayer

I'm getting more and more frustrated with flashplayer. Ever since it it came out with the 11 versions I've had too many crash problems, graphics are jumpy and messy on fb games. I can't stand it! If I downgrade fp, then I can't play certain games as they require the most up to date player. I can't win! Whatever you guys had in the older versions needs to go back to that sort of programing. Whatever got added in simply messed up my crap. If I didn't have to rely on fp so much it would've been long gone by now. That's how angry I am at it.
If you want to know my OS, it's Windows Vista 32 bit. Browser used is Firefox.
P.S. And I did try all the method suggestions through support to see if things would run fine. It's not FF, I know that. I never had any problems with Flash until version 11's came out.

  • How to split H.264 video file then playback with FlashPlayer

    Hi all,
I want to develope a Flash or Flex application that can stream a video file in H.264 codec.
It's easy to do this with FMS, but it becomes difficult with my budget
I have an idea to do the streaming (not really streamming ) via HTTP.
My idea is: Split the large H.264 file into small pieces.
The client can download the small files then play back in order. (MyVideo1, MyVideo2.dat.....MyVideoM.dat)
The client first will download the metadata in XML format.
The client is able to play/jumb to the middle stream, the client will start download from MyVideoM.dat...(1<=M<=N)
My question is: How can i split my large Video file in H.264 codec in to smaller pieces (MyVideoN.dat) that flash player can play.
Which is the minimum metada that i have to put into my small file so that FlashPlayer can understand my video files?
Am i able to simply split the video file at serverside, then Client will inject the metadata into the downloaded small DAT files using Flash??
    Thanks for your support

Is there anyone out there can help me???

  • Problem with Flashplayer after updated to 10.0.42.34

I updated to the New version of adobe flashplayer on vista. Ever since then when I go to myspace which other then youtube is the only 2 places I browse. a few seconds after logging in I get an error message with the problem listed as Flash10d.ocx and it closes the browser. It happens everytime I log in. I spent 2 days loading and unloading and restarting the adobe flashplayer trying to get it to work. I finally gave up and found a link to The version I did have right before I updated. It also did the same thing now with the problem being listed as Flash9j.ocx I didnt uprade anything else or do anything on my computer to cause anything for the older version not to work as it did 2 days ago before I upgraded. I uninstalled all Adobe flashplayer completly and I can now go to myspace and youtube but I cannot watch no videos or listen to music. How Could I please fix this problem? I spent the last 2 days reading other forums and trying everything I saw and NOTHING worked. Not even a delay in the Problem as some have mentioned it slowed down after trying things. Could Someone please Help?

    Russ
I copied the Original Media folder to a new location and then relinked to the new folder.  The process ran without error.  However that did not fix the problem.  The clip content isn't there for 80% of the clips.  The system was rendering in the background for hours.  I went to bed.  When I got up and checked using the view background tasks it stalled at some point.  I tried exporting the XML and importing into a new library.  I got a waring message about an unrecognized cross dissolve transition.  When I opened the project in the new library the time line looked exactly the same and it behaved exactly as the original project. Thoughts?

  • Errors with flashplayer 9

My computer said I needed to install flashplayer 9 so i did
that and automatically i couldn't see any kind of pictures or
videos. I figured a problem must have occured so i tried
uninstalling it and it wouldn't uninstall. I had to come to this
website to get this uninstallation download to remove it from my
add/ remove programs list. It worked, but I tried reinstalling
adobe flashplayer 9 again and I'm still having the same exact
problems. Has anyone else encountered these problems? And if so
what am I supposed to do about it? I can't even surf the web
    properly now.

  • Bad Interlacing Artefacts in Quicktime with MPEG-plugin

    Hello,
I have Quicktime and the Quicktine MPEG plugin.
The problem is that it does not show HDTV-movies in
mpeg format with sufficient quality. The image is more
or less unusuable because of the interlacing artefacts.
I have a variety of streams here (Sony, Hitachi, Pioneer HDTV demo movies). But they are all mpeg format.
This doesnt not seem to appear in files with .mov-Format,
only in .mpeg. I cannot convert the movies to a different
format without losing the HDTV image quality either.
The image quality that Quicktime produces looks like this here: http://www.billiger-online.de/quicktimehdtv.png
You can clearly see the interlacing artefacts.
Or, if we compare the quality of the same stream with Quicktime
(left) and Windows Media Player (right), it looks like this:
    http://www.billiger-online.de/interlacing.png
Quicktime clearly produces a worse image quality than
Windows Media Player. It seems like the Quicktime mpeg
plugin cannot cope with interlacing ?
I am using Max/Jitter to process video streams and frames,
and I cannot work with this framework if Quicktime
generates such a bad image quality. Does anybody know
what to do to bring Quicktime avoid the interlacing artefacts ? Unfortunately, all my current work depends
on the ability to extract the HDTV frames for further
    processing.
    Best regards

My sequence setting is set to H.264 for compressor.
    Why?
You are working with DVC Pro material -set it to DVC Pro.
DVD authoring uses MPEG 2 as its basis. You are compressing the material unneccessarily twice !
I suspect you have the wrong field dominance in your Sequence too.
Check that your Easy Setup is DVC Pro then go to Sequence > Settings > Load Sequence Preset.
Export DVC Pro as Current Settings and you should be good.
