I suspect you have created the documnet's in Pages 08 or earlier. Do you have the iWork 08 DVD so you can install it? Then update to from this link Pages 08 3.0.3 Use it for you older documents and use Pages 5 only for new documents.

ThanksIf you migrated your old system to the new Mac you should still have Pages '08 in your Applications/iWork folder.
Open your document in Pages '08 and Export it to Word .doc/.docx and open that in Pages 5.

I have used my task manager to check to see if another version was open and that did not help. I've signed in and out of CC, that didn't help. The only thing that works is shutting down my computer and restarting. That only lasts for awhile and if I leave it open too long LR doesn't respond and I have to start all over. This just began doing this in the last few days, a few days before that I updated. I am pretty new to LR so any help would be appreciated.

I did the search feature and did locate the .LOCK file (it actually came up with the .LRCAT file) I deleted it but it didn't work. LR will not open and I keep getting the original message I posted, and the only way I can shut down that screen (none of the options will work) is to go into task manager and shut it down. -

Pages '08 should still be in your Applications/iWork folder.

Try putting your iPhone into recovery mode and then use iTunes to restore it. After that then test it out. If during the restore you get and error code, check it against the second article for further assistance.

Pages document is too old to open???
I bought a new Macbook Air and loaded Pages 5.01 which i think is latest version (sometimes called 09 (????) ). When I attempt to open a Pages document created in an older version of Pages I get an error message saying that the document can't be opened because it is too old. It says I should save it in Pages 09 first. Great advice since it will not open in 09 so that I can save it. It was created and saved in Pages 08 v 3.03 . Anyone have any ideas?
Pages 5 is the newest version, sometimes referred to as iWork 2013. The new versions cannot open any iWork '08 or earlier documents or templates. You will get an error saying to open the files in iWork '09 then open them in the new version. I suggest that you buy a retail copy of iWork '09 from a third party such as Amazon or eBay & then update to the new iWork apps in the Mac App Store. You might check this link for the iWork '09 trial. I have no idea if it is still available.

Well the iPod is supposed to be synced from YOUR iTunes music library, if you used other means to put music on there then the iPod is going to sync to only what's on your itunes music library when you connect it.
You need to put the files into itunes.
Far as your other issues, sounds like the drive is dying.

My IPad 2, IPhone 3GS ans iPod no longer work with apple TV, I have 2 apple TV in my house and for he last 3 weeks the iPod was the only one we could use for appleTV now none of them works, the apple TV icon does not show up any more. Re-started everything.

RESPONSES:
1) When I set up my iMac, I did not transfer any data directly from my windows PC. I simply used the same iTunes login and account. I have access to all of the files via the "Purchased" section of the iTunes store. If I click "Download Previous Purchases" text, I can download ALL of the purchases I have ever made.
2) I have the Apple TV 2, so good news, question answered. I thought maybe it was the Apple TV 1, but it is the Black model, so bam. Good response for you. Well the whole damned reply is an awesome response, just pointing out that one piece of awesome. I stated that it was an Apple TV 2, and yet you were still good enough to figure I could be mistaken, and provide me with knowleedge just incase.
QUESTIONS:
3) So can my iMac not stream the data directly from itunes, without download? Apple TV can, but perhaps that is something among many things that maker it unique, and awesome.

I work in the computer support section for the Military. The only problem is we use Windows , lol. Well that and i've been gone for nearly 6 months on recover. I go back next month though I hope. I recently purchased a new Mac and I am having difficulty opening older Pages documents.
Pages, This document can't be opened because it's too old. To open it, save it with Pages 09 first still can't open pages documentEither you have access to Pages ’08 v3, Pages ’09 v4, or neither. One of these older, but more functional versions of Pages can open, and export the document in question to Word. Preview on OS X 10.9.5 and Yosemite can view Pages ’08 documents (in my experience). It is not obvious to me that Preview may be using the installed Pages ’09 v4.3 to assist in opening these '08 documents.
Once opened in Preview, you can select/paste text into Pages v5.2.2, or v5.5. If you want the images from the PDF, then export it from Preview as PDF, and then drag/drop onto latest free LibreOffice icon in the Dock, which will open the PDF for editing. Select, copy, and paste the images into Pages v5, or incorporate into Text boxes, or Shapes. When pasted, images will be in their original size/resolution, not necessarily as small as they appear in the PDF.
If the second paragraph is a chore, then follow Peggy's advice above on the sources for purchase of Pages ’09.
In the future, I would not recommend trusting document architecture to Apple, and use a more accessible format (.doc/x) for better cross-platform access, longevity, and application choice. You may find LibreOffice, or Office for Mac 2011 a better choice for features. -
iTunes gives me an error and asks for re-installation, the error is "The procedure entry point CMBlockBufferCopyDataBytes could not be located in the dynamic link library coreMedia.dll", and the iTunes can not be lunched any more.
can you please help, as I also tried to re-install it but prEntry point errors can often be fixed by deleting the offending dll, then repairing the component it is part of. CoreMedia.dll is part of Apple Application Support.
For general advice see Troubleshooting issues with iTunes for Windows updates.
The steps in the second box are a guide to removing everything related to iTunes and then rebuilding it which is often a good starting point unless the symptoms indicate a more specific approach. Review the other boxes and the list of support documents further down the page in case one of them applies.
Your library should be unaffected by these steps but there is backup and recovery advice elsewhere in the user tip.
If the advice above doesn't resolve things you could try this alternate version:
iTunes 12.1.0.71 for Windows (64-bit - for older video cards) - itunes64setup.exe (2015-01-28)
which is a 64-bit installer for the 32-bit version of the core application, similar to previous 64-bit releases.
Or roll back to the previous build:
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (32-bit) - iTunesSetup.exe (2014-10-16)
iTunes 12.0.1.26 for Windows (64-bit) - iTunes64Setup.exe (2014-10-16)
