Artwork in itunes and seeing it on an Apple TV
Hello everyone. I recently purchased my first Mac, a Mini and have also purchased an Apple TV to stream movies, photos and music to our family room.
I've been able to get artwork inserted into the music side of itunes but when I try and associate artwork with a movie, it never shows up on the Apple TV. It acts like it takes it in iTunes. Sometimes it does and other times it doesn't. But when it shows up in iTunes, I still don't see it on the Apple TV.
Can someone help me understand why it wouldn't show up when it's being streamed to an Apple TV? Or why it doesn't always shosw up in the iTunes movie section? I'm not sure if I need to keep a folder of artwork somewhere or how I should do it. With the music side of iTunes, I just copy the artwork from Amazon.com and paste it in when the song is playing and it works. With a movie, I've pasted it into the Artwork box and usually it doesn't stick. if I put the artwork in a folder and insert it that way, it seems to stick around, but neither allow it to stream to the Apple TV.
I'm lost on this one. Thanks for your help.

After adding artwork, exiting iTunes, starting iTunes and syncing again, some of my videos now have artwork showing up with them. A couple, however, still don't.
Do artwork files need to be in a specific format like JPG or GIF to work with iTunes? I'm taking them right off of Amazon, so I'm surprised they didn't work. The problem is on my Cars and Madagascar videos and our Penguin Christmas Capar video. All three have the artwork showing up on iTunes on the computer but it never makes it to the Apple TV.

I just got the new itunes and I can open itunes and see my music but whenI try and go to the itunes store it just loads to a white page. I try and refresh and go to the home page and nothing happens. I can sign into my account and the tabs for the itunes store pop up like they normally would when browsing the itunes store but when I click on one of them, it is a blank page. Is there a setting I need to change? Does it just take an extremely long time to load? Please help!!

I'm having the exact same problem. I upgraded to the newest version of iTunes on my iMac and ever since I did the store is a blank white screen. I can get my library content but the store is a no go. Is there any one out there with a solution? -
I purchased a book from Itunes and see it in my purcahsed library. However, it did not sync to my ipad. is there something i can do to move it to my ibooks on my ipad?
If you purchased it on your computer's iTunes then have did you select it to sync to your iPad (via the iPad's Books tab on your computer's iTunes) ?. On your iPad you can also turn Settings > Store > Books 'on' so that iBooks purchases made on your computer or other iOS device are automatically downloaded to it. My ipod is stuck at step 9 in this guide. Itunes told me to keep my ipod connected to itunes, and my Ipod shows the Apple logo as it should (though I can´t see any progress bar). Do anybody know how long step 9 takes. I have turned off my firewall.
Please Help!If it happens again and the reset (home + power buttons) doesn't work, just let the battery drain; you'll know when the screen shuts off. Charge it back up and it should be fine. Frankly, I'm surprised this worked for you. Usually I hear people with this problem say that holding both buttons doesn't work, and they have to do the battery drain.
If the issue is incurable next time, you have a one-year warranty from the date of purchase. -
I had a mac and then switched to a windows computer. When i downloaded iTunes and signed in with my apple idea I do not see my music... Please Help!

Okay so when I try to download apps on my phone a totally different Apple ID that I've never used before popped up. I've already tried settings under apps/iTunes and signed into my own apple account. But even doing so my apple Id won't show up
Try this:
Open the iTunes app, select the Music tab, then scroll all the way down to the bottom. Here you can sign out of any current Apple ID and sign into a new one. Good luck!
And just in case there is another Apple ID linked to your account you can check at http://appleid.apple.com. -
i buy iphone 4sfrom some friend that's he got it from his friend in canada and me set up software for it from Itunes and it asking now for apple ID that's i don't used it for download apps and me can't open my Iphone right now !! what i should do ?
It's not stolen ,that iphone came from canada to Egypt and me activeted it last night i got the acc from the owner

I have a very similar problem. I am running a new install of Windows 8.1. When I install iTunes 64 bit I receive 2 similar pop-up error windows containing the following (note error code and error text differ "iTunes Helper" vs. "iTunes"):

I've followed the instructions given in this post:

extract iTunes64Setup
double click AppleApplicationSupport.msi
When I run AppleApplicationSupport.msi, I receive the following error:

It is quite possible to have a different iCLoud AppleID from the iTunes one - have you set up maybe Phot Stream using an non-iTunes AppleID?

I am new to iPods but know a reasonable amount about computers. My question is, is there any criteria that artwork must satisfy so it can be used in iTunes and on the iPod?
I have gathered images for all of the CDs I have ripped, but only some of them are displayed in iTunes and on my iPod even though I have attached them to the .mp3 files.
I have tried to attach them again in iTunes, but although they appear when I paste or drag them into position, all traces of them disappear as soon as I move away from the selected file and return to it.
I have looked through previous postings and cannot find an answer to my question. Any help would be much appreciated.Did this work? I am having the same problem with my Mac and new iPod Video. It's making me crazy...

Depending on why it's been disabled, you might be able to re-enable it via this page : http://appleid.apple.com
Or you might need to contact Apple : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
If it then works on your computer's iTunes but not your iPad then try logging out of your account on the iPad by tapping on your id in Settings > Store (Settings > iTunes & App Stores on ioS 6) and then log back in and see if it then works on it. -
Can't watch TVshow/movie on mac(itunes) and switch video output to Apple TV
I just got my 2nd gen Apple TV, great product. From the website and the announcement I was to believe that you could be watching a movie/tv show on your mac (using itunes) and have the video automatically "pushed" to your TV by selecting the Apple TV within itunes (continuous play), like music does. I know you can go through the Computers Menu directly on the Apple TV to gain entry to the same content but I thought you could continually watch the show and switch the output to the Apple TV.
Maybe this only be applicable for iPod/iTouch/iPad devices when the new iOS is released with airplay? Or maybe this will become an available function for itunes on macs when they enhance airplay with the new ios? Or maybe I am missing something really basic.

ITunes and Quicktime Error after automatice Apple update, need help!!!
So I currently have a new labtop with windows vista. I have been runining iTunes for the pass 3 months already no problems. The Apple automatic update has never caused any problems till now. Quicktime needed to be updated today, and I accecpted the update, prior to that iTunes and Quicktime was working properly. Once the quicktime update was complete, it restarted my computer like usual. Then when I tried to open iTunes this error came up:
"iTunes cannot run because it has detected a problem with your audio configuration"
Now I checked the audio configuration and nothing was changed or anything, that has not been touched at all, so I still think it had to do with the update. The next error was came up when I tried to open Quicktime and it read:
"Runtime Error!
Program C://ProgramFiles/QuickTime/QuickTimePlayer.exe
This application has requested the Runtime to terminate it in an unusual way.
Please contact the application's support team for more information"
So as long as I have been using Quicktime and iTunes I have never encountered this, I tried to re-install but the error kept coming up after it was installed. Please help me out!try doing following the steps in these articles
