AS3 Web-services WSDL address issue (IP Port)

Code Sample:
import mx.rpc.soap.*;  var appWS = new WebService;  appWS.loadWSDL("http://xx.xx.xxx.xx:1234/test/map/service1.asmx?WSDL");
Flash ignore the port number (1234) in connection.
Your help is appreciated, Thank you.

yes, i tried to add port number as a string like this:
appWS.port = "1234";
appWS.loadWSDL("http://xx.xx.xxx.xx/test/map/service1.asmx?WSDL");
and didn't work also.

  • [Tuxedo 9.1 - SALT 2.0] Web service Endpoint address

    I'm working on SALT 2.0 feature with Tuxedo 9.1.
    I have to expose one Tuxedo service as a web service.
    I followed the online documentation and this works fine.
    I just have one problem concerning the Web service exposition address (Endpoint). In my wsdf config file, I have the following AccessingPoints node :
    <AccessingPoints>
    <Endpoint id="GWWS_STAR_HTTP" address="http://servername:65002/STAR" />
    </AccessingPoints>
    Once the TMMETADA and GWWS configured, I started Tuxedo with the tmboot command and I made a test with a classical web browser thanks to get the wsdl.
    I first tried with http://servername:65002/STAR/wsdl? but I got an error.
    I made a test with http://servername:65002/wsdl? and I got a successful answer.
    Is anyone can explain to me how to expose the service with the following URL : http://servername:65002/STAR (as defined in the wsdf file) ?
    Is there another configuration to place in the SALTDEPLOY file ?
    Thanks in advance.
    With my best regards,
    Edited by: [email protected] on 5 mars 2009 07:20

    Hi Sebastien,
    The config of "<Endpoint id="GWWS_STAR_HTTP" address="http://servername:65002/STAR" />" specifies the SOAP address in WSDL, for example ,
    <wsdl:port binding="tns:simpapp_Binding" name="simpapp_GWWS1_HTTPPort">
    <soap11:address location=""http://servername:65002/STAR"/>
    </wsdl:port>
    You can not use web browser to access this address because it requires SOAP request message. The address http://servername:65002/wsdl is to retrieve the WSDL of your web service. The WSDL can be used to program or test for your exposed web services.
    If you want to test the web services directly, I would suggest you trying soapUI (http://www.soapui.org/) which is a very useful SOAP test utility. The most important is it is free:-). The steps sounds like,
    1. New a project
    Supply your WSDL address, such as http://servername:65002/wsdl to the "Initial WSDL..." box.
    2. Following the wizard steps you can create testsuite
    3. In the TestSuite, you can edit the SOAP request body directly and get the reply from GWWS.
    Hope some help.

  • Connecting to Data via a web service:  WSDL vs HTTP REST

    I created an app and easily was able to get my data from my web service via connecting using the WSDL file.  I then added RESTful to my web service and tested it via SOAPUI and then I created a copy of my original app and deleted the link to my service and then added it but this time using the HTTP connection and I was able to connect, I was able to get my value objects created via the xml parser.  However, for some reason, my date fields are not working.  I went into debug and it says they are invalid.  I checked the xml for both the web service WSDL version and the HTTP RESTful and they look the same.  So why all of the sudden does my dates not work?
    SOAPui from web service
    <endDate>2011-05-30T09:53:00-06:00</endDate>
    RESTful address
    <endDate>2011-05-30T09:53:00-06:00</endDate>
    RESTful Flash
    endDate:Date
    WSDL Flash
    endDate:Date

    DS Version: 14.2.1.224 (14 sp1)
    Job Server 14.2.2.5xx (14 sp2)
    Configuration on the Web Service:
    URL:
    https://maxcvservices.dnb.com/Company/V4.0?wsdl
    https://maxcvservices.dnb.com/FirmographicsProduct/V3.2?wsdl
    WSS User: provided the name
    WSS Pass: provided the pass
    Timeout set to 500
    All other settings are blank.
    Does something need to be defined on the job server?
    The WSDL does not even open on the workstation unless I use an adapter. I had found an article/help/note (something) that the web service in SAP DS does not work with HTTPS and it does with an HTTP Adapter.
    I do not have access to Job Server, will have to schedule some changes if there is config that has to happen there.
    Thanks for your input.
    Cheers,

  • Updating web service WSDL in Flash Builder 4

    I have a web service added to my FB4 project. It is all working nicely but I cannot work out how to refresh the web service wsdl. In flex builder 3 there was a "Manage web services" option that let you do it but there doesn't appear to be one in Flash Builder 4.
    How do I update the generated code?

    In FB 4.5,  if you go to the Data Services view, and then right click on the data service (WSDL) you connected to, there is an option there to refresh the WSDL.  It works very well for me.

    Hi Stefan,
    Thanks for reply. You are true WSDL is RPC style.
    But if you Observe My WebService WSDL following lines
    <wsdl:message name="publishSalesOrderCanonicalInput">
    <wsdl:part name="_x0078_mlString" type="xsd:string"/>
    </wsdl:message>
    <b>There is only one part(field) but we wants to send 50 field XML.</b>
    If you see Note:856597 & attached WSDL in Note getQuote_rpc.wsdl following lines
    <message name="GetTradePriceInput">
    <part name="tickerSymbol" type="xsd:string"/>
    <part name="time" type="xsd:dateTime"/>
    </message>
    <b>There are two part(fields) for two XML fields as in Note.</b>
    Is it possible to Pass XML message in this type of web-service?
    If possible then How can I send?
    Please help....

  • Web Service Using SSL issue

    I have a web service that has been working fine using http. Just switched over to SSL using the <WLHttpsTransport> tag on the jwsc ant command. Now I get the following error at runtime: Any ideas/suggestions? Thanks in advance - Craig
    16:22:27,953 INFO [STDOUT] Caused by: java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: org/apache/tools/ant/BuildException

    16:22:27,953 INFO [STDOUT] at weblogic.wsee.message.soap.SoapMessageContext.setFault(SoapMessageContext.java:102)

    I thought I would post an update since I found a solution. The problem was a ClassCast exception in a part of the SSL stack, that wanted to use the ant BuildException class. This has the effect of hiding the real issue which was that the SSL connection was not successfully occuring. The real problem was that the SSL connection started with a WSDL retrieved via SSL, but the connection for the port was through a username/password. When a username/password is used to create a port, the WL stack falls back to http and causes a ClassCast exception on weblogic.wsee.connection.transport.http.HttpTransportInfo. The solution is to create an https transport object when the service impl is created:
    HttpsTransportInfo transport = new HttpsTransportInfo ();
    transport.setUsername (user.getBytes ());
    transport.setPassword (pass.getBytes ());
    gServiceImpl = new PersistenceManagerService_Impl (url, transport);
    and to create the port without parameters:
    port = getServiceImpl ().getPersistenceManagerServicePort ();
    This allows one-way SSL with username/password for the connection.

  • Coldfusion 11 Web Services and SSL Issue

    Our company has two web services that we host that a vendor uses to grab information from on a periodic basis. These services ran fine on a CF8 SSL site, but once we switched to 11, the services can no longer be created. However, I can create them on our unsecured test site (which also is running CF 11) and access them externally without issue. When I try to create the webservice in the url, I just get a blank page back instead of the XML I should be getting. Is there something special I am missing that has to be done to create web services in a secure environment? The raw error message I get when trying to invoke the secure web service is below:

    I am able to successfully call the same web service (on the internal prod server) using the same code from my internal dev server.  However, when I look at my httpd logs on the internal prod server, I don't see the request in the ssl logs.  It shows up in the access_log file as:
    150.231.26.130 - - [03/Feb/2015:13:48:57 -0500] "POST /standard/date_function.cfc HTTP/1.1" 200 397 "-" "Axis2"
    Any thoughts why this appears to still be coming through port 80?

  • Web Service WSDL File Generation

    hello everybody, I have an outbound interface with sender soap adapter to work as a web service, I tested it by generating the wsdl file in the integration directory, and I tested it with altova xmlspy and it works really fine, but now I have a problem another aplication needs to call the webservice, but when they try to import the wsdl file it turns out that in their system they can only import rpc files and not document style files, is there a way to generate a RPC file from an xi interface, or is there a third tool to do this conversion, or what needs to be done, has anyone found this problem before??? thanks in advance.
    Regards,
    Julio Cesar

    Hi ,
    As far as I am aware of ...
    3 SOAP encoding styles are there :
    SOAP Remote Procedure Call (RPC) encoding, also known as Section 5 encoding, as defined by the SOAP 1.1 specification and later defined in SOAP 1.2 as RPC encodings and conventions
    SOAP Remote Procedure Call Literal encoding (SOAP RPC-literal,) uses RPC methods to make the call but uses an XML do-it-yourself method for mar-shaling the data.
    SOAP document-style encoding, also known as message-style or document-literal encoding.

  • Web Service Connector Export Issue

    Hi,
    Version: Crystal Xcelsius Designer 4.5
    I have a Crystal Xcelsius dashboard with a Web Service Connector component on it, as well as some graph components.
    When I "Preview" the file, the display works fine and the graph is filled with data obtained through the Web Service Connector.
    However, when I try to "Export" the file, either as .swf, .ppt, etc, there is no sign of the display refreshing, either on load or at intervals. I've tried clicking on the Connector button, but it doesn't appear to be connecting to the data source at all.
    Any help or advice on how to get the exported display working would be appreciated.

    Xcelsius creates the SWF file which is operated through the Flash Player.  Therefore, it uses the security features of the Flash Player that you have installed on the browser.  It is possible that this issue is Flash Security which is preventing access across a different domain.
    This error occurs for one of the following reasons:
    The domain name used in the URL in the web browser and the URL used in the web service configuration in Crystal Xcelsius are not the same.
    Or, if the URL in the web browser uses the domain http://machine1 and the URL in the web service connector uses the domain http://machine1.companyname.com, the SWF refresh will not be successful.
    When running inside a web browser, a Macromedia SWF file cannot access data that is outside the domain in which it was created. To work around this behavior, use a cross-domain policy file to allow the SWF file to access information on the Web Service server that is sitting on the other domain.
    To use the cross-domain policy file:
    1. Create a cross-domain policy file. For details on how to create this file, refer to technote tn_14213 at www.macromedia.com
    2.Copy this file into the root of web application server. For example, for Tomcat, copy the file to 'drive':\Program Files\Business Objects\Tomcat\webapps\ROOT
    For more information about the cross-domain policy file, see Macromedia technote tn_14213 at www.macromedia.com

    I was previously able to generate a types jar just fine from the web service's WSDL. Recently, I made some changes to the web service. Apparently, these changes to the web service now cause the WSDL to be unparseable when trying to generate types jars.
    Any ideas?

    The WSDL is generated from my web service. I made heavy revisions to my web service which, in turn, affected the resultant WSDL. The changes I made to my web service were almost exclusively related to object substitution. For example, prior to the change I was referencing object A from my web service; after the change, I was referencing object B. The objects that I'm referring to are XMLBeans, if that matters. I can't really describe it more than that without actually showing you the WSDL.
    I would post the WSDL file here to allow you to try to create a types jar out of it, but the WSDL exceeds the 30000 character limit for this field. There is no way for me to attach the WSDL to this post.
