Summary
Developer contributes to the planning, design, development, implementation, maintenance, and enhancement of Oracle ERP applications (Manufacturing and Supply Chain). Must have expertise with Advanced Planning and Scheduling (APS) Module and other Manufacturing Modules; i.e. – BOM, PO, ENG, WIP, INV, OE.
Responsibilities
Write design specs and programs in PL/SQL, triggers, stored procedures, packages and functions
Analyze user requirements: write custom reports or modify original Oracle reports
Develops and directs software system testing procedures, programming and documentation
Coordinates installation of changes to the custom modules
Knowledge of the 11i data structures in different modules (OM, BOM, INV, WIP, MRP, APS, AP, AR & GL) for creating reports and extracts
Develops alternative system and software design using Workflow
Work with DBA and First Level support group to discuss and make appropriate changes to the custom applications
Confers with co-workers to determine impact of database changes on other systems and staff cost for making change to database
Qualifications
BS in Computer Science or related field
A minimum of 5 years applications development experience
Oracle ERP modules experience: Oracle Manufacturing (BOM, PO, ENG, WIP, INV, OE,); Oracle Supply Chain (Advanced Planning and Scheduling / APS)
Good understanding of Oracle Application API's
Must have support and implementation experience in Oracle 11i ERP package including Manufacturing, Supply Chain.
Knowledge of the business process flows in a majority of the modules
Experience with performance tuning of SQL (explain plan, tkprof techniques)
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Experience in working with cross-functional teams in a corporate environment
Resolution of user support tickets for production issues and system bugs
Strong organizational and time management skills
Interaction with Oracle support for troubleshooting functionality issues

Q10 - OS10 basic and daily issues

This is not an Q10 review, I just want to show several basic issues on Q10/OS10 phone/software. First of all, Q10 is excellent build - feel very good in hand and seems to last long time. I'm using an BB bold 9900 too, as second phone.
However and unfortunatelly, there's few issues that I want to show here:
1. During a call the caller's name is show very small on screen. In fact, is the smalest thing that apear during a call. Is so small that I need to focus to be able to see who's calling. If there's no caller picture it's almost impossible to see the caller's name.
It will be great that if in absence of caller's picture the caller's name is shown bigger.
2. The "End call" pictogram is splitting quickly their position into "End Cal" and "Recall" when a call is ending. So if I want to stop the call first call ending and make the second call fast, I'm in position to push "Recal"l instead of "stop call".
I think this pictogram's place changing should be not done. Better remains at their's initial places.
3. The contacts search is not working properly - even is set to search for the first/second name. There are several missing contacts.
This is very annoying.
4. The search contact is not changing is colour when is selected. When this contact is the last shown on screen I have no clue if I push it to select - there's no move or colour change on it! So, I have to select an dthen to scroll up if I want to see the associated phone numbers.
It will be great if the search list moves up when I select the last contact shown on screen. And, obviously change it's colour like it's own phone numbers.
5. The STOP/START PHONE option is missing!!! Cannot stop or start the phone on schedule.
This mistake is unbelivable!
6. The long push of the upper button does not contain the profiles - notifications! So, when a quick sound profile is nedeed there's no quick acces to this. I have to start the "Notifications" and there to set in a small window the "vibrations Only", or "Mute" notification profiles. Pushing the lower button on the phone side is not a quick solution.
If this out of reach profile notification will be on hand it will be great.
I am a 7 years BB fan and I used at least 10 BB devices. I hope the above basic issues will be integrated into the next OS 10 software update due to theirs daily usage.

How well does the TomTom app work?

Let's hear it, how well does the TomTom app work compared to a dedicated GPS device? Are you using TomTom's special cat kit? Is there a way to load TomTom binary files (POIs) onto the iphone?

I have used a Garmin Nuvi760 for about 2 years and have been very pleased. When TomTom had a sale for $50 and now seems to be $60, I bought it. I also bought a kensington car mount. (http://us.kensington.com/html/17546.html). I like it. with my 3GS, there is no need for the amplified TomTom car kit. The speech quality could be better but it's loud enough. I do like the on screen presentations a bit more than my Garmin. I'm still getting used to the interface. It's a real good thing that I can use my contacts file to set destinations. My next step is to go on an 800 mile trip this month and compare the two systems side by side. So far, TomTom has not always made the best route choice and once sent me to the right address in an adjoining city. (This is southern Cal) Not good, but these are map issues which will always be evolving. Is it worth it? Yes. At $100, maybe. The good thing is that my phone is always with me and so is my GPS. I does put a drain on the battery, so it should be on charging while using in a car.

Recommendation for home wireless service in So Cal?

I need to purchase wireless internet service for new home in Southern California. I currently use ATT DSL. After briefly switching to ATT Uverse on advice of ATT customer service when I wanted to upgrade to faster service and old airport apparently stopped working correctly, it was a disaster. (There is a separate conversation on the Apple Forum about the experience.) After much hassle I switched back to ATT DSL and bought a new airport. Things have worked fine since, although my son still thinks it takes too long to download movies. We are a Big Mac household - iPad, iPad Mini, iPhone 5, two MacBook Airs, iTouch - and an oddball Droid phone. New home currently uses Verizon phone and internet service through Time Warner (I'm choosing to go with Direct TV).
So my questions - Does Verizon wireless internet service work well with a household full of Macs? I prefer to use an Airport. Is there a modem and/or router that Verizon uses that is good or bad? Fios or DSL? (I had a horrible experience with the modem/router with the Uverse disaster.) Has the modem/router/Mac connection improved with Uverse? Or should I just stick with what I know works for me - ATT DSL even though its not the fastest speed?
I'm not technologically sophisticated (this is probably obvious), so would appreciate replies in plain English. Thanks!

DSL is yesterday's technology:
BEST is Verizon FIOS (or ATT Uverse) depending if either has fiberoptic cable to your door (call each to find out; they will know from your address). Be careful, ATT is now calling their non-fiberoptic service Uverse; so ask about fiberoptic!
I use Time-Warner Internet at its fastest consumer speed. I am currently uploading a 16GB file to an associate in UK and it will take 18 hours (remember upload is always much slower than download). I think my service is 20 or 30 down and 1 up; at about $40/month. I have multiple routers to connect it to many Macs, iPhones, AppleTVs, home entertainment systems, etc.
Stay away from satellite; it is ONLY for internet service to the boonies...
FYI: I use DirecTV (and a roof-top antenna) for TV and T-Mobile for both VoIP at home and iPhone 5. Everyone HATES the Time-Warner cable service due to their monopoly in So. Cal.
T-Mobile has best monthly rates in So. Cal for iPhone 5 AND you can purchase additional data for tethering (using your iPhone as a WiFi HotSpot or with BlueTooth, as I use it at an off-line office that has no internet service). AND you can talk and internet at the SAME TIME, unlike Verizon which on the iPhone is one or the other.
Soon T-Mobile will implement their UMA/WiFi Calling feature for the iPhone; already implemented on Blackberry, Android and other phones. This allows FULL T-Mobile talk and text coverage ANYWHERE in the world where you have access to WiFi. I use it with my Blackberry on every trip to London or at my girlfriend's house in the hills above Santa Cruz by swapping the SIMM card, now with micro-SIMM adapter.

In ASCP Workbench - Need to take action against sales order types

Hi Team,
I am facing one issue, In ASCP workbench, when we query an item with conditions Order type=Sales Order, I can see many rows with Action=Release, Action=None.
Some rows with Action=None is in pink colour (without taking action against this in ASCP WB) and some in black colour.
For rows with Action = Release, We can check the Release check box and can modify the "Implement date" field, Save and Release (Tools-->Release). Then we can see the changes in Schedule ship date field in Sales Order line (Source Instance)
But for Action=None, We can't check the Release check box (But User want to implement New date for this also)
Since this is linked with OM, I am in a position to solve the issues urgently based on the below questions.
1. Which one triggers the Action=Release or None
2. What modification needs to change in SO line (Source instance) to know the changes in Action column in ASCP WB.
3. User needs to implement new dates for the items having Action=None also. For this how can override or any workaround is there?
Note: For the items having same Old due dates and
Please suggest me ASAP.

Ones in Pink - Your plan is ATP enabled plan. So if there is a new sales order entered in OM module there is a sales order entry made in the ATP table the moment its scheduled in source. But since ASCP has nt been run yet they are still showing actiona s none in the plan.
W r t one with action release your understanding of ship date updation through ascp release is correct.
Why does customer want to chnage date on other sales orders (action-none) ? . ASCP has planned and it is saying that such is the date of expected shipment and so action is none. Any business reason why a date change and release is required on action none sales orders? By default behaviour action None cant be released to source .

Thank you for posting this. My power has also been back on since Wednesday night but no Comcast service since before the storm. I rely on Internet service for outside communication as I have very little signal connectivity on my phone in and around my home. Every time I am able to go out, I check the comcast app on my phone, but I get the same message every time. The estimated time of service return message has said "10 pm tonight" since Thursday morning. I've seen repair vehicles around town so I know they're working on it, but real updates pushed through the app and the account page would be nice.

Set Start Position to Calculate Travel Time in Calendars

Hi All,
I am quite impressed with the new traveling time feature in Calendars, however I cannot seem to get the best out of it.
Is there a way to reset the start position for the calculations, I am thinking about the following senario;
Three appointments in the same day Appointment one calculates OK but appointment two calculates the start from the office and not the location of appointment one. Same thing happens with appointment three.
What I want to do is set the first appointment, calculate travelling time, set the second and calculate the traveling time from appointment one and then the same with appointment three.
The only way I have found to do this is to jump back and forward between calendar and maps and manually calculate like I used to do before this update.

To set your starting location, Calendar first looks for your location in any events that are up to three hours before this event. If Calendar doesn’t find a location, it uses your work address during work hours and your home address during other hours. (Your work hours are set in Calendar preferences using the “Day starts at” and “Day ends at” menus.) If your card in Contacts doesn’t have your addresses, Calendar uses your computer’s current location.

ASCP is showing onhand quantity as negative in workbench

Hi All,
ASCP is showing oh hand quantity for an item as negative in ASCP workbench, when we checked for the same item in source instance, it shows as 71 available.
ASCP shows two rows for onhand, one as positive 52 and one as negative -16
Could anybody help us to get the probable cause for the same.

Check how is the result of availability check to be represented in schedule line.
In SPRO-SD-BF-ACand TORACAC with ATP LogicDefine default settings
Here configure the availability check rule in such a way that if the goods cant be delivered on the Requested Delivery date, then it shoudl propose the date on w hich teh goods can be delivered. Then your problem will be solved.
The options you can select are C or E.

Dragging and dropping Cal invitations.

Hi,
I used to be able to drag and drop Cals into an e-mail (and it'd appear as a clear .ics card attachment). Now if I drag and drop a Cal event into the body, it looks like:
Title of Event
Scheduled: Oct 22, 2014, 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM
Location: X Address
The person receiving this e-mail would need to click on the time/downward arrow to add to the Cal. I'm afraid maybe some people who don't use Yosemite won't know the invitation is attached? Or am I getting this wrong?

I don't know why but this code doesnt work for me too.
I am able to drag out only one mc and have a duplicate being
positioned at the same position. But i am not able to drag the
duplicate out from the same position.
Here's what i want actually:
1) when a movieclip starts to be dragged, create a duplicate
of it located at its start position
2) the duplicate can be dragged as well and when it is being
dragged, there will be another duplicate of it at its start
position.
3 ) 2 version of the dragged movieclip; (a) should be above
the other movieclips & (b) are not above of the other
movieclips

5911 self cal reports a problem w/ the temp stab circuit. not due to pc -12V

I have three 5911 scope cards in a test pc and one generates a temperature stabilization circuit error when self cal is ran and times out when operated through NI-MAX test panel. I have swapped card positions and the problems follows the card. Is the card repairable?

My Calendar has a bug!
Attention when fast-checking your appointments!!
See pictures below.
Events shown on top of week are birthdays and holidays. Consider the orange holiday, for Nov 2nd.
When I move from week 44 (shown above) to week 43 (on the left), birthdays/holidays change 1 day position!
Moving from week 44 to week 45 (on the right), see the holiday position.
When I release mouse button, events come back to correct position!

Using administrator responsibility, first create 2 instance partitions.
Then using the instances screen, create the 2 instances. Make sure you have setup the db links prior to that.
Then assign appropriate orgs to the 2 instances.
After that, the remaining setups (such as DC, defining plans etc.) should be repeated for instances.

Dans une application, j'ai customizé des bouttons en y ajoutant des images, cependant mon probleme vient maintenant des text booleen qui se décale tous le temps hors du boutton. J'ai essayé d'utiliser la fonction "Lock boolean text in center" mais cela crée une superposition entre le texte et l'image et donc ce n'est pas franchement lisible. J'ai cherché un moyen de bloqué le texte à une position par rapport au boutton mais je n'y arrive pas...
Si quelqu'un aurait une idée de comment faire, je le remercie.
