If you have the problem with the ini file then you may have a problem with security software that is protecting ini files like application.ini and restores an old copy.

That means there is content on your phone...music and or apps...originally obtained using his Apple ID. Such content is forever tied to the account used to originally obtain it and cannot be transferred to another Apple ID. Your only choice is to identify and delete this content.

My iMac is connected to a Brother printer. I have Snow Leopard 10.7.3 As of yesterday, when I try to print a PDF it prints as a blank black page. Does anyone know how to correct this so that the PDF will print as I see it on screen?
If you are running Mac OS X 10.7.3 then you have Lion installed, not Snow Leopard. It's probably not important to this discussion, but something you should be aware of.
What application are you printing the PDF files from? Have you tried opening the PDF file using the Preview application that can be found in the Applications folder? Does the issue still occur? Have you tried other PDF files from a different source?
Another poster in the following discussion thread reported that this method resolved their black blank PDF issue when viewing (and presumably printing) PDF files from Safari.

There's a solution if you want to see the PDF inside Safari's window :
Go to the folder : Your Hard Drive / Library / Internet Plug-ins.
If you see a file with PDF in its name drag it to the trash.
Quit and restart Safari to test with a PDF.
If it works you can empty the trash. -
i just tried to install the 11.4 update (or whichever one is the most recent update as of 1/26/2014) and when it failed i tried to install manually and now whenever i try to use it, i get the following error: "The application has failed to start because MSVCR80.dll was not found. Re-installing the application may fix this problem." Right after i click ok i then get this error: "Itunes was not installed correctly. Please reinstall Itunes. Error 7 (Windows error 126)." I tried to uninstall Itunes and then reinstall the 11.03 version but that didnt work either. I want to know if i copy all of the music in my itunes folder to an external without consolidating can i still transfer all my itunes music from my current windows xp pc to a brand new one and have my current itunes library in my new pc? Basically i just want to know 3 things: What exactly does consolidating the itunes library do? Can i copy, paste, and transfer my itunes library to an external and from there to a new pc? Will i be able to transfer my itunes library without consolidating the files?
I have found a temporary solution, allowing the previous version of iTunes (v. 11.1.3 (x64) in my case) to be re-installed. It will allow you to re-establish use of iTunes until the Apple software engineers fix the most recent disasterous upgrade (v. 11.1.4). It sounds like you've got a messed-up homepage. Click the Safari menu, click Preferences, and under "Home page", re-type the page you'd prefer to load when Safari starts (eg "nytimes.com" or whatever). Close preferences and try again.

When I try to use spellcheck, I get the "Cannot find the User dictionary". It has always worked in the past and when I go to choose the main dictionary, it just goes back to the same line, cannot find user dictionary.
Have you ever created a user dictionary? You have to manually create one, AppleWorks won't do for you. The user dictionary & any other dictionaries belong in the AppleWorks Essentials folder which belongs in the AppleWorks 6 folder in Applications.
Deleting & reinstalling AppleWorks from the original disk will not delete your files unless you have saved them in the application folder. The Mac OS creates a separate Documents folder for your files & that is where the documents you created should be.
Unless all of your documents are AppleWorks 6 word processing documents, Pages alone is not sufficient. The iWork applications - Keynote, Pages & Numbers - can only open AppleWorks 6 presentation, word processing & spreadsheet documents, respectively. They will not open any other type of AppleWorks 6 files or any AppleWorks 5 or any version of ClarisWorks files. -

I have recently restored everything on my iMac after getting a new hard drive. When i try to use Elements, i get the following error code ERROR 150:30. Any ideas?
Did you use migration assistant to copy over programs, documents, and settings? You can't do that with PSE. Elements is not a tidy package in accordance with the apple developer guidelines. The installer strews stuff all of your hard drive in place the migration assistant isn't programmed to look and you can never hope to find all h the bits. You must always install PSE from scratch on a new machine. By attempting to copy it you have made a lot of trouble for yourself.
You will need to download and run this:
Use the CC Cleaner Tool to solve installation problems | CC, CS3-CS6
and then you can go around and manually remove what you can reach. Look in applications, your hard drive>library>application support>adobe, your username>library>preferences. In the user library also delete any saved application states for PSE.
Then you can reinstall from scratch. -

I am unable to start Firefox. Getting message that it's already running. Can't find my profile using "%APPDATA%\Mozilla\Firefox\Profiles|". Rebooting my computer didn't help. Since I experienced that problem I also noticed that all my bookmarks which I had copied into the Windows Internet Explorer have also disappeared. I am using Firefox as my primary search engine and usually don't use Internet Explorer. I am running Windows 7 on my machine.

Hello, We want to sort some folders that are in different roles but portal only sorts some of them. We use Merge Priority with secuential numbers that will determine the role order. Anybody knows if there is something left or if we need another prope
