I have installed an AS2 adapter we have loaded all the trusted certificates & configured the receiver channels correctly,When i try to send the data using an AS2 i am getting an
Error***********
Unable to forward message to JCA adapter. Reason: Fatal exception: com.sap.aii.af.ra.cci.XIRecoverableException: SEEBURGER AS2: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found # , SEEBURGER AS2: javax.net.ssl.SSLHandshakeException: sun.security.validator.ValidatorException: No trusted certificate found #

any idea why i am getting this error message ?
I haven't used Basic Authentication in Receiver AS2 Communication channel ? IS it because of it ?
I checked the detailed error in Runtime Workbench

HTTP 403 Error in AS2 Connection

Hi,
Would really appreciate some inputs on this one. Just to give a background, we're tying to establish an AS2 connection between us and a 3rd party. The 3rd party tried to send a test message using our connecton details, but they got an HTTP 403 Error - Forbidden when trying to send a message.
I have confirmed the following:
- All the certificates (AS2 certificate, SSL, etc) needed for this has been uploaded in the 3rd party's system.
- The firewall has be opened for the 3rd party's sending IP address.
- We have also uploaded the 3rd party's certificates to our system.
- I checked the destination url of the message, and it seems that it is up as well.
As I am not very familiar and new to AS2, I'm currently stuck and running out of possible options.
Is anyone familiar with this? And, a possible cause and solution?

Actually, we have verified our AS2 ID that is set up in the 3rd party already, and it should already be the expected one. Although, I think I will need to ask them the full details already.
I also tried the tool you gave (was helpful btw), and it seems that I was able to send a message successfully to the 3rd party. This was the log:

Signature: on Encryption: on Compression: off MDN Requested: Asynchronous: http://localhost:8080/AsyncMDN.aspx MDN Signature: on Transmission was successful. -TIMESTAMP Tue, 14 Jul 2009 13:03:20 +08:00 [1247547800343]- Verification of receipt is pending an asynchronous MDN.
The problem is as this software is on my localhost. I'm not sure if it is practical to have the 3rd party test and send to this other connection for this dummy server as this won't be used anyway in the planned implementation.
So I guess the conclusion that I got from this is so far, the configuration that I currently did on the actual connection is supposedly to be correct, and that the problem is on the 3rs party's side? Is that right?

Seeburger AS2 connectivity issues.

is it possible to have one single certificate for both AS2 and SSL, using HTTPS protocol.
if yes should we upload the certificates twice (AS2 & SSL)?
Also when we sent some messages via AS2, the seeburger AS2 server seems to be closing the connection abruptly. are there any logs generated on the seeburger side in order to check what actually happened?

AS2 and SSL follows two different protocols. So It's not possible to use same certificate for both of them.
for AS2 connectivity you can ask your network team to open the network port only for AS2 authentication.

I am new AS2 connection settings. I just wanted to know is it possible to pick up a file from a folder and send it via AS2 to the Partners VAN ?
I have done with the Scenario with file adaper as sender service and As2 adapter as Reciever service .

AS2 connection Error 403 / 400

Hi ,
We are working on AS2 interface,
1.. Sending delivery schedule from Backend - > PI AS2-> 4PL External system ====> This Works
2.. Sending Invoice from 4PL External system -> PIAS2 -> Backend === > This does not work
When sending data from 4PL to PI we are getting error as
"Error" "403 Forbidden;Source file not deleted." ,
if we also get error
Error" "400 Connection Failed (VLProxy java.net.ConnectException: Connection timed out: connect);Source file not deleted."

For 403 error
check these configurations
This error may have different reasons:
a) You or your partner has entered an incorrect AS2 ID for one of the involved parties.
b) A valid sender agreement is missing.
c) There are more then one AS2 sender agreements with the same sender AND receiver party.
d) The corresponding inbound channel is set to inactive.

AS2 connectivity issue

Hi,
I am facing an issue with connecting through AS2 server to PI server. Below is the scenario:
We receive different types of files from customer (EDI and Non EDI). We have maintained one configuration scenario (CS) for EDI and another one for non EDI. But there is only one Party. Two communication channels, one for EDI transactions and one for non EDI transactions.
I have configured the AS2 setup for EDI transaction and tested. It worked fine. Then I set up the AS2 configuration for Non EDI transaction. (basically two communication channels polling the same AS2 server). When I tested the setup using the stand alone tool i am getting the error as HTTP protocol error. 403 Forbidden.
It works fine if I set up the configuration for only one communication channel. Not working with both the configuration at the same time.
Is it because of two different configuration scenarios (two communincation channels) and same Party? Is there any configuration I need to set up for this scenario?

The only option seems to be saving the file at some location and then pick them from there for differnt scenarios. If you go with this approach, you can use single communication channel towards AS2 sender partner. You may agree upon a message subject or AS2 Filename with your EDI partner and then based on Subject or Filename value, place the file in different directories or with different names. For this you may use Dynamic Configuration as I have explained here:

ECC - MQ - XI1 - XI2 - AS2 Connectivity

Hi ,
We have a requirement of sending an XML file from ECC unix box to XI via MQ-JMS communication and then from XI to another XI system and finally to third party system via AS2 protocol. This is a simple file transfer interface from ECC to the third party system without any modification to the data or mapping requirement.
The solution i am thinking of is as follows:
1. MQ picks up the file from desginated interface directory on the ECC unix box and sends it into XI-1through JMS adapter
2. Dummy message interface will receive the file and send to the dummy receiver interface of XI through receiver determination
3. receiver interface will send the file to XI-2 system via XI (http) receiver Adapter
4. dummy sender interface in XI-2 will receive the file through XI (http) sender adapter
5. dummy receiver interface in XI-2 will send the file to third party system via AS2 adapter
Can you please confirm if this approach will work? or suggest any other/better approach to transfer the files across?

First you have to use File adapter to read data data from ECC unix box then use use JMS Receiver adapter to send data to MQ,MQ will not read data direclty from ECC File system.
so your flow will be like this
ECC->XI--->MQ.

I supposed to do EDI --> Idoc Scenario
Im having partners A,B,C with three sender communication channels (for 3 interfaces)
CC_AS1   for partner A ,
CC_AS2   for partner B,
CC_AS3   for partner C.
all the messages (ediorders,ediinvoice .. etc) will be sending to the AS2 url
HTTP://<your-xi-server>:50000/SeeburgerAS2/AS2Server
from there the messages has to point to each communication channel (either to CC_AS1 or CC_AS2 or CC_AS3) depending on the
Partner(A,B,C) -- which we will provide in party configuration and
message(orders,invoice.. etc).
My question is
1. How it will point to each communication channel?
2. How it will transfer the correct message to correct CC.?
3. What are the details we need to provide in AS2 sender communication channel to differentiate each communication channel.?
Need help urgently.

Note : Make sure that we are not using any WAN or Mail box .. to give mail subject line in Message subject.

Normally :
The messages will flow from partner system thorough WAN to Mail box and we will put that mail subject (ex: orders_918902)to the Message subject of AS2 sender adapter.
So it will pick the files according to the subject of mail box.
Now to reduce the cost, they are completely replacing this WAN or mail box.
The messages now will flow to AS2 server through internet.
HTTP://<your-xi-server>:50000/SeeburgerAS2/AS2Server
So all the messages from all the partners will be pointing to that url.
Now my problem is how the messages will differentiate to which communication channel it has to go??
EX: Orders will be coming from three partners(A,B,C)
then how the AS2 adapter of party A will receive the correct msg which belongs to them.
We need to differentiate that by giving some information in AS2 adpater.. either Message subject or someother information..
I need that exact information.

Question with AS2 Connectivity with eXchange (JCAPS 5.1.3 U2)

I'm using the eXchange product that goes with JCAPS. We are using a Business Protocol of X12 and a delivery protocol of AS2 over HTTP/HTTPS. I am getting the following exception and am wondering if anyone as seen this error before.

the jsp pages are pre-compiled in a folder :

Seeburger AS2/SSL Connectivity Error

Dear SAP experts,
I would need your guidance on this one regarding the error that I am getting in our AS2 connectivity with Trading Partner.
The scenario is from SAP XI to Trading Partner.
We are using HTTPS connection. I've already uploaded the SSL certificate of the Trading Partner in the SAP XI Keystore and i've tried to trigger IDocs from XI to TP.
However, i am getting this specific error,
Delivery of the message to the application using connection AS2_http://seeburger.com/xi failed, due to: com.sap.aii.af.ra.ms.api.RecoverableException: Fatal exception: com.sap.aii.af.ra.cci.XIRecoverableException: SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error # , SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error # : javax.resource.ResourceException: Fatal exception: com.sap.aii.af.ra.cci.XIRecoverableException: SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error # , SEEBURGER AS2: 500 Internal Server Error #.
Can somebody advise what causing the error?

Http Error 500 are the most difficult to decipher
You will need to get you Basis to turn on AS2 logs and then check the trace the in the j2ee engine to understand what the error is. Most of the times; the error you see in these logs hits the nail on the head.

AS2 Decrypt Error

Hi Gurus
I am testing AS2 connection with a partner using Seeburger adaptor. The partner is sending us edi files using AS2 HTTP protocol. In Seeburger workbench, I can see error that 'com.seeburger.ediint.edi.EDIMessageException: CANNOT DECRYPT MESSAGE (CERTIFICATE OR PRIVATE KEY MISSING)'.
My partner gets error that 'Unsigned MDN received, but signed MDN requested'.
I have given right certificate paths in Sender agreement. And the basis people say that the certificates are correct.
1. Please suggest how to solve this error?
2. In sender channel I have kept Asynchronous MDN settings values like Server Cert (Keystore) and Private Key blank. Is this the problem? What values should go in there?

The value for Private Key is missing in your configuration that may be the cause for this error.

The Value that should go into the Private key area will be in the following format:
TRUSTED\<Keystore_View>\<Kestore_Entry>
Here, TRUSTED is a constant.
Keystore View: will be the keystore view value for your party's certificate entries from NWA.
KeyStore Entry: will be the keystore entry value for your party's private key from NWA.
Please check in NWA or with your BASIS team about the values for Kestore View and Keystore Entry and use the same.

BizTalk AS2 receive location (500.0 error) reported by eternal party when trying to reach BizTalk 2010.

We are facing AS2 connection problem with one of our customers. Following is scenario.
Problem Scenario –
We BizTalk 2010 server with which we are trying to connect one of our customer’s bank for secure communication.
Our UAT box has been done with a successful test connection with that bank however when we move to production server, whenever the Bank try to send any simple .txt file via AS2 protocol, we do not receive the file and bank receive an error following
message .

AS2 Software Provider

Platform on which AS2 Software is installed

I have compared the UAT and Production servers AS2 receive URL configurations and these are completely alike.
Whenever I try browsing the virtual directory setup for AS2 from IIS 7.0 or from
internet explorer with hostname and virtual directory, I get 500.0 internal error which following post says is absolutely fine, this should not be a problem.

Please Note: We have setup other virtual directories for receive HTTP connection using (BTSHTTPReceive.dll) file and these connections has been setup using same user account and are working perfectly fine.

It maybe windows firewall issue. you can try create a Windows Firewall exception if

Seeburger AS2 Adapter error

Hi,
I'm trying to test AS2 connection with External system and got some errors.
I'm able to send message successfully to the external system with MDN Mode Synchronus with out any errors and got the MDN back, I changed the MDN mode to Asynchronus and got the below error. Do we need to do any extra configuration for Asynchronus mode MDN?

Yes, I have created Sender agreement and Sender communication channel with Message protocol as Reports.
