If my mobile's wifi/data is not active say "1 day", during this time if there are any new messages pending to receive.
when I try to activate wifi/data the next day it doesn't show the new messages notifications for WhatsApp/Facebook/Line/WeChat. Though there are one ore more new messages from my friends..
I need to restart my phone, then it shows all the read/unread messages i.e for which I didn't get notifications as a new notification again.
I guess this problem is with the phone notifications. I wish NOKIA to fix this issue at the earliest.

yeah But the issue with only Wechat,Fb,LINE apps but Whatsapp works perfect though the data is turned on after 10 days,it shows the notifications within less than a minute with out actually opening the app

I'm not sure why, but suddenly my Facebook notifications stopped working on my phone. Whenever my friends write on my wall or anything, I don't get a notification for it. Whoever, whenever I receive an inbox message on FB, then I receive the notification for it.
I tried doing a battery pull, I logged off then on, I checked for updates. But it still doesn't receive any notifications.

i have the iphone 4s and facebook is not working on notification center and it does not have sound at all. why is that?

There are bunch of people with the same problem on that forum. Advise to wait until new IOS comes out on 19.
When there are so many people with same problem, usually points to server problems, possibly updating or getting ready for IOS 6

You aren't the only one. I now have NO sound at all in FB with YouTube or even just uploaded videos. Surely we won't have to wait for an date!

I have not been getting any push email notifications, the device does not seem to be receiving any mail unless I fetch it manually or wait for the 15 min fetch schedual. Also, I am not getting any of the integrated twitter notifications. Any possible fix?

TS1702 When I update to IOS6 on my 4S Facebook does not work properly, the news feed never updates it only says no new storeys and shows a picture of an antenna. When I reset my phone and go back to IOS5 Facebook works fine. What's up with IOS6 ????

When I update my iPhone 4S to iOS six Facebook does not work properly the newsfeed doesn't load properly and I can never see what's going on all I see is a picture of an antenna and a little thing underneath it says no new stories when I reset my phone back to iOS 5 then it works just fine and I don't have any issues so there must be something wrong with iOS six that isn't letting Facebook load properly

No I did not use any unauthorized methods for anything, I simply reset my phone back to factory.

I had the same problem and after a lot of research here and on Verizon I finally discovered that it was an app named Onavo Extend that was preventing my voicemail from working. Other people have had success resetting their phone or network settings, disabling and reenabling SIRI, or deleting the Neilsen app (which I didn't have) but those options didn't work for me. A lot of mods have claimed that this is not an Apple problem but if it is caused by an app that Apple allows to be sold in their app store, then it is an Apple problem, not a carrier problem. Of course, sometimes its just an ID 10 T problem.

Did you always have the same problem or is it new? I always used to be able to get Facebook to work on wifi with no issues for months. I downloaded the new software update for Revolution, and all of a sudden it seems like they blocked the Facebook app somehow unless you're on 4G. It really sux because I can't get into my Zynga games either that are tied to FB! Wish someone at Verizon could be aware of this and fix the problem.
Also, interestingly, when I try to log into the Facebook site with the browser I am directed to an error page. The browser works fine for every other site though. Really seems like there was some kind of block instated that will no longer let you use Facebook on a wifi connection.

The 'fix' that is decribed in the first post does not work. The only workaround is if you are on Wi-Fi, turn off Cellular Data and then reset the push service by turning on Airplane mode for a few seconds and then turn it back off. Seems to be an issue with the iOS talking to the new LTE CDMA chip on Verizon and Sprint iPhone 5s.
