As an iMovie11 user, would Motion5 be something useful?

I wanted to get away from the standard text selections and open up a little more of a pallet for myself. Since I edit in iMovie 11, would Motion5 be a practical solution?

Another tip I forgot to mention: this is default behaviour when you have Availability Status = Available with Edit Links. Like mentioned in documentation:
Available with Edit Links - Application is available for use. For developers, the Developer toolbar displays at the bottom of each page. Requires the developer to be logged in to the Application Builder in the same browser session.

As far as functionality goes, I don't see anything wrong. when it comes to efficiency you need to keep some general pointers in mind. These issues which I'm bringing up will not affect your code currently since your array sizes are small but can start creating memory fragmentaion and slow down the software if your array sizes are much larger and the software runs for a long period of time.
1. Try not to use Build Array. Each time you use a built array labview creates a copy in the memory. Try to initilized your arrays and replace the subsets.
2. as much as you can try not index arrays or unbundle cluster multiple times. try to perform as many tasks as possbile in one shot. (this was evident in your second loop)
Besides that it's looking good.
I made a few modifications to your code and attached it. I wanted to give you a different take on it as it relates to being able to control the inputs and outputs programitically, if you had a look up table. I didn't make the same modifications to your second loop but I can guide you through what needs to be done if you would like to move in this direction. Again your original code is well done for someone who is new to labview so don't feel like you need to follow the new VI design. Just try to remove the build array and multiple indexing as a good programming habbit.

When I'm creating new sites and views I want to see what the site looks like if I was a non-admin or public viewer. Other than logging out or having two computers what's the best way for the Administrator to view a page as the user would?

Run IE "As different user", one that has the correct level of rights you need them to have. You can to do this by right clicking on IE in the tasktray, then shift-right clicking on IE in the popup window. You'll get the "Run as different user" option.

Yes. Other things have synced including books, but I don't know how these happened. According to the 'audible' instructions it should happen automatically, but it doesn't.

I suspect that your Windows pals are using an e-mail program from the Stone Age.
In the last 10 years or so most people prefer to read attachments “in-line”. This allows text and images to be intermixed allowing an easier method of explaining things.
When I am dealing with a old-fashioned, obsolete Windows user that is using an older e-mail program I simply put all the attachments at the very end of the e-mail. This will make it appear more normal to them.
Not all Windows programs work in this primitive fashion. But as Mac users, we have become more accustomed to the modern methods of viewing attachments in-line.

ASA WebVPN. How do you restrict access to users in an AD group using LDAP?

I am trying to configure separate WebVPN connection profiles to give different portal bookmark contents to users based on their AD group membership. This has been very difficult, even though I beleive it should be easy.
The login page of teh ASA by default has a dropdown to allow default users to access the default portal and the SSL VPN client connection.
There are two other portals that I would like to restrict access to based on AD group membership. I have set these up to be selected by URL.
The biggest problem is, I have no way of knowing how to go about this. The AAA LDAP options show a group membership search, which I have configured, but I cannot say "Profile X is restricted to AD group CarpetBaggers", so that if soneone that is NOT a carpetbagger tries to log in, it fails.
I can only do an all or nothing scenario.
It would be nice to use Dynamic Access Policies to do this, and I have created a few, but they do NOT seem to work when the drop down aliases or URLs are in use. So how do I go about using them in this scenario? Turning off the aliases or URLs is not really an option right now.
Scenario 1 would work the best for me. Restrict access to profiles/groups based on AD group membership using LDAP.
Scenario 2 would be an ideal longer term solution.
Any thoughts, ideas or assitance would be greatly appreciated.

This is exactly what i was looking for, and Nelson is correct. When you enter the DAP configuration for a profile click on "Advanced" and there is the option to create a logical expression. The guide (ther is a button to access this) is really helpful, with a couple of examples. This is what i used:

Years ago there was a program called mail switcher which added this functionality, but thats gone.

They would have to be logged in as separate users in order not to see your account in Mail. Whatever accounts put in Mail under your account will show up. All mail accounts usually have there own user and password. The only thing you can do is to remove the password from Keychain and take the account offline so you don't keep getting prompts for passwords each time it checks for mail.
Not a great solution.
Best way is to give the other user their own user account with their own mail and enable fast user swithcing to log between the different users if all access the computer frequently.

How to add multiple users permissions to a calendar using powershell?

I have an organization that was recently setup in Exchange Online and they have unique circumstances in that every user in the organization needs "reviewer"
access to every other users calendars. I cannot change the default permission since new users added after this should not be able to see these calendars details. There are a few I will go back to run a Set command on to change an individual permission
here and there for specific needs, but the main need is below.
I have basic experience with powershell commands and have found how to manually add a single users permissions to a calendar using the command below:
Add-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity alias:\calendar -user alias -AccessRights reviewer
Since it's not realistic to run this command thousands of times changing the user aliases each time, I was hoping someone could help me build a command to run on a single mailbox's calendar that would add every current user in the organization with certain
permissions such as "reviewer" or "availabilityonly".

A possible solution is to do this via Security Groups.
Add-MailboxFolderPermission -Identity [email protected]:\Calendar -User [email protected] -AccessRights Owner
This way, you simply add users that require access to the CalendarOwnerAccessGroup
You still have to run this on every mailbox that should have this feature, but that could be solved using powershell piping.

Well, the format I upload from the camera is "video clip" or "video for Windows"...sometimes I've converted them to avi format, too. But as I said, it never even lets me get that far...I never get to even select a clip. As soon as I tell the program to "import/clip" it freezes up before I can even go to the folder that the clips are in. It has only begun to do this recently, and I'd never had any problems like this before. Last night I tried it again, and I clicked "open composition", and it froze when I did that too.
I'm not sure how much more specific I can be about the details of the clips, since I'm positive it has nothing to do with the clips themselves...I'm running Windows XP, though...Home Edition Service Pack 2, Pentium 4 CPU 2.80GHz, with 504 MB of RAM. I have had the automatic updates turned on since I did my last reformat a couple of weeks ago. Could it have something to do with some kind of an update it may have done?

If I recall correctly, that dialog is generated by the Office client product supporting that file type. There would be no way to modify it.

[Solved] Running mpd as user mpd with systemd without using mpd.conf

Maybe this is tivial, but I searched about an hour without any results. I want to run mpd as user mpd. I cant use the mpd config file since mpd set the UID and GID explicitely resulting in mpd not having the necessary supplementary groups to access the locally shared music on my pc. Well I tried to run mpd with systemd by
# systemctl start mpd
and the systemd contains the user mpd
$ cat /etc/systemd/system/default.target.wants/mpd.service

ExecStart=/usr/bin/mpd --no-daemon

Glad you solved it. Was just typing a response and I'll still add two remarks:
The ps|grep output showed that you run grep as root, not mpd itself (which won't have a space in the command -- the second time it only worked because the mpd group is preceded by a space).
It sounds like it took you a while to find the drop-in configuration snippet in the mpd.service.d directory. These drop-in are shown in `systemctl status`, which is something you'd normally check in situations like these, and that might help to discover them more quickly.

Skype for Business: Admin would prefer you to use Lync or it's the only version server supports.

We're running Lync Server 2013, in house, and some of our more fearless users decided it would be a good idea to install the newly released Skype for Business client.
These users were greeted with the following prompt;
You have the newer version of Lync called Skype for Business. However, your admin would like you to use Lync or it's the only version your server supports. Please restart now to use Lync.
I suspect, that our server is causing this. Can anyone point me in the direction of server prerequisites/patches/updates/KBs that might help eradicate this message?

Hi,
It is controlled by the server (Client policy), when having Feb-2015 Lync CU installed on your Lync frontends, you can control the UI of the client by using Client Policy on the Lync side "Set-csClientPolicy -EnableSkypeUI $False or $True"
nevertheless you need to know that if you block the Skype UI users will get the mentioned Warning Message and the client will reboot into the old Lync UI but still they will have some confusion with some points (refer to this article for more details

If you want to block the whole update, you can do that by blocking the new updates and patches released two days ago using "SCCM or WSUS" although I think if you haven't done that already it is little late for that.
