ASIO audio driver in UDP 1.13

Just wondering if anyone is able to use the ASIO audio driver successfully with the 1.13 drivers?
On my system every time I call up the NVASIO Control Panel from a host application and then click OK, it crashes. (tried this in Cubase SX, FruityLoops, Reason, Reaktor, etc. etc.)
It did the same in 1.12.
Thanks,
Eric

See if this one works...

  • Realtek audio driver or nforce udp 4.27 audio driver better?

hi i'm using msi k7n2 delta L which has realtek ac97 alc650 onboard audio and i wanna know which driver should i use?which driver will be fully compatible and better?
The realtek ac97 alc650 driver version A3.61? or the latest nvidia audio driver from udp 4.27 which says has improved AC ’97 / Soft Audio driver and has added support for Realtek ALC655 codecs, Realtek ALC658 codecs, and 7.1 support for Realtek ALC850 codecs?

Just reading through quick fast, I couldn't help notice the fact that someone mentioned that the ILSR boards uses this soundstorm thing.....Well, hey, I got a ILSR....I'm currently using the 4.24 chipset...Are there different drivers for the soundstorm audio? Or should I download the newest 4.27's? Thanks....Sorry to sidetrack your post gerty....Silly

  • Focusrite USB 2.0 Audio Driver Scarlett 2i2 in Premiere CC2014 not working

    Hi everybody.
I just recently upgraded to CC and cannot use my Audio Interface with it.
    Info:
    i7
    Windows 7 Ultimate
Focusrite Scarlett 2i2, drivers up to date
Premiere Pro CC 2014 up do date
    GeForce GTX Titan
In CS6 i have set the audio hardware to Focusrite USB 2.0 Audio Driver.
    ASIO Settings:
    Buffer length 10
    In Latency is 19,6
    Out latency is 28,9
    Sample Rate 48000
...and it works like a charm.
In CC 2014 however, i can only use Premiere WDM sound.
If i choose the Focusrite, my sequence won't play. I can still scrub but with no audio.
    Also recording does not work.
I often have to punch in layout-voiceovers for timing and need this to work, so any help would be greatly appreciated!
    thank you all!

Premiere Pro is not the best with USB audio.  Sometime it works, often it doesn't.  My recommendation is to skip any type of USB audio and only use real audio connections.
    Thank you for your input.
I am using this setup in CS6 and it works great but could not get it to work with CC. So i can't just settle with "skip any type of USB audio".
    Anyway, i figured it out:
I chose Premiere Pro WDM sound instead of the scarlett and in the ASIO settings chose the Scralett as input. works just how it's supposed to now.

  • Audio driver issue

I have a Thinkpad T530 with Realtek HighDefinition Audio.  Recently I installed a Windows update and foolishly chose to install an optional update for the RealTek device.  Ever since, when I log in, I get this error:
The current Dolby Audio driver version is 7.2.8000.17 and the software application expects driver version 7.2.7000.7.  Please install a valid driver and software application combination.
The audio works but sounds really tinny, which is an issue because I use the Thinkpad for music development.  I checked the installed version, and the installed version IS 7.2.7000.7.  I looked at the Windows Update history to try to back this off but couldn't find the RealTek update.  How do I straighten this out??
I originally posted this in the wrong forum, sorry.

This does not have to do anything with your soundcard or its driver. I've got this error message on professional audio systems, too. I tried M-Audio 2496 and a MOTU firewire device. All audio systems work good, but from time to time I get this asio-driver-error-message from premiere. I have to go into settings an choose asio driver again, then it works for a while until next message.
I saw the same problems on some cs3 installations so I think it must be a problem of software design.
Try to rise your asio buffers this might help a bit. What definitely helps is to choose the Adobe ASIO driver (Premiere Pro WDM Sound), doubleclick it and select your preferred sound-hardware. This could produce a little bit higher latencies but it's working.

  • Select microphone for audio driver?

    Please excuse my bad english.
Microphone is connected to PC. In the Windows' tool "Sound" -> "Recording" there are 2 microphones: first one which is built-in laptop, second one which is connected to audio card inlet.
With audio driver "ASIO4ALL v2" choosen at Edit -> Audio Hardware Setup -> Multitrack View -> Audio Driver recording comes from built-in microphone.
With "Generic Low Latency ASIO Driver" choosen recording comes from connected microphone. This microphone is better, but because of driver the recording sounds badly.
Can I use connected microphone with ASIO4ALL driver?
    Thank you for your attention.
    Audition version - 3.0
    Windows 7.

Your external microphone may be better but may not match the audio card mic input very well. Built in soundcards are really only meant for gaming playback or Skype communication purposes and are not good quality. So your mic might not sound any better even if you could pick it up in ASIO4All. However if you open ASIO4All's set up options you should be able to select the external mic there and use that instead of the internal one.

  • G510 audio driver installation problem on Windows 8.1

I've just received my brand new Lenovo G510 and installed Windows 8.1 Pro 64-bit onto it.
Most of the drivers from the attached CD installed without any problems (though I was quite surprised that no newer versions were available on the Support wrbpage) but I can't install audio driver.
Apparently this series is equipped in either Conexant or Realtek audio chips and the provided setup application is desigend to detect the correct chip and run the appropriate driver installation program.
The problem is that setup is not working for me. All I receive is the notification "This utility can not be used on this machine". Since there are no "orphan" audio devices in the Device Manager, I can't really tell which audio chipset is installed in my machine. I don't want to install both dirvers as it may just cause confilcts.
How can I say which audio chipset is installed and install the correct driver?
    Solved!
    Go to Solution.

    hi mikolajek,
    Welcome to Lenovo Community Forums!
    Under Device manager
You should look for your Audio
Normally it stays under Sound and gaming controller,
And if no driver is installed in shows as High Definition Audio
Right click on it and select Properties
         Go to the Details TAB
change the Value to Hardware ID then check the details
    ex. PCI\VEN_14E4&DEV_4727&SUBSYS_051014E4&REV_01
Get the 4 digit after VEN and DEV
Ven is the Vendor and Devi is the Device
Go to PCI database and do a search for the VEN
Then search for the DEV and youll know that device
    Regards
    Solid Cruver

  • Dolby Audio driver cannot start after upgrading to Windows 8.1

    Hello.
Windows 8 was the worst thing that happened to Windows, but since I bought this G505s laptop with Win8 pre-installed, i had no other choice to go to. Few days after the purchase, Windows 8.1 arrived and I updated 8 to 8.1 hoping to see some improvements. But to my sadness, 8.1 has ruined my expectations, and Lenovo didn't even care to address the user issues in 8.1
    Here are my Issues :
OneKey Recovery : Updated to 8.xx.xx.xxxx
The OneKey Recovery app tells that 'Current system cannot create a backup'
I can't have a secure laptop without it creating the Recovery !!
Lenovo, please address this issue and fix the OneKey Recovery Problem !!
Dolby audio app : Doesn't open, and if once it starts, cannot configure the Equalizer !

    hi sotim01,
    Thanks for posting!
    1. Uninstall all components,
Open Device Manager and Uninstall your Conexant audio under Sound and ganing controllers (make sure to place a check under delete driver software for this device)
    2. Open Control Panel Uninstall a program and highlight the dolby component and an Uninstall button will appear.
    3. Open your C: drive and Delete any folder that says drivers if non then continue with the next step
    4. Download this Driver for installation
            Conexant Audio Driver
    Install it and continue
    5. Open Drive C: now and you should have the Drivers folder back.
Open that, Open Connexant Open Dolby Gui,  then you should have Dolbyaa for Advanced audio.
Restart your PC and there you go!
    Let me know your findings
    Cheers!

I upgraded today to 8.1 and now when I start my computer I get a message box telling me <re-install Dolby advanced audio driver>. I found the Dolby program in my control panel, programs and features, and there is no un-installer or, seemingly a way to re-install the driver. I want fix this problem / don't want this box popping up at every boot, what do I do? Thank You.

  • How can I install audio driver from BootCamp into Windows 7?

After an uneventful installation of Window 7 (64) onto iMac  cor 2duo OS X 10.6.7.
    NO SOUND.
I have tried to replace the Audio Driver HD through Device Manager: it is not working
      a) if I disable the Windows Driver and try to install the Cirrus driver from the BootCamp disc, I am informed that "device already has the optimal driver"
      b) if I unistall the WIndows driver, Sound Video Game Controller disappears from Device Manager-so there is no place through which I can install a new driver.
    c) If I start from the BootCamp/Driver folder and select Cirrus and Install, I am again getting the answer that the "device already has the optimal driver"
I am frustrated! Please, can you advise how to proceed?

You do NOT want to disable unless you are not going to use a device.
You want to rollback or uninstall and get Cirrus driver.
Try Boot Camp (Setup) repair-reinstall - to enable the device.

  • How can I just use a generic Realtek audio driver without "Beats Audio" interfering!?

Beats audio is terrible! I just want to have a flat EQ with no stupid sound effects enabled. The only way I've been able to do this so far, is to uninstall the audio driver, and just use the generic windows one instead. But what I would like to do is use a generic Realtek audio driver, and completely remove Beats Audio from my computer.
After uninstalling the audio driver that comes with my laptop, I tried getting a standard Realtek driver from their website. But when I install that, Beats Audio reappears! This is so frustrating! How can I uninstall Beats Audio? I want it gone forever! I can see from searching these forums that this is a common problem. But none of the solutions have shown how to just use a standard Realtek driver without this Beats Audio rubbish.
Can anyone tell me how this is possible? I'll stick to the generic windows driver if I have to. But it would be nice if I could just use the Realtek drivers as they were meant to be.
    Thanks

Thanks for the reply. But you've misunderstood the question. I know how to uninstall the sound driver and just use a generic Windows one instead. But what I'm actually looking to do, is install the Realtek audio driver without Beats Audio. Thanks.

  • Error message occurs when I try to install Realtek HD Audio driver on Satellite M70

Microsoft Bus Driver should be loaded in your system before installing Realtek HD Audio Driver
This is the error message that I got when I tried to install the original Realtek drivers! Removed/installed the new WXP media center 2005, everything was fine but the modem and the sound, for the modem no problem but for the sound...(sight) I even downloaded new drivers on the internet and THEY WORKED!
But when I try next time to open my computer I get all the time a blue screen then it shuts down? What is wrong? I got everything original and I followed the step. What should I do?
By the way I got an Satellite M70 - 168 laptop.

    Hi
Someone get this similar error message on his notebook OSs and according to the information the Microsoft patch should helps to sort it out.
Found this useful knowledge base article:
    http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;835221
This document advice to install the KB835221 patch but that is only officially available by talking to Microsoft technical support!
But dont worry buddy. The Google search engine is the key!
Try to search for this KB835221 patch and Im sure you will find the right one!
The required UAA drivers in the Microsoft documents are not included with XP SP2 or SP1, so it's a useful QFE to have around if you want to use newer sound cards like the Realtek HD Audio.
PS: If the Q835221 didn't help then you can also try the updated driver from Microsoft Q888111 article, which has 4 versions depending on your OS and installed service pack.
    Good luck!

  • HP Pavillion dv6500 with windows xp pro AND NO audio Driver!

i have a hp pavilion dv6500 laptop entertainment pc here with me.  It came with windows vista but i downgraded to windowx xp pro.  it runs alot smoother!  Everything works great except one problem?  The audiio drivers that the hp websites has does not work?  I cannot find the right audio drivers?  I have tried even letting windows update search for the drivers with no luck?  Why are the drivers on the website not working?  How can i get this to work?  if i upgrade it to windows 7 can i intergarde the vista drivers to work with the windows 7 program?  i really need help!  Thanks!

The General XP Downgrade Guide for HP notebooks is what you need to read. This well written guide has helped (at least!!) thousands of forum members downgrade their notebook successfully. There is a section that applies to your notebook.
The issue you are having probably is related to not installing the MSUAA driver before the device specific audio driver.
