As the final insult the iPod function is lost

I have had a number of unfortunate things happend after i installed IOS4 (or Vista as i like to call it)
First ALL of my cell network settings disapeared a few days
AFTER i installed the useless thing, then i had severe problems getting the wlan connection to work, and lately most of my Apps need a few starts to Get going.
Finally i Find that my music cannot be played at all. Does anyone know when the "Vista" issues will be sorted. I'm farly annoyed by now.

Restarts to sort out the apps problems, re-entering the cell network data for MMS etc. I have not been able to make my music player work. It crashes after approx 1-2 seconds. And i found that all my pictures that got transferred back are now shrunk so smalll that they are useless.

  • I plugged my iPhone for the first time to my computer, the iTunes screen came up and asked if I wanted to register the phone as a new phone or with the backup from my iPod. By accident, I clicked on the backup from my iPod, and I lost everything.

    Hi,
I plugged my iPhone for the first time to my computer. The iTunes screen automatically came up and asked if I wanted to register/set-up my iPhone as new phone or using the backup from my iPod. Without knowing what was going to happen, I clicked on the backup from my iPod and then I lost everything I already had in my phone: mostly contacts and pictures. Although afraid of the answer, is there a solution to retrieving the info, especially the pictures?
    Thank you!

by any chance did you do a back up to iCloud? if not there isn't a way to retrieve lost info with out a back up.

  • Anyone tried the "Transfer Purchases From iPod" function

    Hi all,
If you've tried this, when you view your library on iTunes on your computer, how is the music that transfers from the iPod into iTunes differentiated from the stuff that is already in your iTunes library?
    Thanks

I have used it and it is great, except that I can only get it to transfer purchases to my 2nd computer. 99.5% of my itunes content is not purchased from itunes. iTunes supports ripping CD and using your own music, so I am not sure why the other music is not coppied. I do understand and agree that the second computer must be authorized with the same account. This prevents piracy.
All I know know is that when you plug your iPod into the second computer, a pop up box asks if you would like to transfer your purchases. They are now on the 2nd computer and you do not need to leave the iPod plugged up. I do not know if play count is synced between computers, or if we will be able to use this feature with actual music that we want to listen to between computers and iPod.

  • What is the final say on Bluetooth functionality

Here are my experiences and problems:
My iPhone (I have a 3GS) pairs just fine with my 220Plantronics headset.
My iPhone and PC can be paired/recognized, but the phone fails to maintain a connection.
    What happens is...
The first iPhone I tried would not even establish this nanosecond-long connection. When I talked to an APPLE customer service rep about my connection issues (and issues with missed calls), THEY were the ones to tell me my phone seemed to have a hardware problem, and they sent me a brand new replacement phone. With the 2nd phone, my computer will give me an error message telling me that my phone cannot be connected for some reason, YET at the very same second I will get a popup notification saying "Bluetooth Local Area Network Connected". My phone says "Not connected", and when I open the window for Bluetooth connections, everything is zeros and it's not actually connected.
What perplexes me is what is the REAL story behind the Bluetooth problems? I have done my share of reading and I have read lots of information saying that the current phone (hardware or software possibly) & carrier (AT&T) limitations are preventing Bluetooth connection to anything other than a compatible headset. I had actually accepted this, (though very aggravated b/c this was one of the two big reasons for getting this phone) UNTIL I had other issues with my phone and I brought up the Bluetooth dissatisfaction and the tech guy TOLD ME THAT MY BLUETOOTH OUGHT TO WORK FOR FILE SHARING!
So which is it??? Did we all get a batch of "lemons" for Bluetooth that don't work properly, or is it an Operating Sys bug, or something else???
I just don't understand why a person from Apple would conclude something was defective with my phone when it seems much more likely that the Bluetooth is just designed to be "crippled" like everyone says?

Bluetooth is not crippled. There are 25+ different bluetooth protocols and not every device has every protocol possible.
The iPhone has bluetooth protocols for handsfree, headsets, A2DP and tethering when tethering is activated. It does not have the protocols for file sharing or pairing with a PC.

No. The warranty only covers materials and workmanship.
In order to cover loss you need to have purchase insurance.

  • Down Payment settlement Line is not appearing in the final Billing

    Hello All,
Activated the Milestone billing plan. Created a Sales order > Down payment Billing document > and cleared the Down payment billing document.
While trying to bill the final invoice the down payment settlement line is not appearing.
Please suggest us what would be the probable reason for this to resolve the issue.
Checked in detail and found in the table BSID the field sales document ( VBEL2) is populated with blank and not with the sales order number.
    Thanks & Regards,
    Madhan.

    Hi
When you create a final invoice the downpayment clearing line is retrieved using function
module SD_DOWNPAYMENT_READ. The function module will not be able to find the
downpayment if the VBEL2 and POSN2 fields are not filled.
If the downpayment is posted and cleared correctly in F-29 (this is the only way) these
fields will be filled and the document should be retrieved and the value transferred to the
    AZWR condition.
    Run VF01 with a breakpoint in SD_DOWNPAYMENT_READ
go to the end of the function module you will see the structure t_sdaccdpc
This is filled with all valid entries for clearing. I suspect in your case it is missing.
Try posting a new example in using F-29 make sure it shows cleared in the
document flow then check at this point above in the final invoice
    Hope this helps you further
    Kind regards
    Brian

  • How can i make a large document without loosing the quality of the image

I am doing this design of about 6 meters wide for a banner my worry is how to maintain the image quality

    ashmagination,
You may work at a suitable scale, then save as PDF with a custom page size and scale up when printing from Acrobat/Reader.
You only have to worry about raster images and raster effects, if any.
Raster images/effects must end up in the required resolution, so when working at a scale you must ensure that the resolution in PPI is is many times higher as you are scaling up (if you work at 1:10 the final size, the PPI must be 10 times the required value at the final size).

  • How to change the type of the Warning message BS011 in Error one?!

    Hi all,
    I'm facing the following problem:
We're working with serial numbers which are generated when the production order is realeased..
When the order is finally confirmed the finished product is put in the Storage Location with good movement 101: Tcode MIGO1, and the related serial numbers must be selected.
If the user fails in the selection and insert a serial number that is already been delivered to the final customer the message "bs011" appear as a warning:

    Procedure
If you want to execute transaction 'Goods receipts' anyway, ignore the alert message.
Our customer wants it to be an error message: how can I do? where could I manage the type of this message?
I've also refeared to the link:
    Serial number
but I don't succeded in doing it..
    Please help me!
    Thanks in advance,
    Valentina

    Hi Valentina,
    1. Transaction: BS22 (System Status maintenance).
    2. Locate the system status:  I0188  - ECUS (click Page down key to scroll the list below).
    3. Put cursor on I0188 and, menu path GOTO -> TRANSACTION CONTROL.
    4. Locate Business status PMS1 - Goods Receipts, click checkbox "Forbidden" (It might be in Warning right now?).
    5. Save and test your scenario.

  • Probably the exception - not the rule

I've been messing around with computers since the days of the Radio Shack Commadore Vic 20. It can be a frustrating hobby - to say the least. I've had the typical Adobe free stuff on my computer for years, and fooled around with Photoshop on other pc's. (my brother works in a print shop and advised me not to purchase it).
Recently I purchased my first Adobe software - Premiere Elements. I was pretty excited about the prospect of doing more editing than I could in Windows Movie. Installing it was a bit of a hassle, but I hung in there.
Today was the first time I've had a chance to sit down and play around with it. I started about 6am, it's now 11:20am. About 90% of the last 5 hours and 20 minutes has been spent rebooting, re-opening after the hundreds of crashes, reading the barage of error messages, closing every other program I can think of that might be conflicting.
From what I could tell, some of the features looked like they might be fun. I wish I could have kept the program running long enough to give it a better try.
For the record, my computer is only about a year old and the only issue I've had with it is Windows Vista, (but that's another story).
As my title stated, I'm sure I'm probably teh exception and not the rule. In all my years of computering, including many years using digital audio recording software such as Cakewalk SONAR, Cubase and Pro Tools, I've never had so many countless issues, one after the other, with ANY software . . . EVER! The ridiculousness of it is almost comical. Truly, without a doubt - the biggest waste of my money in 2010 - no question about it. I can honestly say I will NEVER even think about purchasing anything from Adobe again.
If it was a glitch here or there that I could work thru - that would be all in a days work. The "glitches" were too many to count. Literally every mouse click brought on a new error or freeze up. I don't think my computer has been restarted this many times all month.
Anyway - have fun. I'm off to find video editing software that I can actually use to edit video.

  • My sisters ipod touch was being registered to my itunes account and then itunes crashed at the final stage and now it wont give me an option to sync my apps and songs from my itunes to her ipod. What can i do?

I have an iphone and it is obviously registered to my itunes so i have all my apps and music on it and my sister just got the new ipod touch and wants my apps and music and so i went to register it to my itunes to sync my music and apps to it just before her birthday but itunes crashed on one of the stages (the final stage i think) of registartion and so i had to close itunes and start it up again but it didnt give me the steps to register the ipod again and now when i connect it i go onto the ipod button and it is just blank with ipod written in the middle with no autofill buttons or sync buttons or any automatic fills and i cant drag music onto it either. Is there anything i can do?

    - You need to restore the iPod to factory defaults/new iPod and start anew.  Is the restore button visable in iTunes?  If it is they restore the iPod.
    - If it is not visible try resetting the iPod:
Reset iPod touch:  Press and hold the On/Off Sleep/Wake button and the Home
button at the same time for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    - If the restore button is still not visable, try placing the iPod in recovry mode.  See:
iPhone and iPod touch: Unable to update or restore

  • How can I get a file to copy all of the files in a directory except itself and the source of the copy function will be the directory the final program is in?

How can I get a file to copy all of the files in a directory except itself and the source of the copy function will be the directory the final program is in? This application must be in Lab View 8.

you mean something like this (see below)?
Now you may have to implement code to check if the destination folder exists and to create it, etc.  But if you use the Front Panel Control to select the destination folder, it should be okay.
Not the best implementation, mind you but you'll get the idea..

  • What are the functional differences between the iPhone and the iPod Touch, barring of course the differences in service requirements.

What are the functional differences between the iPhone and the iPod Touch, barring of course the differences in service requirements.

For one, their form factors are slightly different as the iPhone has a bit more squarish body whereas the iPod Touch has a tapered back to it.
The iPhone also has much better front and rear cameras. Exact details as to the difference in megapixels depends on whether or not you talking about the iPhone 4 or 4S.  If you would like to get more details, you can always view
each models specs on Apple's online store.
