Artwork gets deleted when Syncing podcasts

I've had this issue forever and dammit it must be fixed. I download a podcast directly from the Touch. When I sync with iTunes the podcast artwork ALWAYS gets deleted. When I disconnect the touch and play my podcasts, there is no artwork at all, just the bowling pin/armless person thing with circles around it that is there by default. ***? This is a piddly thing but losing the artwork *****.

I assume you mean tothe Touch over the Wi-Fi.
If you don't find a fix for this, an alternative solution is to download Podcasts to iTunes from the iTunes Store and then Sync them to your Touch. I suggest this because there have been small issues with apps not working when downloaded directly to the Touch and this sounds as though it could be a similar problem.

Been having problems getting ical events to merge between iphone5 and macbook. After some suggestions from the community, I discovered I have no icloud in ical system preferences, and events scheduled in ical on macbook gets deleted when syncing to my iphone5. Getting frustrated.

You probably have your iPhone set up to clear out old events. My guess is that the events that are being deleted have already occurred.
Check Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars > Sync, and make sure the events you want to keep are preserved.

Place that first folder of photos that you synced to the iPad within the main folder of photos that you sync from and select them to sync again. You can place any number of subfolders within the main folder that you sync from and select those folders to sync. Just "tick"(select) the folders in the photos tab in iTunes.

Will the app specific files get deleted when i remove/uninstall an app from iPad

I mean those files added to an app using iTunes. For example, pdf files added to a reader.
Do these files get deleted when i delete an app from iPad?

I've learnt that this data do get deleted along with the app during deletion/uninstallation. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

My iPhone 5 running iOS 7.0.4 gets stuck on "waiting for items to copy" when syncing to my iTunes (version 11.1.4). I've tried;
quiting and restarting iTunes,
updating iTunes,
restarting my computer,
restarting my iPhone,
turning off iCloud on my iPhone,
restoring my iPhone from a previous back-up,
disabling "automatically sync when this iPhone is connected" and
just leaving it alone for three hours to see if it would finish syncing
But none of these things have worked... I'm not sure what else to try. My iPhone suffered an error about three days ago when trying to update to the new iOS update and went into recovery mode. I had to restore from an old back-up and that is when my troubles began. However, I was previously (before the crash) having an issue where whenever I connected my iphone to my computer it would delete all my playlists. I'm not sure if any of that is relevant.

Previous photo's deleted when syncing a new folder.

Trying to sync photos with Itunes (windows 7)into separate albums, but when syncing a group or folder it deletes the previous album or photos. I can't see anything in Itunes to change to avoid this. Apple is not making "Photo" PC friendly.
Any ideas???

I have a 16GB 3G iPad. I sync it to an iMac 2.8 GHz Intel Core 2 Duo running 10.6.3.
I have a desktop folder that I use for syncing photos with the iPad. Recently I modified some of the photos in the desktop folder and when I try to sync, I get a dialog saying: “The iPad is synced with another photo library or folder. Do you want to sync with your photo library and replace all existing photos on this iPad with those from your photo library?”
When I open the iPad Photos pane in iTunes, the “Sync Photos from:...” check box shows only iPhoto and when I check the box, a dialog pops up saying, “Are you sure you want to sync photos? All existing photos and albums on iPad will be replaced with photos and albums from the current photo library.” I don’t WANT to sync to an iPhoto library, I want to sync to the photo folder on my iMac’s desktop. I am not given the opportunity to pull down the menu beside the “Sync Photos from:...” menu.

Apps are deleted when sync ipod

When I sync my touch, apps on it keep getting deleted so i have to stop the sync
Why does it keep doing that? What can I do?

I just tried again and it says "you have authorize this computer, if you don't your apps will be deleted"
i keep authorizing it and it says "this computer is already authorized"
But it keeps asking me to authorize it anyway

Music content deleted when downloading podcasts

I was downloading some recent podcast episodes on my touch 4 and all my music content was deleted. I synced again and the music came back but many podcast episodes were missing. I tried again after refreshing my podcast library. Now not only is all my music removed from the iPod again but so are all but 2 of my podcasts. I can't get them back on the iPod from my computer. This happened once before but a reboot and sync fixed it but not this time.
How does this happen in the first place?

I got it working. I was able to get into quickly get into preferences and change check podcast to from hourly to manual. From there I deleted all my podcasts and resubscribed. It appears that somewhere along the line one of the my podcast subscriptions went south.

Ipad loses album artwork for purchases when syncing with iTunes?

I have the latest software upto date for iTunes and my ipad.
I usually purchase music directly from the iTunes app on my ipad as I find this a lot more convenient, however every so often I need to connect my ipad to my dell laptop to transfer non-iTunes songs.
When I do so my ipad will always sync with my iTunes and when it does it comes up with a stage saying "copying album artwork", when this happens all my artwork from my most recent purchases on my ipad is deleted.
The only way I have of rectifying the issue is to delete all the songs with missing album artwork and re-download them which is a lot of hassle. I'd say the problem happens almost every time I connect my ipad to the laptop.
Does anyone know why this is or if there's anyway I can turn of this part of the syncing process. Or if I can just turn of the sync and back up all together, I much preferred it when all this was manual on old iPod classics and that.

Hey, I was having this problem, too. The solution I've found is to go ahead and plug your iPad (this works with iPhones and iPod touches, too, I think) into your computer and check "Manually Manage Music and Videos." Then you want to click the "On this iPad" tab and scroll to the albums that are missing album artwork. Delete these manually and sync. Then you can uncheck "Manually Manage Music and Videos," check to sync music in the "Music" tab, and apply. After the sync your newest albums that you've downloaded directly on your iPad should be back in your library in the Music app with their album artwork displaying correctly.
Not sure what causes this, but it seems to almost always happen to me when I use iTunes on my iPad or iPhone to buy things. Sometimes it also happens to items I've purchased from iTunes on my computer as well and that have automatically downloaded to my iOS devices.

It's me again!
I think I've located the problem (at least in my case). I use a ringtone program called iToner 2 and that is what's apparently causing a conflict and syncing issues with my iPhone. I installed my ringtones from iToner 2 and the sync issues re-occurred. After deleting my iToner 2 ringtones, I was able to sync again.
My guess is that some application that you are using that works in some way with iTunes or your iPhone is what's causing the sync issues. I would suggest finding that particular application and not using it until it gets updated to work with iTunes 10.5 and iOS5.

N73 - Contact Groups get deleted on sync

Hi,
Has anyone else had this problem? I have a Nokia N73 and sometimes when I sync it to Outlook via Bluetooth, the Contact Group that I have set up on the phone gets deleted (I only have 1 contact group). I've now downloaded the latest version of the Nokia PC Suite, 6.82, but how do I know this problem is not going to happen again? I have to create the group all over again, and reassign the members. Most annoying...
Any thoughts on this? Other than that, the N73 is a great phone, really love it.

Why does my music keep getting deleted on my ipod touch Everytime I connect it to iTunes on my computer? I've Uninstaller and reinstalled itunes. I've reset my ipod to factory setting and I keep getting this message " The ipod cannot be synced. An unknown error occurred (-54)" this also happens with my ipod 4th generation too. Everytime I go to put new music on it all my old music gets deleted :-/

That is because you got a new computer. You can only sync all media from one syncing computer. You can sync from any computer to iPod using the manual method but that does not sync from iPod to computer.

Notes get deleted when mailed

Hi,
I am seeing a problem with the notes app wherein when I mail the note (by hitting the mail icon at the bottom) it gets deleted. The note was mailed succesfully, but for some reason it disappeared on my notes list. Is anybody else seeing this?

Hello - I just posted a Q and am reading your answer here from a year ago. Maybe you can help me.
I Have a series of notes I've kept the last several years on various topics. I just added a topic To a note on iPhone 5 I have had running at least 3 yrs (my point is it's kinda important note). When I finished adding I was 1/2 paying attention and clicked the + at the top. That brought me to a blank page so I realized I clicked +. So, I clicked Done. That brought me to the menu of my notes - except the note I had added to was no longer there. DISAPPEARED. And, I am pretty sure I never clicked delete - but, like I said, I was 1/2 paying attention - however, if delete was clicked, it would have been after I clicked + and applicable (I guess) to that newly created + topic. But I really don't remember clicking delete.
Now I have gone thru all my note topics to see if the disappeared note may have been added somewhere but it's not there. I then got the bright idea to turn on my iPad and look at Notes and sure enough the disappeared note is gone from there also.
DO you have any ideas?? Or is this note gone forever? :-(

How come the year the album was released gets deleted when I edit the album name?

When ever I edit the name of an album, the year gets deleted. Under "edit info" it says it is there but it never goes through to my ipod? This is the second time this has happened. What do I do?

You might be able to do some of this with retaining the original information if you enter it into the sort ___ fields. Never worked with those myself.
