AS2, how to export audio after frame 1

I searched the forum and only find AS3 solutions. Does anyone know a way to export audio for actionscript after frame 1? I unchecked the "Export on Frame 1", and what that did was to skip exporting my audio all together. "Export for Actionscript" is still checked, but I don't know how to tell it when, I guess, is the problem.
I saw one thread that said to put the audio on the timeline, so I tried it, and although the volume slider still to worked with that metthod, but the mute button, which uses the Sound.start() and Sound.stop() commands, stopped working.
Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!

Oh, goodness, that's too easy Thank you, kglad!  I ended up creating a "container" movie that has the preloader in it and call the main movie from there, and that seems to work, too, but your solution is much better!

  • How to export "gif" animation frames as individual .psd files with layers intact?

Hi, after creating an extended 25 frame animation (as if building a .gif) I would like to export each frame to individual .psd files with all the layers showing in each respective frame intact as separate editable layers (rather than each frame as a flattened one layer image/psd)...how can this be done? thanks

maybe it would be easiest if there were just a script which would delete all the layers not visible in a frame but leave the visible layers unflattened, then the file could be saved with a new_name_001 etc., then the deletions could be undone manually via option+command z, the animation advanced by a frame...repeat
is there a script which deletes all but the visible layers in a frame -- but leaves those which are visible unflattened/editable?
    thanks

  • How to export audio from PPro CS6/CC to AJA KiPro?

    Hello everyone.
First off, let me state up front that I know all of the specs when creating a ProRes file that will playback on a KiPro.  Our shop just switched from FCP 7 to Adobe PPro, and the exports are not working, BUT I believe it's only because we don't know how to select the correct options for the export.
We can see Video, so I think we are fine on the picture side, but what I am looking for is a way to be able to get the audio codec to be these settings:
    - Stereo
    - Linear PCM
    - 48kHz
    - 24-bit
    - Little Endian
I just don't know where to look for the audio settings to insure that this is really what I am exporting...  in the export media window, I have been choosing the following:
I have also tried exporting the files as "Mono", but the sound continues to either not play at all or playback with what sounds like massive distortion.
    Any help is appreciated.  Thanks.
    -PJ

Well, those settings will give you the first four, but the last is not a user option.  It comes out as it comes out and you can't change it.  I just don't know if it comes out as big or little.

  • How to export audio timeline as PCM and not AAC?

Well this is something I have not come across before and unfortunately, I have not founjd an answer.
As you can se from the attached screen shot, I have an audio sequence that is comprised of many pieces, all of which come from uncompressed PCM sound capture. They are aiff files.
Anyway, if I try to export that sound sequence as Audio Only, my only option is as AAC, which is compressed. That cannot be an option. I need to output as PCM. Under no circumstances can I compress the sound down to a lossy format like AAC or Dolby Digital.
But I don 't see how to make it happen.
Any ideas? I also don't see how it is possible to export to Soundbooth. That can only be done with a single clip.
I do see export as an AAF file, but I have no experience with that. Would that work and then I open in Soundbooth and I save as a PCM wave file?
With that I see options to "Save as legacy AAF" and also "Embed Audio."
I'm lost. Oh yes, I am on a PC and have CS5 Production Premium.

No, if I choose audio only, I have AAC as the only option.
Now I just noticed I somehow missed I can export as an aif and will do that now and see if I can put it in Soundbooth and covert to PCM.
    Not ideal.

  • How to export game animation frames to separate PNGs?

I bought an Illustrator file that contains several animation frames for a game. Every frame is a single group and they are all on the same layer. How can I quickly export all these groups, each to a separate PNG file?

Create layers from the group via the layer panel's menu
Then use one of the layer export scripts, like this one http://www.arcticmill.com/2012/08/export-layers-as-png-files-from-illustrator-in-multiple- resolutions.html

  • HT200044 how to export a single frame in 10.0.6 - I cannot find option?

With 10.0.5 There was an option on "share" to pick a single frame from the timeline and export the image as a JPEG or other formats.  I do not find this option on the new version.

It works now, you need to go back to share and a new option is available that was created by the step you mentioned, listed as share frame one -- when selected, this allows for exporting the frame to the desktop!
    Thanks.

  • How to export audio track from iMovie '11

I found that the sound from the video recording of a live band worked pretty well for my purposes (listening for problems). But I don't need the video itself for some things. Is it possible to just grab the audio from the video and save it as just a sound file? I tried messing with iMovie but couldn't figure out a way yet.

You can detach the audio then copy and paste it around if you have other clips in the time line but if you want all the audio from a clip or group of clips put them in a project and do a custom QT export and export "Sound to AIFF file". Import that as an audio track in iTunes or drag directly on to another movie clip.

  • How to trim audio after "detataching"

I have a 2 minute clip that I have cut to 1 minute. The audio, however, bleeds through the following dissolve. I don't want to hear that. I can detach the audio and go into audio "clip trimmer" but once there there does not seem to be a simple way to do anything to the audio. In fact, it doesn't look like you can do ANYTHING to the audio. I'm sure I'm missing something. I'd like to select everything NOT inside the yellow triangle (like an inverse select command in Photoshop.) Then I'd just delete it. If I can't do that is there any way to make a hard cut of the video? Right now it seems to want to keep a frame or two for the dissolve--including unwanted audio. I don't want that. I want it to cut EVERYTHING outside my yellow rectangle. Let me worry about the transitions. Thanks for any help!

If you want to do a split edit, (J/L cuts) follow the directions here:
    http://help.apple.com/finalcutpro/mac/10.0/#ver1632d82c
If you want to completely break apart the video and audio, follow the directions for "Detach Audio from Video" here:
    http://help.apple.com/finalcutpro/mac/10.0/#ver549f212d
Note that you will probably want to make the detached audio a separate storyline if you are going to want to do any cross-fading/etc with it. Follow the directions here for that:

  • Export to tape, audio, or frame on CS4

    Hi;
I just upgraded from PP2 to CS4 and I click Export, and I don't have the export choices for audio (export) or a frame.
Also, will CS4 accept the projects I already have started in PP2?
    Thanks

Be sure to see if you qualify for a free upgrade to CS5 (shipped yesterda).
You can export audio or frames - the frame export option in CS5 is improved and you don't have to go thru AME
Yes, CS4 will accept CS2 projects.

  • "Export classes in frame x" in AS3: how does it work?

    My steps:
    1. I have some beefy classes
    2. I want my SWF to show a preload anim while it loads these
    classes
    3. Using the "Export classes in frame: " option, I move my
    classes to frame 10
    4. I put a stop(); on the first frame and test w/ the
    bandwidth profiler visible.
    Desired + expected behavior:
    1. My preloader spins, and I have minimal K on the first
frame and then the main hit on the chosen export frame.
    Observed behavior:
    1. all of my classes are available on the first frame (ala,
all of my logic can be performed on the first frame, even though
the framehead is sitting firmly on frame 1)
    2. there is still a spike in K on the output frame
    Notes:
    - am I just missing the point here? Is this how it always
    worked?
    - why is the Document Class available in the first frame? Is
this mandatory w/ the new structure?
Thanks for your time and help-

I don't understand how its able to trace that it is getting the images in the path, yet there are no images to be seen in the gallery!
I found out that my gallery does work (with images and all) when loaded into a movieclip in a blank AS2 file instead of my AS3 site. Am I doomed since even localconnection will not help?

  • How to export a flash project with a changing frame rate to a video

I have a Flash project that is a series of roughly 1000 images.  The result of the images is a simple animation, and there is music imported on a separate layer.
There are moments in the music that I wanted to line up with certain frame changes, and there are sections of the music that I wanted to match up with a faster (double-time) frame rate.
I used this code in several places in the a code layer:
    stage.frameRate = x;
The result is exactly what I want in SWF -- the animation speeds up and slows down at the exact right moments to match up with the music track, but it seems like it's just not possible to export this variable frame rate project to a video file?
According to the accepted answer on this post: http://forums.adobe.com/message/4019538, it seems that:
The export function in Flash Pro doesn't transcribe *frames*, rather it plays the Flash animation and records it like a camcorder
If that's true, then I would think there is a way to record a variable frame rate project into a video -- does anybody know if this is possible?

That or Premiere would both get the job done. After Effects might be more desirable as it has a feature called Time Remapping (right-click on the video layer, Time->Enable Time Remapping). You can add keyframes to any point in a video and then drag them around to speed up or slow down the video. That'll allow for very precise tweaks.
Finally all I'd suggest is when you jump into your next project, make a quick dummy test project to see if the software you're using is easily capable of producing what you want. It'll solve the headache of completing the project only to land where you are now. Now you know Flash won't play nicely with scripts and Export Movie. If your desired end result was always a video I'd probably use video editing software to make the video. There's some free stuff out there if you really look, but no, it won't be as nice as After Effects or Premiere by any stretch. Although when you see how amazing After Effects is, you'll probably want to buy it .

  • How do I export a .MOV frame as a PNG?

How do I export a .MOV frame as a PNG? Currently, I can only seem to export as a .PCT through "Export Movie to Picture", even when I select "Use: PNG".
Currently, the workaround I use is to export using "Export Movie to BMP", and then converting to PNG with an image editor (but this would be unnecessary if QuickTime is capable of a direct conversion to PNG).

It doesn't seem to be a simple as simply changing the extension.
I ran into this problem when trying to masquerade a QT pct file as a png file as a preview for a flash video. When embedded in the flash player, it would not appear in any browser. (BTW --- It appeared just fine as a plain img in any browser.)
Here was my rather specific fix, which shows that simply changing extensions doesn't always fool every application:
    1. Open the png file in a text editor (in my case, emacs) which will let you edit binaries as ASCII text.
    2. Look through the file. Assuming that non-ASCII characters are shown in octal with a preceding \, you'll see the following
    \377\377\211PNG
    3. Delete everything until just after the two \377 characters, so that the file starts with \211PNG. (If you are editing in hex, look for ff ff 89 50, and delete up through the ff ff.)
    4. Save the file.
After doing this, it embedded just fine.
So.... simply swapping the pct extension for png isn't a true fix in all ways. I'm guessing that pulling off the start of the file tears off the wrapper alluded to above.

for Beginners in SSMS after the report is created , how to export the same report to excel, I did try the option to task and export and follow the procedure, this procedure does not export the same report, the one was created, unless I am missing some steps,
is there a way to do just like we do in SSRS go to solution explorer, and properties and add the Target Server URL or not
    in SSMS,
after I save the report it saves in project , can some one please guide me how to do it, and what steps I am doing wrong,
any help will be great.  I am not technical person, just starting to learn from internet.
    thanks in advance.

As you have said you are not a technical person try using Import Export wizard.
    Refer this link
    http://www.mssqltips.com/sqlservertutorial/203/simple-way-to-import-data-into-sql-server/
And another simplest one is to copy the result set from the query window. Right click the result and select "Copy with Headers".
