Asia Phone in USA

In Asia I bought 2600 Classic, marked model 2600c-2, RM-340 inside. Supposed to be dual band and compatible with USA. Worked fine with Thailand and Hong Kong Sim cards, but won't find network when I plug in a ATT USA GSM sim card.
Is there a system setting I need to change? Help is much appreciated!

GSM in states uses different frequeny bands, you should have a tri-band GSM Nokia model.

I buied I phone from USA and I sent to Iraq to use it there but when used it I get this message :
The SIM card that you currently have installed in this iPhone is from a carrier that is not supported under the activation policy that is currently assigned by the activation server. This is not a hardware issue with the iPhone. Please insert another SIM card from a supported carrier or request that this iPhone be unlocked by your carrier
so I need support to resolve this problem and procedure and how I can iPhone be unlocked.

Sorry... but... ONLY the US Carrier it is Locked to can unlock it.
You need to Contact them.

I plan to take my 6500 slide to the USA for a short holiday.

Warranty and support is only valid in the country of origin. The only exception being the EU where a device bought in any EU country can get warranty or service in any EU country.
Warranty is determined by device (serial number), no documentation required.
Apple does not repair devices, they replace them. For that reason, ensure the device is backed up and any pictures take with the device are copied off the device prior to going in for service.

Sure, the charger that came with your phone is a world charger, works everywhere. All you need is a plug adaptor.
You don't have to worry about the voltage.

If you bought the new phone from an authorized dealer you should be able to turn it on and see the setup assistant that guides you through the process of setup and activation. What happens when you turn the phone on?
Or did you buy a used phone from someone? What exactly do you see on the phone when you turn it on? What messages are displayed?

I believe that when you reset your ipod(command given from the computer, right?) touch WHILE the ipod was updating, It cleared the system in the middle of writing files, thus corrupting(equivalent of cutting of in the middle of a sentence) the basic running system.
I suggest you go to an apple store and ask for a technical diagonosis in person. they may offer to help if the problem is fixable. If your ipod is still under warrenty, i would guess it would be free/low cost.

What USA Cell Phone Carrier has the N-Series Phone...

Please, I need the help of those who know MUCH more about Carrier availability than either myself, Google or even Bing has been able to come up with.
I have been doing some heavy research into phones and I quite like what I have read and seen of the Nokia phones, most especially the N and E series phones. They are quite impressive.
I know the E71 is available on AT&T and there are a variety of Nokia bar and flip phones available on a variety of American Cell Phone Carriers BUT... what what I am really interested in is what carrier could I use a good N Series smartphone on? I have been looking at the E71 on AT&T (which is my current network) and if nothing else, I could be easily persuaded to purchase that phone. However, it is the N-Series phones that really caught my attention as they have the solid build, camera / video options, web-browsing features and functionality that really speak to me.
I am most interested in what carrier's in the USA would be or are carrying the N97, the N86 & N85 and possibly the N96 phones?

You can use any phone from Nokia with ATT and other carrier that use the GSM network, but you have to look for the phones that made for the USA networks Nokia have a different version of their phones for USA and global use but you still can use the global one here in USA but with some limited function like the 3G services that different from USA. And if your looking for carrier that provide N or E series here in USA I don’t think there is any other than ATT and it only carry some of them not all, the N96 and N97 I don’t think you can find any of them here with plan price you have to by them from amazon they have cheaper than NokiaUSA.

Using 6030 in USA

I have 6030 phone. I went to NY, USA. But, my phone didn't work. Does any one know if this model works in USA? Should I need to do some settings to use the phone in USA? T-Mobil, as service provider in USA sells this model with their sim card.

The 6030 is only a dual-band phone.
Models sold in Europe and Asia would have the 900/1800 frequencies, and those sold in the Americas would have the 850/1900 frequencies.
In order to use a phone supplied in Europe or Asia in the US, you need a tri- or quad-band model.

Help Needed please: Phone won't power up...

Hello all. I am new here and I have a Nokia N96 which I purchased from Asia, so Nokia USA will not service my phone. I was updating firmware last night and everything froze. I patiently waited for around two hours before I disconnected the phone. Now the phone won’t power up. It vibrates a little and the light on the square control pad goes on. That’s about it. Screen and everything else is off. I tried what other people have suggested such as taking off the battery, pressing combination keys, etc. Any more suggestions or solutions for my problem. Thank you in advance for your kind assistance.

What you are thinking of doing will invalidate your warranty and as a result cannot be discussed here.
The only option available to you which won't invalidate your warranty is to send it to a Nokia Care Point which will fix it for you. Unfortunately, it will mean having to send it to Asia.
I know you have started multiple threads on this issue but telling you anymore then we already have will break the forum rules and be deleted by the moderators. You could however try asking the same question at some of the other unofficial boards.
