I found a solution that worked for me.  Here is what I did and where I found it.
"Looks like I tracked down the problem, it worked for me so I hope this works for everyone else experiencing problems.  Go to your Task Manager and locate the program APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push)..... if you see this executing terminate the program and then startup iTunes and it should come up fine.  You will see afterwards that APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push) starts back up but this is fine as long as iTunes has already started.
I tried playing both music and syncing up my iPhone with no problems.  Note if you shutdown iTunes again you will have to terminate the process APSDaemon.exe (Apple Push) again.  Haven't had time to see what in the world Apple Push is but this appears to have corrected the problem so that you can at least use iTunes and sync any device that needs to be synced.

    If you close Firefox, then start Firefox in Safe Mode, does the problem still occur? For instructions on starting in Safe Mode, see [[Safe Mode]].     I'm having the exact same problem with a dual core iMac. Absolutely driving me nuts...cleared out all my caches before starting; have restarted MANY times after every failure; plenty of RAM, plenty of GBs on HDD; all else updated and my broadband working fine.

    I have a creative cloud membership, have downloaded Indesign, Photoshop and Illustrator CS6 from the Cloud Client. The software opens as trial versions and I have not been able to find any license number to register. I have not recieved any mail from Adobe with this and it is not present at my account. How do this work?

    Hi Manish. Thank you. The issue was that The application manager was set to Norwegian as language in The preferences. I set that to English and re-installed everything.  Now it's working fine.

    Close all application and Clear the bowser cache. Launch CS6 application and check, if you still get the activation .
    Click on License the software and type in the Adobe ID. It would work.

  • I have been paying for two edge agreements for the past 3-4 months AND i have not gotten a reimbursment for anything...

    On October 11th I started an EDGE agreement for the NOTE 3. I make a $92.30 payment over the phone (which is listed above). The lady said it would arrive two days after the phone comes out. It didn't show up two days after it came out and my little Droid X went dead on me. I called customer service and asked if the phone has been shipped yet. They said it has not. I asked if I could pick it up in the store instead. They said yes. They said they would cancel the shipment so I can pick it up in the store. I end up going to the store at Torrance Crossroads and I was just about to get the phone. Then sales rep was trying to force me into buying the case and charger package that was a deal with the phone for $100.I said no and he got hurt and quiet over it. 5 minutes later he comes up to me saying the edge agreement is not cancelled and they can not give me the phone. I asked if there is anything he can do or call customer service and verify because customer service told me it could be done. He said no and walked away.
    I call customer service and they say that they stopped the order and told me to go back to the store and try again. I did not wanna see the sales rep at Torrance Crossroads so I go to another Verizon store on hawthorne blvd in Torrance. I try the same process and the same thing happens. I tell them to call customer service and verify what is going on. I wait for 2 hours while they talk to customer service and the financial department. They tell me they will start another edge agreement on my girlfriends line and give me the note 3 so I can use it on my line. They said they waved the fee through some promotion since I went through a lot of trouble getting the phone and I should be getting a check in the mail for the $92.30 I paid on 10/11/13.
    Ever since then I have been paying for two edge agreements at $29.16 a piece. I have also been paying an extra $8 for insurance on a note 3 that I do not have. I have not gotten reimbursed the $92.30 I paid on 10/11/13. I have been calling customer service since December and have not gotten any where. Today was the last straw when the guy put me on hold and I ended up getting transferred to the sales department... What should I do? Is there anyone that can actually help my situation out. I already suspended my line and will do so for the next 5 months until this is fixed.

  • Video's are missing and can not post any video's and can no longer see on Facebook after upgrading mac software.  Facebook says content is unavailable.  Is this a facebook issue or is there something that I can do to fix on my mac.

    Video's are missing from facebook album under photo's.  It shows that I have 99 and only shows 24.  These are not copyright problems.  I have had them up for years.  Now, I can not post any video's  too.  Message says that content is currently unavailable. It seemed to happen after I upgraded to 10.7.5 but it could be coincidental.  Of course, I have not got any email from facebook to help with this problem and I am really frustrated that I can not find my video's and post any new ones anymore.  Any help would be appreciated.

    I would like to add that Comcast is my internet provider. Perhaps that is part of the issue although the Connection Doctor confirms the mail box is connecting to the internet. No other function processes when Connection Doctor program is used to find the source of the issue. I have read forum posts but am unable to find a way to get my Apple mail to be delivered to my computer. It worked fine up until I chose to transfer mail to the Cloud. My mail account is a .mac account.

    Hoping someone can help me.  I have the iphone 4s, and have NOT upgraded to any new updates lately (like iOS 5). 
    A couple days ago, I had over 120 songs on my phone.  I had a couple playlists made also.  Yesterday I went to put a playlist on to go running, and I only had 6 songs listed in my music folder and playlists!  I plugged the phone into my computer, and iTunes IS showing ALL of the 120+ songs as being ON my phone still.  I tried to do sync, autofill, etc, but it said all of the songs on my computer iTunes are already in my phone.
    Does anyone have an idea of how I can fix this?  I am training for a race and really want all of my music back!

    First, you should re-read the Terms of Use that you agreed to by signing up to post.  You'll find that you're not addressing Apple here.  Just users like yourself.  Addressing Apple in this forum is a waste of everyone's time, and just make you appear foolish.
    With regard to your problem, the iTunes User Guide has excellent troubleshooting steps to take when you're having problems with your phone.  A copy of the Guide is bookmarked in your Safari app.
    Try the troubleshooting steps.  If these steps don't solve your problem, please write back.  Tell us what happened with each troubleshooting step and be sure to include any error messages you have received.
    We'll make sure you get your phone working in no time!

I just logged on and plugged my ipad to get the update and it pulled iphoto up like normally, and it said i needed to choose like a place where i wanted my pictures to be stored and then i just did like in my pictures albulm or spot and then i got finally to my normal iphoto and ALL my pics were gone. I had a lot too like 5,000. So, i dont know what to do! And last night i was trying to turn my laptop off, and it kept saying you need to cloe iphoto cause its still in progress, but i had never touched or did anything really with it so i had to force quit iphoto. And then it finally turned out but im not sure what i did.

    He's asking you if when you launch iPhoto with the option key held down you have the option of opening more than one library.  If not then you current library may be damaged and you can try to fix it by applying the two fixes below in order as needed:
    Fix #1
    1 - launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys held down and rebuild the library.
    2 - run Option #4 to rebuild the database.
    Fix #2
    Using iPhoto Library Manager  to Rebuild Your iPhoto Library
    1 - download iPhoto Library Manager and launch.
    2 - click on the Add Library button and select the library you want to add in the selection window..
    3 - Now that the library is listed in the left hand pane of iPLM, click on your library and go to the Library ➙ Rebuild Library menu option.
    4 - In the next  window name the new library and select the location you want it to be placed.
    5 - Click on the Create button.
    Note: This creates a new library based on the LIbraryData.xml file in the library and will recover Events, Albums, keywords, titles and comments but not books, calendars or slideshows. The original library will be left untouched for further attempts at fixing the problem or in case the rebuilt library is not satisfactory.

    Once you successfully add you iTunes library to iTunes Match, you go to Settings>iTunes & App Store on your iOS device and turn on iTunes Match.  Your iTunes Match library will then appear on your iOS device.

    i used to just download music from a youtube to mp3 converter website and i would just click and drag the file into my itunes and then sync and then the song would be on my phone/itunes; but now whenever i try to do that it says "file does not seem to be a valid podcast URL. please check that you have entered the correct URL and try again." i tried downloading music from other websites that i know always work, but the same message pops up everytime. I also can't connect to the itunes store or check for an update. my itunes has been doing these things for weeks and i don't know what to do to fix it.

    I am having the same problem. I have iTunes on my work computer & home computer, both are running old systems (10.4.11) and I have not upgraded iTunes past version 8 I believe. I did try to download iTunes 10 but the specs said system 10.5 was required. All week on my work comp. I cannot connect to the iTunes store, it says "We could not complete your iTunes store request. The iTunes store is temporarily unavailable, please try again later."
    I have had some issues before this where it won't let me purchase/download items because I don't have the current version iTunes. I'm wondering has the store now been made completely unavailable to those with older versions of iTunes? I would love to have the latest and greatest versions of the Mac system & iTunes but for many reasons cannot upgrade right now. I hope this is not the case.

    I have an iPad mini, I am connected to my work wireless connection. My printer also is on the same wireless network, however I am not able to print to my airprint enabled printer through this wireless connection. Is there a way to direct connect to the printer via a cable ?
    I am missing something here on the connection. I am thinking possibly a firewall here at work will not allow me to use the airprint function. Help ?

    There is no support for wired printing.
    It is probably a firewall issue, possibly where all inbound communications are blocked. Since you're at work, I'd call your work IT department and find out from them what you can/can't do.

    Try restarting the iPhone by holding down the on/off and the home buttons at the same time until you see the Apple logo. 

  • Itunes says my in app purchases were refunded but i have not received any money for them. what do I do?

    On 4/3 3 54.95 purchases went through on my checking account. I had a 50 dollar I tunes card and tried to buy an item worth 50 dollars. but instead 54.95 was charged 3 times from my bank account on iTunes card. I talked to my bank and iTunes. ITunes said they would refund all of them. I check my apps purchases on my pc and all 3 of the charges say refunded but I have received no money. On top of that I did not receive anything I purchased. what should I do to get my money back?

    It can take a number of days before the refunds will show on your card - if they aren't there by the end of the week then try contacting iTunes Support again.

    Hold Sleep and Home buttons for 10 seconds until your device restarts, so you will be able to use your device again. Finally, open Settings > iCloud > Storage & Backup, and make a backup. The device will be backed up when it's plugged to the charger and connected to your network
