ARXLAAAD.ldt could not be opened for reading

Hi,
I am working on patching an EBS R12.
EBS R12: 12.0.6
OS: IBM AIX on POWER Systems (64-bit)
I have just applied Patch 7828946 and as part of the Patch Post Installation Steps I am suppose to run the concurrent request;
Import Application Accounting Definitions in the source parameter, location of file ARXLAAAD.ldt has to be provided.
When I execute the concurrent request it give error as follows;
/ebs/oracle/app04/apps/apps_st/appl/ar/12.0.0/admin/import/115/import/US/ARXLAAAD.ldt
The file /ebs/oracle/app04/apps/apps_st/appl/ar/12.0.0/admin/import/115/import/US/ARXLAAAD.ldt
could not be opened for reading
Please provide me any pointers or hints.

could not be opened for readingPlease verify the path and make sure it is correct.
Also, make sure that the applmgr user has read permission on this directory/file.

Help with a fcpx library that is locked "could not be opened. Read-only file system"

Hi all,
I recently moved all my fcpx projects/events to a new Harddrive - I thought I did this correctly by copying/duplicating all projects/events from within FCPX.
When I last used FCPX all the projects/events were there - no issues. Also, when I look at package contents - everything is still there in terms of events and file sizes.
All the library files are on an external hard drive, on an encrypted disk image. Now a week later I have tried to open FCPX and I get the following error
"The document “MND_Z_FCPX” could not be opened. Read-only file system" and nothing will open.
Have checked permissions - these all seem in order. OSX is10.9.5
Any suggestions as to what might be the issue?

the permissions themselves look ok - they have my two computer profiles as read/write. I also note that on some occasions the library has opened in my other Computer profile, but not in the one that I want it to open.
So I think you're right, there is something with permissions happening here. I keep a work and personal computer profile.
Don't know how it happened - but the volume is definitely Read Only - even though I've created a Read/Write permissions for it

Did you configure the STms Porperly.
Did you Distribut the System
overview -> extras->press distrIbute and activate
Set the Transdir path in the new system
Check the domain controller system is accessiblefrom this system especially
(/sapmnt/trans) and should have read,write permissions
SAP user IDs:
SIDadm
SAPServiceSID
These IDs must be able to have full control of \sapmnt.

I'm trying to open Office documents from SharePoint 2010 on Google chrome browser and it throws the below error.
"The document could not be opened for editing. A Microsoft SharePoint Foundation compatible application could not be found to edit the document"

What causes "report could not be opened for writing . . ." message

"This report could not be opened for writing. Any changes must be saved to a new file." The version is CR 2013 SP1. Win 7 Pro. I'm new to CR and can't figure out why I get this error. I've verified all Windows permissions. It's an SAP error message - not a Windows message. Thanks in advance.

Per SAP Note 1911880, this has been identified as a Bug in CR 2011. Since CR 2013 is just a rebranded version of the same tool, the SAP Note should apply to CR 2013 as well.
For CR 2013, the issue has been resolved in FP3. I would suggest you to upgrade to the highest available version for CR 2013 and see if it works.
Another workaround could be to right-click the CR Designer exe > Run as Administrator > Log-in with Admin credentials > try opening the report.

What does "patch package could not be opened" for 8.3 Adobe Reader

Adobe reader won't open pdf. Tried to uninstall and reinstall Adobe Reader 8 but now get this message when it tries to install. What do I need to do to correct? Can't uninstall(delete) my 8.3 from add/delete programs area. Looks like something is corrupted or missing, but stumped. Help!

Error -10810 . the application Finder could not be opened

I recently (about 2 days ago) updated my early 2008 Mac Pro through the standard software update and since doing so my computer has begun acting like it wants to crawl into a hole and die.
There are a number of issues I have noticed. After using the computer for maybe 10-15 minutes I am no longer able to select any applications from my dock and when trying to access the finder it becomes unresponsive. I can then no longer open any programs and if I am lucky I might be able to close whatever curnent program I am using. Sometimes when I try to open a finder window I get the error message -10810 'The application Finder could not be opened'
for a while I could not empty my trash as well although that now seems to have passed.
image icons for some programs in my dock have vanished but when i hover over the space where the iconused to be the program seems to still be there.
I have no idea when my comptuer might freeze. sometimes it's within 10 minutes and other times it is within 1 minute of starting. It's so bad that since updating my mac 2 days ago I have not been able to shutdown the computer properly and have to hold the power button to turn off.
I have tried doing a disk utility verify and it does not seem to find anything wrong with my hard drive.
can anyone help. It's a pain lugging this thing to my nearest Mac store as I don't have a car.

10.6.8 means you don't have a Recovery Mode and all the more reason to use CCC religiously to have bootable backups.
CCC can verify the file integrity of every file
It is harder to verify the integrity of every disk block or sector
10.6.8 does not run on PowerMac and Mac Pro is not one of those anyway (the POWER part is IBM or MOTO/Freescale G-series of computers, Mac Pro is "Intel Xeon Inside")
Overdue to a new boot drive. Never apply updates w/o a clone. Updates have gotten better. Lion or ML would provide more security, drops support for PowerPC and Rosetta though if you have to use older programs.
2008 uses FBDIMMs which even with their ECC can have problems (new FBDIMMs are cheaper, $60 4x2GB, better, run cooler, all of which helps). Garbage in / Garbage Out and same somewhat goes for disk drives too.
A good choice today is a SSD of 120-250GB for system ($90-170) and 1-2TB drive for media and data ($90-160)
And don't rule out your graphic card, still using the OEM 2600xt? 8800GT? good time and reason to upgrade.
Need a newer but not newest? OWC has 2009 4,1 starting at $880 used which are less trouble and handle Mountain Lion better. Yet to see what the requirements will likely be for 10.9 when it comes out later.

I am getting the following error when trying to open iTunes: "The iTunes application could not be opened. You do not have enough access privileges for this application." I am logged in with the admin (and only) user account on my laptop, so I'm confused as to why this would start happening all of the sudden.
I poked around in the control panel trying to find random options that would fix it, but nothing has. I'm running Windows 7.

I to am having the same issue. I have a admin account and logged into it as well and still have the same message pop up. Contacted live support the woman i spoke with had to send it up higher. We went through every thing including her trying (taking over as a host on my laptop) still have not bee contacted this June will be a year that i have heard nothing from them sine She di everything she could and pushed it up higher.

Adobe Reader 9 will not install reporting installatiom package could not be opened

I have WIN XP PRO with SP3. This is a new machine and is running beautifully except Adobe Reader 8 or 9 will not install.
At about 94% done the Adobe Download manager stops and shows the following Windows Installer message
The installation package could not be opened. Verify that the package exists and that you can access it, or contact the application vendor to verify that this is a valid Windows Installer Package.
Of course when I click OK. I get the message from the downloader that "Installation operation completed successfully". Which of course is not true.
Can any one explain what is happening, and how I should address?

Your solution to unregister and register msiexec did not resolve the problem, but it got me thinking and I continued looking down this line of thought through the Microsoft KB articles. There I found a comment per security rights authorization. I had been using an account with administrator rights, but I tried again using the actual administrator account. This worked fine. Adobe 9 is installed and running.

When what is clicked?
There are 9 different versions of iPhoto and they run on 9 different versions of the Operating System. The tricks and tips for dealing with issues vary depending on the version of iPhoto and the version of the OS. So to get help you need to give as much information as you can. Include things like:
- What version of iPhoto.
- What version of the Operating System.
- Details. As full a description of the problem as you can. For example, if you have a problem with exporting, then explain by describing how you are trying to export, and so on.
- History: Is this going on long? Has anything been installed or deleted? - Are there error messages?
- What steps have you tried already to solve the issue.
- Anything unusual about your set up? Or how you use iPhoto?

It's absolutley scandalous that a company with Apple's resources can let this happen. They should have staggered the release by region rather than opening the flood gates. The upgrade itself took me about 10 attempts to download it, and then I thought I was home free. That was until it rebooted and won't activate. It's over 2 hours now.
