Ascending vs Descending Order in Photoshop

When I have multiple files open in Photoshop I always have this issue: I will be editing multiple files, and I prefer to work on them in ascending order. However, once I close a file so I can move on to the next one, Photoshop jumps to the last file in the sequence. For example, if I am working on image 001 and close it, I would like Photoshop to automatically go to image 002. Instead, it always goes to image 010. How can I change this?

Thanks for your reply. I tried the option given by you that is changing the definition of the info object from Text to Key and loaded the data accordingly. But when I run the report, I could see no changes in the sheet as before. But when I put this info object in the first column, I mean I changed the order of the info objects in the query designer then it worked for only first column but not for any other columns. I just wonder why it is happening, is there any way to find out what should be the order as I have followed the order given by the functional guys in their requirement? I tried with deifferent positions but it is working for only the first column.

How to sort database record in an Ascending or Descending order

This is in Mavericks, but I think it also applies to the Finder in Lion.

Can I turn off grouping by date in Finder and also 'Arrange by' and 'Sort by' in ascending and descending order?

I am trying to arrange my photostream saved search (which doesn't update automatically after I did the search for the first time which is very annoying) but finder won't let me arrange in ascending order of date (i.e.: oldest to newest). Is there a way I can do this or will my folder arrangements always be the one way without the option to change it to the opposite arrangement (same for alphabetical). Also, Finder automatically arranges my photos into groups of dates (e.g.: 'previous 30 days', 'September'). Is there any way I can turn this off?
Also if anyone can fix this stupid photostream issue for me that would be great!

Even in list view, the photos are grouped by previous seven days, previous 30 days, October, and so on.. there is no option i see that will let me change to order by date modified without these groupings or to just turn these groupings off altogether

Mix Ascending and Descending in SQL

I am very new to Oracle and SQL, but I am very curious if one can sort by mixing both ascending and descending orders within a single SELECT statement.
I have been trying to figure out why this would even be needed, but I'm certain that there are unique circumstances where one would want this capability.

Needs rows to be listed in a particular order(not ascending or descending)

I want rows to be listed in a particular order(not ascending or descending) when running a BEX query. for example, if there is a characteristic called name with the following values a,b,c,d , then i want it the rows in the output to be listed like a,d, b,c (not a,b,c,d or d,c,b,a). Can anyone help.

I think the only way to do that is to build a hierachy in wich you insert all the possible value in the order you like.
If exist a logic, you can use this logic at loading time to set an order fields to be used in reporting.

Iplanet page display datas in ascending/descending order

The URL will display the whatever files and directories in the Afolder.
But it display the page ,default with out sorting order.
we want to display the page in either descendng/ascending order.

Hi,
The deliveries are created with respect to the Scheduling agreements. Hence for the Scheduling agreement a span of a year and 3000-5000 Units of the product to be delivered in a phased manner of 20-40 Units would have a big thread in the sales document flow. The scheduling agreements have possibility of getting renewed.
Hence, need was that why not we have the sales document in the descending order, by which we could see the last processed delivery.

Clicking on any column header will make that the primary sort column. Clicking the same header a second time will reverse the sort order. If you want to sort by date click the header labeled DATE. Click DATE again to reverse the sort.

How to sort data in descending order when user clicks on the column heading

I have a report called "Top customers", which shows the top customers for a specific product line. It displays the customer name and one column with the total amount spent in the period for each product line. By default, the leftmost product line is sorted in descending order.
If the user wants to know who are the top customers for another product line, they simply click on the column heading to sort the list by that column.
The problem is that when you click for the first time on a sortable column heading, Apex sorts it in ascending order; you need to click on the same column heading again to sort in descending order.
Is it possible to change this behaviour and sort the data in descending order in the first click? So the users don't have to click twice...

Take a look at Anton Nielsen's answer with regards to hiding a column and displaying its value instead of the sortable column.
Asumming the following simple report query:
select product,sales
from <table>
Change that into:
select product
,sales*-1 as reverse_sales -- Select this one as an extra column
,sales -- Hide this column
from <table>
In your report column attributes (of column reverse_sales), html-expression, type #sales#. It then displays the normal sales. However apex will generate a 'order by 2 asc' for the first time. The '2' will refer to the sales*-1 value: sorting it asc, is the same as sorting sales descending...

Displaying Array Position not working in case of descending Order?

and postion is correct also

Marker Won't Display When Y Axis in Descending Order

I'm using an RTF to create charts. I'm using bi-publisher desktop version 11.1.1 and have Office 10 loaded.
If I add markerDisplayed="true" to my line chart, the markers display on the line and in the legend. But, when I add

the markers disappear from the lines but stay in the legend.

Finder Issue - Folders in reverse descending order

When Finder is open, and I select the Documents tab, I see, on the right, my folders and can open those folders to see the files within. Here, the files are alphabetically arranged from A through Z, in descending order (A at the top, and Z at the bottom).
However, when I double-click a folder to open it, the order of files is reversed and the alphabetizing becomes inverse - with A at the bottom and Z at the top.
How do I change this ordering to reflect a descending order?

I also have this problem, and the work around works for me, but...
This has got to be a bug, right? There is nothing, anywhere that I can see, that controls whether it is alpha ascending or alpha descending. The "fix", such as it is, is to ignore the Arrange By menu and use the column headers to select the sort order.
In fact, to bulletproof it (because I will forget eventually) the best solution would be to remove the "arrange" menu altogether because it does not do anything that sorting by column headers does not do. In fact, it does less. In even more fact, it does worse than less.
Apple is keenly persuing minimalism. So why does the arrange menu exist? And if it does exist, why did no-one test that it works rationally?
The corollary of all this is that the Arrange By menu does the same thing as clicking the menu headers, but when you use it, it disables them.
I have been banging my head on my desk since I bought my new machine with Mt Lion on it about the wretched headers not setting the sort order and it is because some - numbskull is not the _only_ word that comes to mind - has decided one selection mechanism for the sort function should disable the other. ¿Eh?

                 The scoreboard i designed via query print layout. So i calculated by using formula field ie totalsales- sales return for that i used formula and i follow the below steps
Choose repetitive area -
> Right mouse click---> sort
in the sorting i choose the formula uinque id and i choose Ascending then summary, after i click ok
Suggest me the solution

Ascending Decending Sort order for the inbox search

We want to change the sorting for some the fields in the inbox in the ascending or decdending order. Currenty seems to us that we cannot fix the "order by" (Ascending or descending) for Sort.
Has any one experienced this if yes please advice.

There is a badi for Inbox, CRM_IC_INBOX_BADI. In thsi you have a method CUSTOM_HITLIST_SORT. Here you get the structure which contains the data. Now for which evere condition you want to change the sort or add a new sorting parameter you can do it here.
