we cant copy and paste texts and cant chance brightness level. I have update 5.92. pls make a new update.

that change log was for the Asha 305 5.92 SW update. The changes in the Asha 311's 5.92 SW update were not the same, despite the same version number.
in summary: manual display brightness control option is now available in Asha 305, but not in Asha 311.
text copy+paste function is not available on either of these products.

After updating numbers and pages I can no longer copy multiple cells from numbers and paste and match style to pages. I used to be able to select multipule cells in a row (such as company name, address, etc.) then paste and match style on to a pages letter. I found the paste and match style option in the edit menu, however it will only work one cell at a time. Before the update is was working great.

For diagnosing purpose thy the procedure in a new user account and see if it works there. You create a new user account in the System Preferences > Accounts. If it works in the new account it is probably a corrupt plist file that needs to be deleted.

Using firefox 37.0.1 windows 7. open a tab (right click) it's blank. copy and paste and go the url from the tab into a new private window and it works.

Opening a tab (right click on a url) and I get an empty/blank window.
If I copy the url from the emty/blank tab and then open a new private browsing window and do a paste and go, everything works.

I need help, i can not copy and paste or drag and drop anything on my macbook pro, Please advise a solution.

I am having the same issue, however when I try to do this- Finder is "flashing". I am able to select Finder to force quit but the second I move my cursor to press force quit, Finder begins flashing again and deselects.

How to Cut and Paste (and delete)

So I doubled down last month and got a new Bold and a Playbook. This despite poor reviews and RiM's bad press.
The reason is that I wanted my Playbook to replace my notebook when at home and traveling. Well, I blew out my knee playing sports and have been working from home post-surgery. Playbook is great for couch while knee cup and iced.
My very big frustration - and it really affects my work capability - is the Playbook's capability at cutting and pasting. I need to be able to cut and paste links and text and edresses from emails and internet and msword to each other. Is this possible outside word to go? How? Relatedly, I need to be able to delete and edit the text of forwarded emails, so I can remove ill-advised intermediate commentary.
For a tablet whose competitive advantage MUST be ease of business use, these are big issues. If these capabilities aren't there on the Playbook, I would implore RIM to address and other forum users to lobby for same. RIM has to get these kinds of issues right to survive.

Looks to me like the decision was made to disable copy and paste in bridged apps maybe for security reasons. Seems to be a bit erratic too as some discussions include people that claim to be able to do it, maybe it's OS version dependant. Would have been nice if we could have been given the option though!
To me it's issues like this that make the Playbook seem more like a beta level rushed to market device than a fully developed business tool. And now RIM can't even get the functions that would make what is great hardware truly useful within a reasonable timescale!

I can't cut and paste and the mac doesn't see me as the admin

Okay so here are my current frustrations and issues:
1. I can't cut and paste anything! Not from emails, not in documents, nothing.
2. I went to make changes in the utilities and when I started, under my name, it said admin and now it says standard and the computer won't allow me to make changes. I try to enter my name and password and the computer says I am not the admin.
3. I can't delete the "test" user and "guest" user because apparantly there is no admin.
I have rebooted using the install disk and I was able to change the passwords but I still can't get in as the admin.
Is there a way to override this before I a) pull out all of my hair, my husbands hair and the hair belonging to my cat and/or b) before I throw the machine out the window and then have another frustration that the unit is not working?!

First back up all your data, if you haven't done so already.
Boot in safe mode (shift key down at startup) and check to see whether the clipboard now works. If it does, reboot as usual (not in safe mode) and try again.
Next, boot in single-user mode by restarting the computer and holding down the Command and S keys at the chime, until you see white text on a black background. Wait for the text to stop scrolling, then follow the instructions on the screen, which will tell you run the fsck and mount commands. Be very, very careful to type the commands correctly. After you enter the mount command, please enter this:
rm /var/db/.AppleSetupDone
Then this:
exit
The Mac will now boot up as if for the first time. Go through the setup procedure to create a new admin account with the same name and password as the old one.

I develop a tool that uses an Swing based, applet UI that is compiled using JDK1.1.8 and is distributed to our customers. To enable cut and paste we have the customer choose to trust the applet and in JRE and Plug-In level 1.3.1 everything worked fine. We are now getting several differet problems, including cut and paste not working and URLs that nolonger resolve properly, when customers try to use 1.3.1_01 or higher.

cut and paste in JTextComponents requires signed Applets... (no problems with console Java applications)
a alternate solution is to use the old TextArea instead of a JTextArea

Inside the browser, right click on the mouse seems to be disabled. How can I enable the right click button? It works fine on toolbars and tab bar but not inside tabs or windows. I would like to be able to copy and paste and such. Thank you

Right mouse button does not open any menu when clicked inside of tabs or windows. Works properly on the toolbars, in the address line, search bar...etc. but has no action on the page I'm browsing. I purchased a mouse recently and like the old one, the right button works in all other areas of my operating system. I would like to know if there is a setting in firefox that I can change to correct this.

There are also websites that can disable the right-click context menu.

When you convert a file to PDF using the Acrobat.com online service, they are automatically stored in your Acrobat.com account at https://cloud.acrobat.com/files.
To download a file to your computer, select the file in the Files list, and then click Download at the top top of the list. Your files will be downloaded to the Downloads folder on your computer.

Mozilla sends me a password, asks me to confirm. I copy and paste and Mozilla says the passwords don't match. Other problems remain unresolved.

I have found too many obstacles, *many times*, trying to log in, plus the upper bar of the Firefox screen is so dark that the black lettering can be read only with difficulty. Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.
"Clear the Cache":
*Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"
"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
*Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
You can try to remove currently saved password(s) form that site.<br />
You can also check if there are entries with an empty name.
*Tools > Options > Security: Passwords: "Saved Passwords" > "Show Passwords"
