As there is no audio input on the new iMac range, What external equipment will allow me to record onto my iMac ?

As there is no audio input port on the new imac range, what external epuipment can i use to record dj podcasts from a pioneer DJM 700 mixer?

I'd be inclined to use something like the Numark Stereo I/O. If you're currently using the line-in on an iMac then you will see a drastic improvement.

That said, you can spend as much or as little as your wallet will allow on a USB input device, more investment brings better quality ADCs, higher bit rates, lower latency and more inputs.

Check System Preferences > Sound > Output
Make sure the correct device is selected.

I have a Sherwood home stereo w/2 audio inputs on the front,Is this an excepted way for hooking an ipod touch to?.Useing a stereo cable of course.

My new stereo has all kinds of inputs to include HDMI. I hooked my ipod touch 4 to the CD player audio inputs on the back
and it was OK w/the vloume at 30%.
When I hooked/pluged my ipod into the LINE IN audio inputs in the front of my stereo I had to raise the volume up to 50%.
I tried my CD player the same way(from headphone jack to LINE IN on the stereo) and I also have to raise the volume.
I'm useing a stereo cable. Thanks

From the specification, there appears to be a stereo output for headphones, but it is unclear what other audio outputs are available and whether a stand-alone amplifier is required to drive small stereo speakers. It is line-level. You will need powered speakers or an amplifier.

Just redownload it on the other computer by logging into the App Store with the same Apple ID you used to purchase it.
