ASHA 200 doesn't allow to update software
First it says feature supported for sim1 only
then when selecting download it says Unable to download when abroad

FOTA updates can be only downloaded via SIM1 on dual-SIM phones. That's a known limitation.

Nokia Asha 200 doesn't update

My nokia asha 200 doesnt update anymore, everytime i try to update the phone software it tells me that no network coverage even when there is network, what should i do?

Why Asha 200 doesn't support WhatsApp?

Whatsapp is supported on x2 01 and x2 00 but asha 200 can not support whatsapp why?

Asha 200 is not officially supported WhatsApp. Actually most of the older Dual-SIM phone models were not supported. So while it might be possible to install WhatsApp on Asha 200 using the direct download link from the thread Abi99 pointed out, If you end up doing that, don't be surprised to see more or less bugs.

Shutdown directive bundle doesn't allow windows updates

I have a directive bundle to shutdown a machine. The bundle works fine in terms of shutting down the machine at the appointed time, however, what it does not seem to do, at least on Windows 7, is to apply any updates.
If you have pending updates to apply, choosing, Start/Shutdown will shutdown the computer and apply updates. This doesn't work with the ZCM 10 directive bundle to shutdown.
Any ideas why?

I looked on our Domain Controller where we have our Group Policy. I looked at the local policy and it says "not configured" all the way down the line. Is that what you are looking for?

Ipod doesn't work after updating software!!!!!!!

I've just updated my ipod nano's software and it stopped working. The itunes works alright, it updates the songs and everything but the ipod itself has no image whatsoever! How can I solve this?

Hallo. I have a nokia asha 200 and i made firmware update from v11.56 to v11.95,and now the romanian language seems to missing. The update was made by Nokia Suite v3.8.30. Is there any possibility to recover my romanian language? Thanks.

Asha 200 Software Update Problem

I use an Asha 200 cellphone with software version being v10.58. At some times, I tried updating the software to the latest version using the Device Update Command in my phone, but got a message that "Update not allowed; contact service provider". At other times, I get a message "No new software available". What should I do?

Software updates vary by region/product code/network locked or unlocked status. It may be possible that the update has not yet been approved from the operator.

I have a asha 200 handset. Its internal memory is very very little. If i go to update my mobile software. Then it asks for 5 mb free internal memory which the mobile doesn't have because the mobile memory is blocked by some absurd application like shajam, size converter, nokia music, etc. But I myself dont block any internal memory. So the latest software can be downloaded but unable to install. Please give me suggestion and tell me the way to update software of my asha 200.

Do you have media files saved in the phone memory? As the device supports memory card, if you have it inserted in your device you can transfer the files from the phone memory to the memory card.
Did you download applications from the Nokia Store? As it also affects the memory, you may want to uninstall them and just reinstall them after the update and make sure to select the memory card as the installation preference.

You can try updating the software of the phone using the in-device software updater. You can go to Settings > Device > Device Updates > Download Device Software.

RM - 761
MA3 nokia.
and ever since then whenever i try the O.T.A. update it says "no new software found". please help me on this

You dont get it fam. The software version was on 11.something before. I mean i could ruduce and increase the brighness of the phone's screen. But ever since i repaired it, the version was reduced and i've been limited to a lot of stuffs, like most applications that require sending a text dont work anymore. This is sad .
