Asha 308 and MS Exchange client

Hello all,
Nokia user since birth (or almost), I desperately searched for a dual-sim product... All I could find was the Asha series. So, foolishly, I bought the Asha 308 and now I realised that there is no MS Exchange client and therefore I can't make it syncronize my Outlook's calender and contacts. I'm sooooooooooo mad at myself because of buying a telephone that doesn't serve me in my everyday life.....
I have searched in Nokia store, but I think that it just doesn't exist for Asha 308. There is nothing that I can do??

Unfortunately, in this case there's nothing you can do since Mail for Exchange is only compatible with Nokia Asha 303 and 302.

What website are you trying to access? Is it YouTube or other similar website? Note that Asha 308 doesn't support Flash Player. This is the reason why you're unable to watch online videos. In this case, you can try accessing other websites that don't require Flash Player.

Star map apps Nokia Asha 308 - "response unknown"

I'm trying to download a star map app for the Nokia Asha 308 and have a couple of questions...
1. I've tried downloading Norbsoft, but when I click the 'buy' link on the page on my phone, it brings up an error "Response unknown" with no other info or options.
2. I'm having trouble finding other apps compatible with this phone, and am pretty new to the whole app thing - does anyone have any suggestions of star apps for Asha 308?

Well, although I don't really understand what you just said, it would appear that it doesn't run it, just comes up with 'response unknown' perhaps the S40-S60 issue is the problem?
As I mentioned, I'm completely new to apps - to smart phones too, I'm a bit of a techno tard and just looking for some advice on a star map app that I can use with this phone.

i have Dsl router that connect to Tmg server
i have Tmg with two NIC
1-192.168.0.4
2- 2 Public Ip address
i want to do this
i want to split user's traffic and my exchange traffic
i mean i want to route user's traffic with one public ip addresss
and my exchange server's traffic with another public address
but when i add additional ip address at Tmg or create new NIC card
all of my traffic route with one public ip Address what should i do?

You need to use ENAT fuction on TMG to achive this
On the External NIC assing the Second IP as Additionl IP address (VIP)
Create a network Rule to NAT traffice From Exchange server IP address to the required Public IP which you need the E NAT.
Ensure you are creating rule only from Exchange server IP and not all INternal.

I HAD two accounts because of this problem. I completely removed the problem account from the Apple Mail client. Guess what is happening?? That's right - Mail is still sending from the other account that no longer exists on my computer, and I have absolutely no idea how this is happening. This is incredibly frustrating. When a recipient chooses to reply to my message, quite often I won't get it now because it is going to the other account that has now been deleted from my system. COME ON APPLE!!! WHAT'S THE DEAL WITH THIS???

Nokia Asha 308 Gallery problem

Nokia asha 308, everytime I tap on the gallery app it says "Unable to preform operation" any suggestions?

Welcome to the forum!
Did something happen to the device before the issue started? Does it also happen on other application or just with the Gallery app? You can try to restart the phone and remove the battery of the device. If you have an SD card, you can also try to remove it from the phone and then check if the Gallery app will work.
Let us know the outcome.

Converter app in Nokia Asha 308

Just checked my phone and realised that there is no converter app (Length, Temperature etc) that used to be on other old S40 models. So should we download it seperately? Any link?

Hello, Ahemdabad. Just to verify, you're unable to update the Converter app. Is that right? Is there any error message when trying to update it? Are you also using a Nokia Asha 308? If not, tell us the exact phone model you're using. BTW, make sure that you have an active and stable internet connection for you to update the app. Try accessing any website using the phone's browser to verify the stability of the connection.

New Outlook 2013 Installation - How to configure for default pop email and access exchange 2003 server for shared folders only

I have successfully installed and configured outlook 2013 to access my pop.integra.net email accounts. We have an 2003 exchange server we use for shared folders which I am having difficulty accessing.
My preference would be to set up my access to the exchange server and use the same data folders for email as are in use for my pop email account. In outlook 2003 this was simple, but in 2007 on up it seems this feature has been hobbled. Is there
a workaround to get both accounts to use the same database?
Next issue is if I use the Mail client wizard under Control Panel to set up access to the exchange server - everything looks fine but when launching outlook I receive the following 2 error messages:
"The resource that you are trying to use is located on an unsupported version of Microsoft Exchange. Contact your e-mail administrator for assistance."
"Cannot start Microsoft Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook window. The set of folders cannot be opened. Your Microsoft Exchange administrator has blocked the version of Outlook that your are using. Contact your administrator for assistance."
Obviously the optimal solution is to upgrade the Exchange Server - assuming that is not an option - are there any workarounds?
Any assistance would be appreciated.

Downgraded to Office 2007.
So now have a new Windows 8.1 laptop with outlook 2007 installed.
From what I have been told this should allow me to connect to the Exchange2003 server
I set up the pop account - works fine
set up the exchange account through Mail.exe and am unable to launch outlook.
"Microsoft Exchange is Unavailable"
"Retry - Work Offline - Cancel"
Then
"Cannot start Microsoft Office Outlook. Cannot open the Outlook Window. The set of folders cannot be opened. The information store could not be opened."
The data file path is the same for both the pop account and the exchange account:
C:\Users\Scott\app data\local\microsoft\outlook\outlook.pst
How do I get this to work?

The update is currently temporarily available on via FOTA (and not via Nokia Suite). There was a small problem with automatic user data restore with Nokia Suite after the update, which is currently being investigating. If you already updated your device with Nokia Suite, you might have to trigger the userdata restore manually from "tools->restore".

Blackberry Exchange Client

I am a blackberry user and have been for several years. My Bold is a tool that I couldn't live without.
I have recently changed organisations and have been issued an iPhone for business purposes. When I asked if I could use my Blackberry they were more than happy to for this to occur but couldn't support email/calendars/contacts etc as they will not implement a BES because the devices they distribute have a built in Exchange client.
I am completely aware of how powerful the BES is and the high level of security it brings to an organisation.
My question is though, would RIM/Blackberry ever consider incorporating an Exchange Client at device level so to help those who don't have a BES. This would obviously run differently to the BES and users would need to be aware that much of the BES features wouldn't exist.
Your response in a timely manner is greatly appreciated.

The problem with that is that Nokia already has the updates but the country service provider may still be pendin the updates approval. So Nokia waits until the service providers accept the updates then they wil be made available for you. The latest version as to my knowledge is V 8.13

Hi, we recently migrated from Groupwise to Exchange. Our post offices are (and servers) are completely shut down. And on all of the client PCs, the Groupwise client has been removed. Now we're finding users who saved messages to their local drives (or network shares) and want to read them. Any way to do this or are we out of luck?

Undo the whole turning off servers and removing the client and you are all set.

Asha 308/309 App Availability

I'm seeing a lot of apps in sample videos that aren't available from the Ovi store for these devices. For example Shazam, Angry Birds, Opera Mini and something that views Youtube videos.
It would be really great to have those available; Are Nokia Asha 308/309 so different that they cannot run these apps? Most apps look like fairly old-school Java stuff of a generation or two ago. Will this situation improve in the coming months?

OSX Server for Directory Services and an Exchange Server

I am about to purchase an Xserve. I only want to use this for authentication purposes (OpenLDAP, Kerberos, whatever).
We are getting rid of Windows Small Business server, but want to keep using Exchange for our email (we will build a new server with Exchange, I am not going to try to keep Small Business).
My network is half OSX clients, half Windows XP clients.
My question is this:
Is it possible to have all of my users in my Xserve and have Exchange get username/password information from an OSX server (our Xserver will be our primary controller)?
