Asant command ..error C:\lib not found

I am using asant command compile and copy my files(servlets) ...but for some reason I am getting an error that says C::\lib not found can anyone tell me why I am getting this error

You need to set the j2ee.home property as described in the About chapter:

I found result that was C:\lib not found. After run asant build the exercise date and bookstore, I can see the result C:\lib not found in dos prompt.Why? What lib I need ? It worked for hello1 and hello3.I think I installed the javahome and j2ee home probably.If someone know,Could you show me the right way?

try specifying the j2ee.home explicitly in examples/common/build.properties:
for example:
j2ee.home=H:\Sun\\AppServer

in build.properties of my tutorial example under E:\j2eetutorial14\examples\common
but there is still that problem

Could you post your build.properties as it looks like you might not be setting j2ee.home correctly...
you do not need ${j2ee.home} at the end of the line.
The settings should be
j2ee.home=c:\\sun\appserver

I applied the patch 5035661 also but still the error exists.
Please let me know the fix.

That file might have moved to a different location on the server. I think you'll need to check with RefWorks support or your local IT department on why the install page links do not work.

Error 7: File not found occurs in 8.2 from transition of 4.1. Specifying the file in file dialog returns error although file is in the directory.

Copied a program from 4.1 to 8.2 recently and receive an error 7: File not found at open file+.vi. The program is built so a file dialog will pop up and ask for the destination of the file. Eventhough there is a file in the specified directory, an error is returned. Running open file+.vi by itself returns no error with the same file designation. Any clues?

Welcome to the NI Discussion Forums.
I created a quick VI in LabVIEW 4.1 that displays a file dialog and then passes that file path to "Read Characters from File.vi" (which in turn calls Open File+.vi). I then opened this file in LabVIEW 8.2 and ran it successfully (see code screenshot below).
When you say there is a file in the specified directory are you using the file dialog to browse to the directory or to select the specific file? Open File+.vi expects the path to a file rather than a directory - that is C:\folder\file.txt rather than C:\folder. You might also want to create an indicator or probe to see what path is being passed to Open File+ to ensure it is what you expect.
I feel like I should also say that in the days (years) inbetween LabVIEW 4.1 and 8.2 the file operation VIs have changed significantly. While the old Open File+.vi still lives in vi.lib for compatibility purposes we no longer recommend using it for new applications.

PI MDM Adapter Error - MDM port not found

We are working on an R/3 - PI - MDM scenario using the PI MDM Adapter. We are currently encountering the following errors.
In RWB - Communication Channel Monitoring

We are no longer seeing the MDM Port Not found error, but we are still seeing the UnknownServer error. Looking at RWB Message Monitoring it appears that the message is successfully sent to the MDM server, but nothing is coming into the Ready folder. Any ideas on where the message is going, and why it is not showing up in the Ready folder?

Brrestore give error termination message not found

Dear all
i have try to restore offline backup to test system bcaz while database upgrade it got crashed it shows error ora-01157 and ora-01110 i have the backup of system
while i am trying to restore the backup it throws error terminated message not found d:\oracle\SID\sapbackup\beojggvh.afd log file incomplete
i used following command
brrestore -b beojggvh.afd -m full -c
i copied backSID.log and beojggvh.afd file from offline backup folder to target system /oracle/sid/sapbackup suggest i went wrong

Share the complete error log file and make sure data file using for restore should be a successful one complete offline backup.In addition share alert_<SID>.log file also.

I get "command.exe entry point not found" NSSUTIL_DoModuleDBFunction dynamic link library softokn.dll :windows8.1 64bit, tried reset and fresh install but NG

I am using a 64bit fresh installation of windows 8.1 laptop with the latest 27.0.1 version of firefox. I have been getting start up error messages. The messages claimed that each of nss3.dll, mozglue.dll,plc4.dll,plds4.dll could not be found in windows. I found a good fix explanation on a site where I could download these missing files and copy them to the system folders on windows (in sytstem32 and sysWOW for 64 bit) Each time the error message popped up the next dll file missing and most recently the message has changed to “ command.exe entry point not found” NSSUTIL_DoModuleDBFunction dynamic link library softokn.dll As I can find no reference to this on the net I was hoping you might be able to shed some light on the problem.
I have tried reinstalling and I have also tried the reset option in troubleshooting but the problem remains after restoring my FF backup settings. A completely fresh installation does remove the problem but the first installation of a new extension add on (but seemingly not plug-in) and the problem returns regardless of which add-on.

I posted this question after the best part of 2 days trying to eliminate this, admittedly small but, irritating error. Some hours later I note the problem has gone away which I think is most likely down to a clean-up job done by the WiseCare 365 software.

So does this mean the JDBC driver path is incorrect? I have installed the whole JDev suite and Oracle 10g XE, so I guess the driver is not missing? How can I check this? Thank you.

Out of the box, build.properties doesn't have those entries. I have followed these cue card steps before, on another machine, and it worked right out of the box. Does this have anything to do with the environment variables like ORACLE_HOME, ...?

- Ubuntu Linux 7.10 64 bits
- NetBeans 6RC2 Mobility Pack
When I try to build a project, NetBeans returns:

Then I downloaded WTK 2.5.2 by myself and tried to build it using the toolbar:

The problem was that WTK was not accepting JRE 64-bits, then I installed JRE 32-bits and set up WTK to look for it.

Hp 5535 will not scan, error message printer not found

I have a HP Envy 5535. I have only been able to scan one time with it. I scanned 22 documents, after running HP Scan Doc 4.4. Each time the HP Scan Doc states that everything is OK, yet as soon as I try to do even a test scan, I get the error message "Printer not found." I have also tried to run this scan with my McAfee virus firewall off, and it still doesn't work. I have also identified it on McAfee as part of my network.

For further assistance I will need to know:
If you are using a Windows or Mac Operating System, and the version number. To find the exact version, visit this link. Whatsmyos.
If the printer is connected, Wireless, or USB.
If the printer is able to make copies by itself.
If the power cable is plugged into a surge protector, or directly to the wall outlet. Issues when Connected to an Uninterruptible Power Supply/Power Strip/Surge Protector. This applies to Inkjet printers as well.
In the meantime, please try going through this scanning guide. A 'The computer is not responding' Error Message Displays During Scanning.

As this is more ralaing to the costing sheet, this refers to controlling module.
We have verfied the Note 515426, but the correction were delivered in 4.7 itself. My client is using the 6.0 verion.

we are trying to preview the PDF output in the XML Publisher Desktop Application.
We are able to LOAD the data successfully.
But whenever we try to preview the output, we are getting an error saying "Run-Time Error '76' Path Not Found".
We are using the XMLP Desktop application on the Client Machine.(Citrix)
