Asha 200 time&date problem

Hello! I've recently had a problem with my Asha 200. The issue is that I was not using my phone for some 4 months, then when I installed my SIM card and turned it on it required that I set up time and date (which I did). However later I noticed that the time I entered does not change on the main screen, as well as the date. I tried different options - reloaded the phone, installed other SIMs, even made "hard reset", but the problem remains - the phone just does not display the correct time and date. In case I choose auto-update of time it just showes nothing on the home screen: -/--/--- insted of date and empty space instead of clock. The browser does not work as well - when I try to open it it suggests mу to set up time and date, which I do, however when trying to establish connection with some web-site it simply writes the following message: "error: can't load this page at the moment. Check the date and time are correct on your phone".
My firmware is v. 11.95, RM-761

I use an Asha 200 cellphone with software version being v10.58. At some times, I tried updating the software to the latest version using the Device Update Command in my phone, but got a message that "Update not allowed; contact service provider". At other times, I get a message "No new software available". What should I do?

Although a Nokia 108 looks similar to your Nokia Series 40 device, the Nokia 108 has a complete different operating system and chipset, created by MediaTek. IPad int'l time & date problems

I was at the Apple Store today asking questions about the iPad and it's ability to handle international times and dates.
On my MPB and MBAir I have time on the computer, iCal, etc set for the 24 hour clock. As well as the calendar set as, day | date | month | year; Thursday, 06 January 2011. I use this format for everything that goes into the computer no matter which language.
However, when I was working with the iPad there doesn't seem to be a way to set time and date the same way. I could use the system preferences to change the time zones and go to the 24 hour clock. But, there is no way to change the date to the order I need.
Besides not being able to set things the way I need there is now a bigger question that no one in the Apple Store could answer.
1. Since everything on both my laptops is set for the time and date a specific way. What happens when that information is pushed on to the iPad? Does it stay the same or does the iPad rearrange things? From what I saw in the Apple Store the iPad we used didn't even understand the settings coming from the laptops and showed up blank or totally missing.
2. If you make entries in the iPad especially using iCal what happens to those entries when they then go back to the main laptop?
Maybe I'm not being clear, but even the employees at the Apple Store didn't have a clue and told me that maybe the iPad wasn't able to handle my needs.
My main concern is if the MBP & MBAir are set one way and the iPad is set another ... what happens with all that information syncing back and forth a 100 times a day. Or will it all become so jumbled that it makes both unusable?

Because I travel internationally everything in my MBP and MBAir whether it's documents, iCal or even the Address book is written in 24 hour time and with the date: day of the week|date|month|year. Things that go back years and things that go forward up to a year. iCal alone has thousands of entries per month.
I want to upgrade to both the iPad and iPhone4 to lessen my travel load.
However, no one not even at the Genius bar can tell me what is going to happen if and when I attempt to sync new devices.
Both my MBP & MBAir are set for 24 hour time, UK or Australian keyboards and or language. This helps keep things common to the rest of the world as most of the world outside the US is different with times and dates.
I will be lost if some how when I sync an iPad or iPhone4 my entire life gets jumbled. To say nothing of the confusion. If I'm unable to enter a date as: Wednesday, 12 January 2011 and add 14:00 will it appear the same way with the iPhone and iPad? It's one thing for that to turn into: Wednesday, January 12, 2011 @ 14:00 or 2:00 PM. It's quite another if it turns out thinking instead of 12/1/2011 I get 1/12/2011.
When you add in that I use French, German or Japanese .... what am I going to get back?
For all of Apple's need to be world wide .... they really aren't.
Wish I could get answers before I plunge and end up losing everything.

Time/date keep changing

In the past few days, my Iphone has been changing from current date/time (January 30 at various times) back to January 1st or 3rd and not the correct time. Is anyone else having this happen?

We have 4 iPhones in the house and they're all experiencing this problem at random. I spoke with an AT&T CSR and she had me do the usual trouble shooting steps but nothing helped. She transferred me to a "Network Technician" who checked the network and said there was "definitely" no problem on AT&T's end and that I needed to call Apple. He may be right since not all of the iPhones in the house experience the problem at the same time. Sometimes, like today, only 1 of the 4 is experiencing the time date problem. We've seen the problem on 3.1.2 and 3.1.3. The phone experiencing it began showing the right time & date before I could call Apple.

Nokia Asha 200 - How to Display Calling Party Phon...

I have bought Nokia Asha 200, the major problem I am facing is that when someone is calling me, his Contact Name shows on Screen, but from which phone number he is calling not shown. Almost all of my contacts have multiple phone numbers, but in this case I am fed up, unable to find the phone number of calling party.
My Nokia X6-00 and 6680 shows both Name and Phone Number of Calling Party but this phone has no such facility and I consider, this as biggest shortcoming in this phone.
Can someone help me to find some solution to my problem?

On S40 devices it shows only the Contact Name... You can only make out whether the call is made from Home (Land line) or from Mobile by looking at the Icon at the Left hand side of the Name that appears, provided the Contacts are saved correctly. You may check the No. from which you received the call by going to the LOG..But that is after the call is completed.

Nokia Asha 200 bricked!

Welp,bought my asha 200 a couple hours ago,plugged it in.Nokia Suite says theres an update,i try to update but it fails on Win7.Changed it to compatiability mode for WinXP SP2,it got into the backing up stage,went to grab a drink,when i came back it says it failed,telling me to replug the USB.I do,and now it keeps tossing me this error.

I tried uninstalling Nokia Suite,PC Suite and nokia connectivity driver.

The only way the computer can detect my phone now is when i press the power button,and even then only for a couple seconds.

I am using nokia asha 200.It is very slow and it takes long time in opening folder.And my nokia music store is also not opening.

If there is a lot of content in a folder, it is normal for the phone to take some time in opening that. Try making multiple sub-folders to properly allocate your data.
Do you have some phone memory free? When you run out of phone memory or its very less free memory left, the device starts running slow as because it uses come of the phone memory to as physical memory.
What error do you experience when opening Nokia Music? Does it suddenly close? If so, your phone needs a Firmware Re-Install. You can give Nokia Suite a chance to do that or better visit a Nokia Care Center.
Your phone doesn't need a Anti-Virus that's why there is no such product available. Asha series phones run on S40 OS and it cannot be infected by viruses. Viruses can't bring any harm to its file system

hello, 1 week ago i bought nokia asha 200 and problem is that when i get SMS its shows *some text missing* sms is not full and after several time its comes in complete view. is it operator problem or mobile softwere problem?? i had nokia c6 before this one and never had this problem... can someone help me?

Nokia Asha 200 echo problem

Hi!
I bought the brand new Asha 200 Nokia (Graphite) and so far im happy with the phone. Nontheless, during calls there is a really anoying echo. I have gone back to the store and replaced the first phone only to find that the problem remains the same.
Whats is the position of Nokia about this? I would like to keep the phone but this echo during calls is unacceptable.
Should request my cash back or should I go to a Nokia Care point?

I have also recently bought "nokia asha 200" but from the very first day of my use, I am also experiencing the same echo problem. All those echoing sounds is irritating me so much...
You can't even use your cell phone for the basic purpose of making call.
Almost all asha handset has this problem,, they are not going to cash back your money,, just be careful the next time you are going to buy nokia products.
I don't think Nokia has any words to say for such defective products and the malfunction of its newly launched asha handset which clearly indicates its manufacturing standards and thereby cheating consumers . I have never expected such a fraud from such a branded company.
I am sure, from now onwards, nokia will loose its middle age segment profit for making such frauds/defective model.

Problem with Nokia Asha 200 apps

Hello guys,
I am using Nokia Asha 200 and i am quite satisfy with this phone. The only drawback that i can find is that i cannot ue it social prebuild apps, like Social and i cannot use the e-mail app as well.
When i open them and accept the license, i am waiting for the software to connect to internet and update it self's, but this never happen. I tried to wait for the apps to finish with there updates but after 10 minutes of inactivity it become clear that it will never happened.
In comparison when i am using the Nokia Web Browser i don't have any problems with opening web pages. The difference between the browser and the apps is that when i browse i see on the top left part of the screen the "E" symbol which indicates that the phone is connected to Edge network, but when i use Social, E-mail or even other apps i had downloaded from Ovi store i am not able to use them. For instance most apps i had download indicate me network connectivity problems. The only app i can use with my 3G internet is Nokia browser.
My software version is:10.58.

You have two options to resolve the issue:
Update the phone's software.
Ask for the configuration settings from your network provider.

Printing Problems with Elements 8.0 and EXIF time data

I've been using Premiere Elements 8.0 in Windows XP Professional for a couple of years with no problems. I shoot mostly in JPEG. I've always imported my images using a card reader (the same one). About a year ago suddenly I ran into printing issues. When I imported my images and tried to print them Elements crashed just at the point where it should begin the actual printing. By chance I discovered that if I adjusted the time EXIF on the images in Elements by either hours or days, back or forward and adjusted them back to the original time/date the problem disappeared. If I had shot in RAW and edited these images there were no problems with the resultant JPEG.
I noted the discussions about Elements changing the time in the EXIF and checked for this but this hadn't happened. The EXIF in camera and in Elements were the same. I also checked this against the time settigs of the camera and they were the same. I shoot with a Nikon D300.
I backed up my images and did a complete re-format of my computer so that it was back to its ex-factory settings, re-installed Elements, restored my catalog from the backup and the problem still arose. I'm reluctant to upgrade to Elements 10 until I (hopefully) I find out if (a) anyone else has the same problem; and (b) if anyone who had it has fixed it.
Any ideas would be very welcome.

I am confused. Do you mean Photoshop Elements? Premiere Elements does not have a Print function. On can Export/Share, but not Print. For Photoshop Elements, you will want the PSE Forum.

Problem with Real Time Data Acquisition

I tried to built a RDA data flow according to the SAP-Help and this blog (/people/kamaljeet.kharbanda/blog/2006/11/13/real-time-data-acquisition-bi2004s), but I ran into a problem. Everything seems to be fine, but even though the daemon is running no new data is added to the DSO. I'll explain in detail what steps I took and hope someone can pinpoint my error(s).
System is BW4 on SPS 17. My datasource as well as my DSObject are in the same system
1.) Created a transparent table with a timestamp-field for generic delta as a local object.
2.) Created a generic datasource from view/table (used the above table), marked it as realtime-enabled and used timestamp as delta-specific field.
3.) Replicated the metadata for my datasource and activated it.
4.) Created a Data Storage Object with infoobjects corresponding to the table fields
5.) Created a transformation between DataSource and DSO
6.) Created a DTP from Data Source to DSO. The type is realtime-DTP.
7.) Created an InfoPackage for Delta-Initial Load. Update mode: Initialize Delta Process -> Initialization with Data Transfer.
8.) Then I changed my DTP (step 6) to "normal DTP" and executed it. Then activated the data in the DSO. The datasets from the table (which i filled with an ABAP-program) were successfully loaded and activated. So now my DSO contains 5 datasets.
9.) Changed the DTP back to "realtime DTP"
10.) Created an InfoPackage for RDA. Adapter is set to "Realtime extraction from SAP System"
11.) Created a daemon, assigned the IP for RDA and the DTP to the daemon and started it up.
12.) Executed my ABAP program to added 3 datasets to the table which is used as a datasource.
So now in my source table there are 8 datasets, but the daemon won't load them. In my RDA-Monitor (trx rsrda) it shows my daemon, the assigned IP and the assigned DTP (status green). Under the IP there's one yellow request (that should be right according to the help), but unlike the picture in the blog (link see above) there's no request under the DTP.
Job overview (sm37) shows an active batch job and some jobs that are ready (every 10minutes a new batch starts and the old one is closed). the job log shows, that the daemon runs, but loads no data...
i think it might be a problem with the delta extraction somewhere, because the intial load works fine and there are no errors anywhere.
Edit: perhaps my settings in the data source unter tab: extraction are wrong?
Delta process: AIE After Images By Extractor (can't change that)
Direct Access: Allowd
real Time: Real-Time DA Supported
Adapter: realtime data extraction (also tried Access to SAP Data through Service API which seems senseless)
Data Format: Fixed Lenght
Anyone can explain what those fileds mean and which one i should use?

Hi again, another thing i'd like to try is to just active a business content datasource which is realtime-enabled and has the ability to dynamically add some values so that i can test if it works. but i have no idea what business content would be applicable here, any ideas on that perhaps?
