Artwork and Author Problem

Hi,
I've a podcast: https://itunes.apple.com/br/podcast/viajando-para-orlando-podcast/id382249791.
I declare in the xml the local where the image that I want to use to illustrate the channel is hosted:
<itunes:image href="http://www.viajandoparaorlando.net/podcasts/vpopodcastlogo600x600.jpg" />)
But until now it's not working.
Other problem that I have is about the field - <itunes:author> - because the iTunes shows "Unknown" but I declare in the xml:
- <itunes:author>Viajando para Orlando</itunes:author>.
Please, any help will be very usefull.

This is because iTunes cannot read the necessary tags because you have the wrong URL in the second line of your feed, where you have put your own feed URL. It currently reads:
<rss xmlns:itunes="http://www.viajandoparaorlando.com/podcasts/vpo_podcasts.php" version="2.0">
It should read
<rss xmlns:itunes="http://www.itunes.com/dtds/podcast-1.0.dtd" version="2.0">

Grouped with artwork and Tags problem

Hello! I'm tried guys! The problem:
For example, I copy a new album (which include 5 tracks) to iTunes library, then I select all that 5 added tracks and click right button and choose "get info". After, I jump to ArtWork tab and add a cover and click "OK". Well, now I choose option "show items grouped with artwork". Uh, what am I see..? I see that every track of album separate of each other but they have the same cover. Why..? Why they are not together under one common cover? Maybe wrong tags? All tracks of that album have the same album name, year, artist name, genre and artwork of course. What's the problem?

A common problem, be 100% sure that album and artist is exactly the same. One way of doing this is to select all of the tracks, chose get info, and rename all of the tracks from here. Typical mistakes is that one of the songs might have a space before or after the artist name or something.

I bought a song on ITUNES and had problems downloading it. I got in touch with support and and they downloaded the song to my account but now when I try to play it, it tells me my computer isn't authorized to . Reauthorizing computer doesn't work. HELP

Is there a way to change that?
You can easily set up the iPod to automatically sync to your current iTunes library (or just do a Restore), but that will replace the iPod's existing content with content from your current iTunes library (erasing the iPod). If your old computer was "retired" gracefully and you were able to transfer its complete iTunes user data to your new computer, there is no problem because all of the songs on the iPod now are already in your current iTunes library. However, if there are songs on the iPod that are not in your current iTunes library, those songs will be lost. That may be a problem...
If you want to preserve what is on the iPod, you can try setting the iPod to Manually manage music and videos. I believe you can do that from an iTunes library that is not the iPod's currently associated library. Select the iPod in iTunes, so that you see its Summary settings screen. Check the box for Manually manage music and videos. (If iTunes puts up any warning about erasing or replacing the iPod's existing content, Revert the change and cancel out.) Click Apply. The iPod is no longer set to automatically sync. But you can add new content manually to what is already on the iPod. And the songs should not be grayed out.
However, you cannot use iTunes to transfer songs on the iPod to your current iTunes library (except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store). If there are songs on the iPod that are not in your computer's iTunes library, you should eventually "offload" those song files because your iPod can easily break, become corrupted, or get lost. iTunes syncs content in one direction only (from computer to iPod), but there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do an Internet search on something like iPod "transfer," you should get some links, including a CNET article on the topic.
Once all of your songs are "consolidated" in your current iTunes library, you can set up the iPod for automatic syncing to that library.

2x iMac G5: Both Logic Board and Display Problems, Warrenty?

Thank you for looking at this topic.
I am Jeroen from The Netherlands and proud owner of several Mac Mini's, iMac's and Macbook's. I have 2times the iMac G5, a beautiful machine, but both not working since 2 months.
I have two times the iMac G5 with iSight, both have logic board and display problems.
The first iMac doenst start at all, black screen, i hear the chime, but nothing happening. After a minute i see one horizantal white stripe but nothing happens.
The second iMac has weird horizantal stripes also, but the computer starts. It gives a finder and questionmark icon. After a while the fans go crazy.
Both these symptons are widely known on the internet. I would like to get this fixed, but prices are crazy. And because this is a common issue I would expect to get this fixed for no costs. I have contacted several Apple resellers but they shown me high prices and bad services. On these forums I've saw people in the USA who get this fixed free of charge.
Does anyone has any advice for me? I'll call apple USA this morning.

I know of no repair extension authorization which provides for the repair of either computer you describe beyond its original 12 month period of coverage. If either machine is covered by a warranty extension program provided by AppleCare, then the parts, labor or both required to replace the defective components may be offered at no charge to you. Final determination of eligibility is made at the part level by authorized Apple service providers or dealers and by the specific serial number of the machine submitted for service.
Absent a warranty extension, however, it is quite likely that you will have to pay for the repairs is you elect to have them performed.

I own a small company and we are having the same problems.
IE9 is not working with the latest flash update infact the update has messed up flash complety for all sites once installed. I went to YouTube eariler and it warned that I needed to install to the new Flash Player upon instaling and returning to YouTube it had the same message. This led us to download both the x86 and x64 versions and useing the uninstaller went through each one and tried the updates. None of the downloadable updates from Adobes site works. I have also loaded up Windows XP in a virtual machine and trying IE 8 with the latest updates and it as well does not work and does the same thing upon updateing it just keeps saying to install the latest update allthough it has allready been done!
Now on the other hand I loaded FireFox and it had the same update and upon restarting the browser after applying the update and it works just fine!
Im on a Windows 7 x64 Ultimate box and ran the WindowsXP in the VM. FireFox was loaded on the main OS and worked fine after said update.
Of Course I have allready double checked the running addons in IE 9 and the files within the /system32/ and all the flash files go there (x86 and x64 were differnt named files)
Im guessing there is something conflicting betwen IE (IE 8 and 9 tested)
Now this is not just happining on this machine but all of our desktops and laptops no one has any trouble with FireFox working
Also this will break all flash objects in IE even localy as now no flash works it acts like it is not installed.
Guess will see how long this takes to get fixed or aknowledged... lol

Looks okay to me. But then I have no idea of what those "problems" are that you mentioned. Was there a particular reason you didn't tell us what they are?

Authoring Problems in Vista

I'd like to hear from those who are currently authoring
programs using Director in Vista. What kinds of problems are you
having (if any), and have you found fixes for them?
I have done a cursory search for Vista patches from Adobe and
haven't found any. I don't know if that means none are neede, or
just that none are available, yet.

Every time I get to the stage "uploading artwork and remaining songs" I get the following error : "ITunes as stopped working"

I have an issue with ITunes match. Every time I get to the stage "uploading artwork and remaining songs" after 5-10 items have been uploaded I get the following error message :
"ITunes as stopped working. a problem caused the program to stop working correctly."
_ Windows 7 (up to date)
_ ITunes => up to date => 11.0.2.26
_ I've already re-installed ITunes and all his components => same issue
_ this error only appear at the stage "uploading artwork and remaining songs"

When I run the Network Diagnostics in iTunes. And I got the following error :
"Secure link to iTunes Store failed".
So I followed this tread and this is what I tried so far :

Followed the kb TS4123 => no other Winsock Providers that Bonjour

After doing all this tests when I run the Network Diagnostics I still get the same error :
"Secure link to iTunes Store failed".
The strange thing is that I tried to start again the ITunes match and it's seems to work so far. 41 items uploaded and no crash so far (before it was always crashing before I could reach 10 upload).

Itunes 11.03.42 doesnt show artwork and playlist of a podcast

Hi! I have a very anoying problem since i update my itunes to this version, because i used to download Tiesto Podcast, and there was an option to see the artwork and the list of songs to change from one to another in the podcast when i prees the cover in the player,but now with the new miniplayer i can just only see the default podcast cover and i cant see the list of songs in that way.. and i found that very annoying, I used that way to navigate in the podcast and wrote the name of the songs quickly to then search them and downloaded them. i hope you help me to find a way to make it work.. or i dont know if this is a bug

Turned off my firewall and tried but still didnt work. Rang Apple Care and went through about 10 things. Didnt resolve.
I then tried different media and a CDRW worked.
I wasted 10 CD-Rs today
Not really sure if its a media problem as 2 CD-Rs out of the same batch worked yesterday.

Not downloading Artwork and Effects panel

I am using Photoshop Elements 5.0. around 1.5 year, and met the problem for the first time.
Artwork and Effects panel doesn't have drop out window so I can't choose any effect to use it.
The same with Create panel - it doesn't have any patterns for creation.
jpg. screenshots are attached.
This is what I tried:
1. Restart computer - no effect.
2. Repair the program with original disc - at some point the windows showed up: "Please, insert the disk: 1" and the only thing for me is to stop repair. Futhermore, now I am not able to start the disk at all.
I would really appreciate your help.

Please follow the following steps:
1. Close PSE
2. Go to this location: C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Adobe\Photoshop Elements\5.0
3. Delete MediaDatabase.db3 and ThumbDatabase.db3 from the above location
4. Relaunch PSE.
On launch the database will be rebuilt and the panels should appear fine.

My title and author name doesn't show in the preview on the bookshelve?

An earlier post said I could share/exit as epub and that would fix the problem, but that function is not there anymore?
The title and author was there in the beginning of my project but suddenly it has disappeared?

I have created at book and would like to add the author (My name) and title of the book. I have changed the title, the author added a picture ect. but when I send to preview my finished book shows up in the Ibook shelf under "no author"?
I have created my book from the template "basic".
The attached screen dumps are made from a new test a just made with only 3 pages and same thing happend to this test - NO AUTHOR ??

I usually select "Now Playing", and in prior versions, the app would remember that choice. Now, after the latest version update, it always defaults to "Selected Item" upon startup. Any reason why? Can I make it so the last selected settings stays there after I close the program, as it did before? Or is this a bug issue? Anyone else having this problem?
