Asha 200 - No language after update

I've buyed my father an Asha 200 dual sim but after the latest 11.95 update from Nokia Suite, the Romanian language has dissapeared. What do I do?

Hi people,
I have a Nokia Asha 201 and just updated that to version 11.56, after the update was "finished" it said "phone is restarting", I left it like that for about 30 minutes (which I think is to long) after that I got a Windows message telling me that the "Hardware ID is missing" and I noticed that the Asha 201 kept blinking it's LED.
I disconnected the phone, removed the battery and tried to turn it on, nothing. LED are flashing, and they keep flashing. Meaning something went wrong with the update and due to that I am unbale to re-connect the phone again.
I also have a Nokia Asha 200 (dual sim), same update, but this one worked just fine, after 15 minutes everything works as it should be (here aso Windows gave the message "Hardware Is Missing" though.
Anyone got some tips, trick or ideas to assist me with this?

Missing my arabic language after updating my sowft...

I have a mobile nokia E71 had an arabic kepords and writing the arabic language after i updated the software the arabic language not found
i gone to nokia care to download the arabic language they told me we will download it but cost 400 pound it toooooooooooooo much mony i cant pay this and my phone have already the arabic language before updating
so what can i do???

Why has my device changed language after updating?
After an update, your Nokia device may restart in its native language. To change the language go to Settings > Phone > General > Phone language.
If your Nokia device was originally manufactured for use in another country or region, using Nokia Software Updater may revert the set of available device languages to the original language set.
If your preferred language is no longer available after using Nokia Software Updater, you may need to return your Nokia device to a Nokia Care point to have this language reinstated.

My google changed default language after updating safari

I recently updated the safari software on my macbook. As I live in New Zealand I use google.co.nz however after updating safari, the default country has changed to the Netherlands (I'm guessing as it's hard to tell as everything is written in another language). Any time that I go on a google related page or service such as blogger, or using the google toolbar in safari it automatically uses the Netherlands version now, which is really annoying as I have no idea what it is saying, and I really need to go back to using english. Is there any way that I can change this? I tried looking up help on the google help page but it doesn't display those pages in english either which isn't very helpful.

I setup my Mac in English and I only have the languages English and German selected in System Preferences - Language & Text - Language (I am on OS X Mountain Lion).
Within Safari 6.0 the reset dialog sligthly changed and mine looks now like:
Safari's help states that:
Remove all website data:
Removes cookies, tracking information, and other data that websites stored on your computer.
So that's why I did not select 'Remove all website data' (although I would love to).
But nevertheless all that did not help and my Google search within Safari still defaults to 'French' :-(

Language packs can only be installed by Nokia Care Points. Contact you local Nokia Care Point to have it installed. Please note that you will probably lose the language pack will revert back to the original again the next time you update your firmware.

5310 - language after updating

So, I updated my firmware - on my first one I had polish language. Now, after updating (polish language of nokia software updater and website) I cant set polish - there are only german, english, french~ or so. I have polish product code. How can I change my language to polish? My ver. 9.42.

Wrong language after update!!!

You don't understand, after I updated itunes the language was changed to either dutch or finnish (not english, as is listed between dutch and finnish during the setup in the installation). This does not effect the itunes store, just the language of the header bar where file and edit are supposed to be, so changing the little flag on the bottom of the itunes store doesn't do squat. also, after much translation, I have tried to reset the language to english using the dutch file language. This also didn't work. Apple, something is wrong with the update. This might not be coincidence with the Netherlands trying to shut down itunes. Please look into it!! we have paid for these songs and I would like to continue the use of my expensive media equipment. Anyone else reading this with similar problems BACK ME UP

In: edit > preferences
At the bottom there is an option to change the language of iTunes.
I have a Swedish version of my iTunes, but I discovered that it would be better if I had the English language enabled. It's easier to explain and help.

Language after update

Hello, I bought a Nokia N95 by internet, and I turned it into French language that I understand better than English.
The problem is that after updatind the phone's software French language is not available anymore, it's not in the list.
How can I do to have my French language back ? Or maybe just to have the original software back ?
Please answer fast I feel very bad with my phone in English !!!

Thanks for your answer. I called an official Nokia shop in Paris, they said it's because my phone probably has a serial code not corresponding to French language.
But French language was built in when I received it !
The shop said they can fix it, but not under warranty (that means I have to pay for that !!!), and anyway I can't bring it to them because I live in Ireland.
I will try to see a Nokia shop here but I doubt they can do anything to setup a phone into a foreign language.
But I need my phone in French or I can't have for example the accents when I text, it's really important.
Is there anyway I can do that myself ? For example is it possible to download and re-install the original software ? I don't need the latest update, French language is more important for me !

Asha 501 Security Code After Update

Hi Nokia,
I bought a Nokia Asha 501 on 23rd December, and yesterday only started for the first time use.
But unfortunately after the software update,
it's completely locked everything and i can't do anything with it,
even the default nokia code 12345 and my lock screen code won't do anything good.
I can't unlock it so what should I do?
Note that the phone itself doesn't contain ANY data yet as it's just started at the very beginning settings.

Nokia 6300 Disapperance of languages after update ...

Yesterday, I updated my nokia 6300 from version 05.00 to 05.50 but all the languages disapeared after except English, Melayu and two far eastern languages. I need to use French and Arabic on my phone. So, please can anyone tell me how to correct this or to revert to the previous version.

The same problem diffrent country.i update from ver5.50 to 6.01 and i lost the greek language but the updater wrote that this update is compatible with my phone.good luck cause nokia is sleeping.no one from nokia giving answers,they let us discussing the problems and giving solutions by our own!!!!GREAT STRATEGY OR TRAGEDY?

Hi Everyone , Sorry for disturbing' you but I'm really need help !
First, I had a problem with a message that appears when I tries to use camera " File not supported " , so I Setup Ovi Pc suite and Update my Mobile Software which was v4.20 to v7.20 , and it seems to work good , but when I'm trying to write a message in Arabic , There's No Arabic ! And You know I need it cause I'm in Middle East Area , and it's usually used here ! .. Waiting for helping ..

It seems that your phone was not intended to be sold in your region.. The retailer added the language afterwards for his own gains... You may contact the retailer again and explain the issue.. and if you are lucky, you may get the language pack added (..may be free of cost.. if you insist..) .. If not then the ONLY solution that remains is to get it installed at Nokia Care.. may be by paying a little fee..
Be warned that you will be in the same situation again if you go for any firmware update in the future...
BTW.. there are n no. of threads on similar subject already on this forum. Always SEARCH for your problem first.. before you start a fresh thread...

Lost Chinese Language After Update

G'day,
I recently bought a 7230 while living in China and downloaded and installed the Ovi program for my PC. On running Ovi, with my phone connected via USB, I saw that there was an update available for the phone so I went through the update process. I have now lost all of the Chinese language options.
It is a major annoyance as I get a lot of texts in Chinese and, although I can't type in Chinese, I need to be able to send text from my phone to people who may not be able to read English. I have read that it isn't possible to install a language onto the phone, which seems silly, to say the least, but is it at least possible to install an updated ROM for this region?

The phone you bought is most likely a 'grey-import' intended for a market elsewhere than China, and the person who unofficially imported it added the Chinese language pack to make it look legitimate without caring that you would lose that language in any update.
As Farby states, the only legimate way to have it added back is to ask a Nokia service point. For future reference, it is best to check these things when buying phones because this kind of thing becomes more and more common - the big problem is that if you phone genuinely isn't one intended for sale in your country, then the Nokia warranty won't be valid.

Lost my language after update

I have two computers. They both had Acrobat 10.1.7 greek installed. The first computer was showing the menu in the Acrobat correctly in greek but the other in english. I had asked this forum with someone else that had this problem in spanish and no solution was found. Now, I updated Acrobat to version 10.1.10 and the language in the first computer turned to english there too. In Acrobat's International settings the greek language is set but everything including the menu is in english. For God's sake, can anyone help me solve my problem?

I managed to get it ^.^ Here's what I did:

Then I unpacked the Japanese edition:

tar xvjf firefox-9.0.1.tar.bz2
I couldn't open Firefox using the terminal, so I went to the folder and opened it from there. The Firefox icon no longer appears, and I can't figure out how to change the shortcut in my menu lol But it's definitely the Japanese version, and all of my bookmarks, plugins and preferences were saved, so everything else will come eventually ^.^

Miss language after update

I have a 5800.I had Farsi ,Ordo and English Language on it then I update it via OVI from 50 to 51 . Everything works good but Farsi Language disappeared and I do not have either Arabic language.I can not write Farsi but i can read Farsi SMS.
Instead i have these languages : Nederland , English , Francais , Deutsch , Italiano and Turkce
