ASDM validating running Configuration

I have upgrade IOS on ASA 5510 asa721-k8.bin to asa847-k8.bin and ASDM to asdm-741.bin. on my pc I use the last version of java 8. via ASDM I can log in, but when I click on configure it show message.
please wait while asdm loading current running configure from your device, but it cannot load complete %100 only %87 for long time. do anyone have the solution for this point?

Looks like you are hitting a bug here.
Downgrading the ASDM to 7.3.3 is a workaround.

I was trying to run configuration wizard in SharePoint 2013 Central Administration and I got below error:

Yesterday my SharePoint server was running fine and today when I try to update a SharePoint solution (wsp) I got same error. Even if I try to do any operation
in Central administration like adding new WSP, Updating WSP , I get same error.
Does any one have any Idea?

Bootcamp Windows 7 Wireless Network Connection: No Valid IP Configuration

I just bought a new 13" MBP and have installed Windows 7 Ultimate via Bootcamp 5.0. I installed the Windows Support Software that I had previously downloaded via Bootcamp Assistant on Mac OS. Although the Wireless Network Connection asked for my network key and connects to the network, I cannot access the internet. The troubleshooter find this problem: "Wireless Network Connection" doesn't have valid IP configuration. I am using my old Dell computer and it is connecting to the wireless properly and my MBP can connect on Mac OS, so I don't think it's a router issue. Here are the things I have tried so far to resolve this issue, but none have worked:
Uninstalling the Broadcom Network Adapter driver, restarting the computer, and reinstalling
Repairing the Windows Support Software with the Bootcamp 5.0.5033 Support Software Update downloaded from www.apple.com

But I could temporarily solve it by setting an IP, gateway, dns etc manually. But that will only work in my current wifi-network.

Errors in few of the step while running configuration wizard for PI 7.0

hi all,
i have installed Netweaver 2004s (PI 7.0) quality. during installation i had chosen sld option to be my development system as i wanted to use just single SLD.
now for the post installation steps i had run Configuration wizard. i haven't yet implemented Note : 939592 : PI Usage configuration versus Central SLD as it says first i need to perform all CTC steps.
now in this i got error in few steps:
STEP1 : PI_00_This wizard will execute Postinstall steps of technical configuration for the PI Usage
the error was: CIM_ERR_FAILED: Object manager is not activated
PI_05_This wizard will configure the integration server for sld.
The error was:
Error: CIM_ERR_FAILED: User credentials are invalid or user is denied access
PI_09_This wizard will configure Role of Integration server
Not able to load function SXMB_SET_ROLE_TO_IS( Connect to SAP gateway failed).
What should i do?

Hi Priyanshu,
"Object manager is not activated" simply means, that the SLD server is not started. So, please, first of all navigate to the SLD URL http://<host>:<httpport>/sld, login with an administrative SLD user -> Admininstration and push the star button.

Solaris 10 hangs on Running configuration assistant.

Hi all,
Yesterday I patched solaris using updatemanager (solaris 10 3/05 for x86 on a fujitsu scenic pc)
when i was finished i rebooted, goes down fine but when starting up it hangs att Running configuration manager/assistant and i can't get further.
I have tried to remove all hardware except the bootdisk and graphic-card from the machine, also tried to disable everything in bios that is not needed to boot ie serialports and so on but it stops at the exact same place, the same second as config manager starts the machine freezes.
Since i have had this installation for a while and have patched it before i draw the conclusion that it's something wrong in the latest patches..
Anybody else had similar problems???

Password showing in running configuration on 3750's and 3560's

Hi All,
Forigve the stupid question here but I was just backing up the running configuration on the switches at work before we have a big powerdown at the weekend and I noticed that the passwords to access the switches are showing in readable text in the running configuration. Under line vty 0.4 and line vt 5.15 there is an entry for the password.
I have never seen this before in cisco switch running configurations so I was just wondering if it was normal? I'm new to the company so before I go rock the boat I thought I would ask if it is just a normal occurance as I've never seen it before on other 29 series switches that I have worked with.
If it isn't normal should I just remove it from the configuration files and then write mem to write a new config file minus the passwords? Just seems a bit risky to have passwords showing in plain sight especially if somebody ever saw the configuration file?
Any advice on the above would be greatly appreciated?

Thanks when I try entering the command service password-encryption I get invalid marker detected at the third character in the word service is their a condensed form of this command so that I can turn this service on please?
I am trying to enable the service password-encryption from the elevated access mode on the switch or do I need to be in just the normal mode? I thought that in order to make any configuration changes and be able to write those changes to memory you had to be in the elevated access mode?

I've just seen this message for the first time and it's showing on 10 devices.
What I really love about Apple Configurator is the copious amount of context driven help offered to you.

Retrieve running configuration from RV082 without username or password?

I have just started a job at a critical infrastructure plant in which the previous person in my position has several things set up with almost zero documentation. Since this plant is infrastructure-critical, I need to be careful in what I muck around with. Right now, the plant has no internet access (it is not necessary for the functioning of the plant) because the gentleman I replaced had set up an RV082 and was using it to VPN tunnel into the network. He is now on disciplinary leave, probably never to return, and we want to be sure he cannot access the plant. I don't know if we need to have access to the plant while off-site, but just in case we do, is there any way to get the running configuration off of this device while not knowing the username and/or password? I would really like to not wipe it out, but I suppose I can if there is no other way.

Run configuration problem

JDeveloper does not run the active file by default. In my default run configuration, I have "Attempt to run active file before default" option checked. Here are the steps to reproduce the issue.
1) create a new workspace "test-app"
2) create a new project "test-project"
3) create a new java file FileOne.java
package com.test;
public class FileThree
public static void main(String[] args)
System.out.println("FileThree");
4) create another java file FileTwo.java
package com.test;
public class FileTwo
public static void main(String[] args)
System.out.println("FileTwo");
5) Open FileOne.java in the editor, right click and run.
6) Open FileTwo.java in the editor and invoke F11. This still runs FileOne.java
I have another scenario where this process was throwing NoClassFoundError and displays "Could not find main class. Program will exit" in a dialog box. I am unable to come up with steps to duplicate this issue though.

In user environments where the path to java is not already established as an system-level environment variable, the service is unable to determine where to find java and this error will occur.
This could occur, for example, in environments where there is more than one JDK installed, or where the default JDK is different from the JDK which needs to be used by WLS.
Try to set the environment variable in windows i.e JAVA_HOME=C:\Sun\Java\jdk1.7.xx.x. to point to jdk 1.7 and run the configuration wizard.

ER: expand Java Options field in run configurations dialog

Hello -
Any chance the Java Options field (in the "Launch Settings" panel of the "Edit Run Configurations" dialog) could become a multiple-line text box?
I add several options to this field for my projects and it is inconvenient to check the values when there are enough to scroll off the edge of the field.

The classes/shared libraries need only to be available to the server - they do not need to be available to ALDSP Studio, since the database is access via the server. Double check that the required classes/shared libraries for your jdbc driver are available to your server ]
I searched our CR database for the stacktrace/error that you have and found serveral CR. Most of them indicate the problem was jar file(s) for the jdbc driver were not present in the client classpath. So - whatever you added to the server classpath (and PATH - if there were also shared object libraries) - we need to add those to the ALDSP Studio (eclipse) classpath (PATH).
you can put the jar(s) in
aldsp_3.0\eclipse-plugins\dsp\eclipse\plugins\com.bea.dsp.ide.external_3.0.0
and modifying
aldsp_3.0\eclipse-plugins\dsp\eclipse\plugins\com.bea.dsp.ide.external_3.0.0\META-INF/manifest.mf.
There are two places in manifest.mf you will need to add the jar file - once under Bundle-Classpath and once under Export-Package.

"ethernet doesn't have a valid ip configuration"

I use an apple time capsule as a wifi router. It is wired to two other airport express routers to extend the range.
Everything has been working fine for months, but I shut down my PC (Windows 8.1) on Friday and started it up on Monday. On Friday I could connect to the internet in the normal way. On Monday it's not working.
I have told Windows to forget the network, then I connected to it again with the correct password. I get an error message "Ethernet doesn't have a valid IP configuration". I have also tried connecting using an ethernet cable but get the same result. I have checked my IPV4 and IPV6 settings to make sure that the IP address is obtained automatically, which they were and are.
There are many other devices currently connected to the wireless network and they are working fine (another windows PC, ipad, iphone). It is just this one PC that cannot connect.
To be clear, the PC was not turned on between Friday and Monday. This issue has just happened. It's possible that another device joined the network over the weekend so could the time capsule be "full" somehow?
I have tried turning the time capsule off and on, and also the internet router. And reset my PC's network adapter, and restarted twice already. Without any luck.
Would appreciate some help!

OK, have just "solved" this somehow. Having forgotten the network I was then entering the wrong wifi password. When I put the correct one in, I can connect to the network and use the internet.
The weird thing is that I never got an error message before telling me it was the wrong password. It appeared to be connecting. Also the ethernet connection should have worked surely, as that doesn't need any code.

The $OH and the $SID is correct. I can do a "/ as sysdba" without any problem.
I found the log at /cfgtoollogs. Except a "ORA-01034 error - Oracle not available" it does not give me any clues.
There is an issue with this install however: If i set the $OH without a trailing /, I get an error saying "Connected to an idle instance" when connecting "/ as sysdba". If I add the trailing / it works nicely. Could this be a part of the problem? From what I've seen earlier its the opposite that have been a problem.
Where does emca get the ORACLE_HOME and ORACLE_SID information? There are no changes in how emca responds whether I use a trailing / or not.
Any idea?
