Asain writing on top of page
Lately, at the top and across the tabs of each page there is Asian (ex- Japanese, not sure which) writing that appears. The tabs become blank. The writing also shows up in the toolbar line. This has started the last couple weeks I believe.

Field Descriptions without TOP OF PAGE
Hi Experts,
I have one Z report and this was written somebody long back.
This report was normal standard report i.e just writing the table values to screen using WRITE statement.
Eventhogh there is no TOP OF PAGE event in the report, field names were displaying in the screen output with highlighted color.
As soon as WITE statement calling, program is displaying fieldnames automatically? how it possible?
Now, I modified my program by adding another field values to the screen output.
The field which I added it's not showing field name.
How can I display my field description to that output. (without adding TOP OF PAGE)
As I told you report doesn't have TOP OF PAGE event. Please help me.

I'm guessing that your report is organized in a tabular form and by field description you mean column headings. There are two ways to display column headings 1) by explicitely writing the WRITE statements to output to the column headings, 2) by maintaining the standard list & column headings. (in ABAP editor follow menu path GOTO>Text Elements>List Headings.
You can disable the display of standard headings by using addition in NO STANDARD PAGE HEADING as below.
REPORT YTEST NO STANDARD PAGE HEADING
LINE-SIZE 120
LINE-COUNT 65
MESSAGE ZMSG.

Top-of-page event is not triggered
Hi,
I have a problem with top-of-page event. I have a report that shows the results in ALV grid display. But I use "REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY" not OO alv and there is only one screen with number 1000. On the menu toolbar there is a button that prints the data of ALV in a list using "write" statement. While writing , "top of page" event is not triggered. I expect that it is triggered at the first "write" statement but isn't. Is there anyone who knows the cause of this problem?

how write top-of-page event, perform & form routines in include program. but include is under Function & function.
when i am writing those statement get the error massage.
the error massgae is : (incorrect nesting : before the statement 'top-of-page'the structure introduced by Function must be concluded by Endfunction).

Top Of Page event in RS_TREE_LIST_DISPLAY

I am using the FM "RS_TREE_LIST_DISPLAY" and i am passing the form routine name in the importing parameter CALLBACK_TOP_OF_PAGE . But the Sub routine is not triggered.

Now it is calling the subroutine.
See although while writing in code i am using the small letters but while passing the parameter I am using capital letters.

Top-of-page for list display thru ALV

I was suppose to write a detail report thru ALV, this I have handled thru hotspot and in the user_command,I am have the below code.. for ALv I am using FM REUSE_ALV_GRID_DISPLAY

The above write statment is not trigerring either top-of-page ot top-od-page during line-selection.
I have even tried pushing the event and form name into it it_events..
Kindly suggest how to go about this, I need to get top-of-page for this list-display.

I am not looking at top_of_page for GRID, it's working for me but I need top_of_page for the list display that is for the list which I am generating when the users double click it particular row.
By default I am getting the below header automatically.

ALV Grid - Alignment Issues in TOP OF PAGE.
Hi,
We have a requirement to right align text in the report header.
We are using REUSE ALV GRID DISPLAY, but using TOP-OF-PAGE event - the whole text is left aligned.
I tried using Class CL_DD_DOCUMENT which solved the alignment issue, but I am not able to see the header while printing/downloading to excel.
I want the header to be available while downloading/printing the list. Any suggestions?

The ALV download only the grid into the file, so not the data you're writing in TOP_OF_PAGE event.
If you need to do that, you should create an your own buttom to download the file.

We can place a pagebreak before the Heading or Sub-Heading manually prior to or even after creating a Table of Contents. So that the Heading or Sub-Heading is placed always on top of a page.
To create a Table of Contents:
Under Format panel, define paragraph text as Title, Subtitle, Heading, Heading2 ..... and so on for displaying in TOC.
After completion of document writing, place cursor where a TOC is to be displayed.
Insert > Table of Contents > Document
A table of contents generates automatically.

in the standard title you can have &0 ... &n. The program must put the values to fields SY-TVAR0 to SY-TVARN.
see this sample:

MOVE SY-Pagno TO SY-TVAR2.
From output screen: System>List>List Header
Click on first white line and enter the following title to the yellow box: Title: &0 Date: &1 . Page No: &2......
