ASA not showing CPU Usage

HI,
I was polling my ASA on OP manager which was reside on INSIDE zone now we move OP manager on DMZ. Now ASA not showing ACTIVE CONNECTION and CPU Usage in OP manager.
below are snmp configuration.
snmp-server host DMZ A.B.C.D community cisco version 2c
snmp-server enable traps
snmp-server community cisco
and recieve a mention log on ASA during polling ASA on OP manager (NMS).
Kindly advice in this regards.

Which Is the Best App to Show CPU Usage by App?

ActMonitor by Aeonika ($.99) and System Activity Monitor by Recession Applications LLC ($1.99) are the 2 activity monitors with 5 star ratings. However, the info available for each in the App Store and their websites failed to show whether either measured each open and background apps CPU usage individually.
Knowing that info is the only way we'll get to the bottom of iOS 7.1's higher battery usage.
Does anyone know of a CPU usage monitor that does give us individual app CPU usage?

When I am in e-mail. I get the spinning color wheel. Then, when I check the activity montior, it notes high cpu usage (99%) for "Safari web content.". then I quit this process and cpu usage drops way done. but I have to log in again to my e-mail. what can

How much FREE RAM do you have when this occurs. It's easy to tell, when it beach balls open Activity Monitor (Applications - Utilities - Activity Monitor) click the System Memory tab and note how much FREE RAM is listed. If it's 500MB or less it's time for a RAM upgrade.

CORBA connections not relinquished - CPU usage - 100%

We have a session bean making a corba call, however after the call is susccessful,
the connection doesn't relinquished. If We do a netstat , the number of established
connections keep increasing as more calls are made to the CORBA server. We am
facing issues of CPU usage goin upto 100% and never comes below 97% after a lot
of such calls. Please suggest someway of fixing it.

You should verify it within the product documentation.
If you want to verify it by yourself, from wls, implementing the singleton pattern
for your remote object, invoke a method on the remote object, implement a sleep
in it (on the corba server), and after try to execute another method on the same
remote object (singleton), which returns immediately (it is important that you
run this test within the same wls instance, and the same ejb (ejb module) : the
singleton is relative to the classloader).
If the orb implementation does not multiplex the invokations, you will see the
second call not returning until the first one has not returned (end of sleep time).
(of course, I suppose the Corba server is multithreaded...)

release threads until the system exits. This is one reason why using
the BEA ORB in 8.1 is preferrable.
If you are using WLS 7.0 then Sun did make a fix in JDK 1.3.1_09 which
adds a special property to allow ORB.destroy() to release the
threads. You would have to go through support to find out what this
property is. If you are using 8.1 then you can use the BEA ORB or
if
you need to use the JDK ORB I think that calling ORB.destroy() will
release the threads for you.

Not normal cpu usage when playing video files

Hi guys !
I've noticed that when playing videos (with every player , i've tried them all) there is a noticable cpu usage and with hd videos well the video is extremeley slow and unwatchable .
I have all the gstreamer plugins installed and i'm using gnome environment .
Does anyone know what might be the issue ?

Yes. You can put all of your personal default settings in the file ~/.mplayer/config. If it doesn't already exist, just create it. On my VDPAU enabled system it looks like this:

ISE dashboard not showing CPU RAM usage for Admin/monitor and PSN

Hello,
I have a distributed deployment in pilot with one node dedicated to Admin/Monitoring and another dedicated to PSN.
On the dashboard, (httping to the admin node) neither of the nodes show their CPU and RAM stats (appear as grey icon).
logging to 20514 is pointing to the primary admin node.
Does anybody have any insight?
Have already resynched deployment with no success.

FSRM quota not showing correct usage

The quota management of FSRM doesn't show the correct quota details for drive C:
It's used just to monitor the diskspace so no quotas have been enabled.
Quota details shows limit 50 GB and and Available 18 GB
But Volume details shows capacity 50 GB and Available 6GB
On a non system drive the values are correct.
So I don't get the needed alerts.

This is captured from a just formatted volume:
You can see the Available size shows that about 600MB is already used, while disk quota shows 269KB.
Disk quota check "used space" by checking file owner. If it do not have permission on specific folder, the used space will not be counted. For example, when we right click on "system volume information" folder, it shows 0 byte in using,
but actually there are many files inside including shadow copy files.
As the purpose is to monitor volume usage, you can set the limit to "capacity - used space" - It is not a solution but as we cannot show all used space, it could be a quick workaround.

Picture Messages Pix-Flix ect Not Showing In Usage Anymore

A few days ago I noticed that none of the picture messages were showing up in that category on the usage page on my Verizon anyone know why?

Same problem here. Some background images show up, top, bottom and corner images not. Opening the 'content.html' file in Safari: no problem.
No idea what's going on.

VSOM Not Showing Disk Usage for Media Servers

I wanted to try and figure out why my Operations Manager is not synchronizing the disk usage of the media servers storage partition. Currently I am running a fully virtualized environment on a Cisco UCS-B series chassis with version VSM 7.5.1 (Redhat 6.4) on my Operations Manager and all of the media servers.
As shown in the image below I am providing an example of the disk usage that shows for one of my media servers in the Operations Manager
Below is the an image of the disk usage shown through CLI of the same server.
As you can see there is a major discrepancy between the 37MB Used(Operations Manager) and the 4.8TB Used(CLI).
Has anyone ran into a similar issue and found a resolution, or know of the scripts on the Operations Manager or the media servers that are responsible for the sychronization of this information.

Top right battery icon does not show battery usage

So over the weekend I did not charge my iPhone, because the icon always said I had full battery life. I believed it because I never made a call, listened to music/video or surfed the net. It basically stayed in sleep in my pocket both days.
I get to work monday, pull it out to listen to music and I get the full screen battery icon showing the battery is dead with the plug and lightning bolt icons under it, then it turns off on its own. If I turn it on again, same deal.
I get home, hook it up to my PC and charge it, it works fine.
Today i've been listening to the iPod all day and surfing the net on EDGE and the battery icon in the top right shows full battery. To test I turned WIFI on for the past few hours to check and it's still showing full battery.
Basically just the battery icon in the top right isn't recognizing the battery being used. My Usage stats in Settings are also blank for Time Since Last Full Charge.
Background info:
Refurbished iPhone bought directly from ATT, came with 1.1.1, immediatly upgraded to 1.1.4
I've tried hard reboots.
I keep push e-mail and WiFi off at all times. WiFi comes on very rarely and only for short amounts of time.
I keep the phone connected to my PC overnight, but the PC does not go into any sort of sleep mode(ruling out not charging overnight)
I'm going to go home tonight and restore the phone to see if that helps, but I wanted to see if this is hardware related or software. This just started this weekend and i've had the phone for a few weeks now, and other than some short battery life at the beginning when I would keep wifi and push e-mail on a lot, or the random Safari closings, no other issues.

Have you tried re-calibrating the battery? To re-calibrate it, let the battery drain completely and then charge it fully. You should see correct battery usage after that.

IStat nano not showing CPU temp! Is this a CPU problem????

Ive installed the latest version of Istat nano but the CPU temperature does not work. I have read on a website that some of the CoreDuo chips can have a problem with the temerature control and stop updating at a certain point. This could cause the CPU to over heat.

I, too, cannot get iStat nano to show any temps. Nor will it show battery..says "Invalid System"
The widget says there is a newer version available, but when i downloaded it, I got a message that said i had a newer one in place already.
Confusing. And I'd like to be able to monitor my temps. Anyone have any ideas?

Please Explain "Max CPU Usage" To Me

If this is as simple as "RTFM n00b" then please give me the link to the proper documentation page, because after quite a bit of reading, I'm no nearer an answer.
Oracle Cloud Control shows me in the "Top Activity" page that my CPU usage significantly exceeds the "CPU Cores" line (this red line appears to be called "Maximum CPU Line" in other areas?). This CPU Cores line sits at 1.0. The activity monitor shows my CPU usage at the 2.2 mark (obviously exceeding the red line by a significant margin).
However, I go over to the "Hosts" page and look at the "CPU Utilization" graph and it never shows CPU usage above 13%.
The host has 4 virtual CPUs and the database is 11r2.
What is going on here? Again, if this is all discussed in a man file somewhere, please direct me.

My thoughts would be that the OEM seems to think that you only have 1 physical core because it's showing the CPU Core line as 1. When, in fact, you say that you have 4 virutal cores?
On our PROD DB, we have 8 physical sockets but 32 cores available. The OEM shows the CPU Cores line as 8 and CPU always exceeds it.
Personally, I use the OEM performance graph as a way to quickly identify issues. Spikes in CPU, locks, excessive I/O, etc. Then I can drill down as necessary. I leave it on in the background and just keep an eye on it.
I monitor the CPU usage from the server. If you know that you are not CPU bound, there isn't a problem?

High CPU usage and multiple jobs created while streaming data via a java applet from a secure/certified website. CPU usage is normal for a few minutes then suddenly jobs multiply and CPU usage climbs on one of the jobs.
Jobs with the following command begin to multiply in my job queue with one job showing CPU usage at 368% and staying resident in memory (yeah, a long one):

Here is a good tutorial on Java. Evidently, what I called "jobs" is referred to as processes and threads in this tutorial. The tutorial states that multithreaded execution is an essential feature of the Java platform which explains the avalanche of threads I observe. However, I am still stumped at what causes the avalanche of threads and excessive CPU consumption for such a mediocre task. Also the system log says that IcedTea has an error stating "Application title was not found in manifest. Check with application vendor". I interpret this to mean that IcedTea does not recognized some application. What application? .....the applet?
