I need a script that asks for a users email address before
they can download but I cant find one that will do this easily and
simply, does anybody know where I can get one from?

suggestion:
go to hotscripts.com and do a search on email download
There are scripts there that will do this, sending out a
confirmation email
with the download link. Simplifies requiring a valid email
address. Fake
address, they don't get the download link.

I too added 2nd apple ID when I tried to get Free app from apple store just to get to NONE on the credit card needed. It said it sent confirmation email to my new apple ID email that I have to confirm. Problem is I can not get to the new apple ID email account. On my ipad it logs into my original email account and I see no where to log into another email account. If I go to my laptop, the new apple ID I created does not let me log into email where apple said it was sent to. It did not send to back up email account either.
Can I log into 2 email accounts on my ipad where it says mail at bottom?
Can I have 2 apple ids?
If I created a 2nd apple id to get to NONE on credit card needed, can't I log into it also on another laptop in gmail?

If I used my original apple id I created when I got my new ipad, it will not let me get free app without credit card, there is no where it says NONE needed. I am too new to apple to start with credit cards etc until I get use to it.

If you are unable to remember your password, security questions, don’t have access to your rescue address or are unable to reset your password for whatever reason, your only option is to contact Apple ID Support, upon speaking to an operator you should explain that your problem is related to your Apple ID, this way you will not be charged for assistance, even if you don’t have an AppleCare plan.
The operator will take you through some steps you may have already tried, however they need to be sure they have exhausted all usual approaches before trying to reset your account, so you should try to be helpful and show patience with the procedure.
The operator will need to verify they are speaking to the account holder and may ask you some questions that only the account holder could know, and you will need to answer them if the process is to proceed.
Once the operator has verified your identity they will send a message through to your device which contains an alpha numeric code, which you will need to read back to them.
Once this has been completed they will send an email to your iCloud email address after a period of 24 hours, so you should check that mail is enabled in your devices iCloud settings.

FaceTime asking for email address for people to call but it's already set up and won't skip, already on iPhone 4, want it on iPad

So my nan has just got an iPad for Christmas, she already has an iPhone 4 and her FaceTime account is already set up, but she would like it on her iPad as it is obviously bigger than her iPhone. However, FaceTime will not let her proceed when it asks for the email address for people to contact her on. It says that it is already in use??
We already know this but she wants to use the same account rather than create a new one just for her iPad, any help or advice would be muchh appreciated.

I am logged into the same things on both my iPhone and my MacBook Pro, except for mail. I use a gmail IMAP account and everything there already works on both machines. The iCloud account on my iPhone uses one Apple ID and the one on the Mac uses the second Apple ID.

Asking for email that was used to set up the ipad

I bought an ipad of ebay, The seller gave me his Apple Id to open it but still doesn't open, it asking for the ID that was used to set up the ipad.
The seller says that was the only password I used. Please help.

Imac keeps asking for email pasword

for some reason my imac now keeps asking me for my password for my emails (keeps turning them off)i have removed account and then set it back up again but is still doing it i have ticked the box to keep password

See if your Keychain needs any repairs: Utillities>Keychain Access and from the Keychain Access menu select Keychain First Aid, type your admin password where shown and click on 'verify'. Click on 'repair' if necessary.

I recently changed my email address and updated my Apple ID name to the new address. It worked for iTunes and apps, but when I bring up iCloud, my old ID name shows. I can'tr access it to change it since my security questions don't work and when I request an email to change password, it says it sent one but I do not receive anything. Just need to klnow how to change my Applle ID on iCloud if I can't access the old one. I'm afraid if I delete the account and open a new one, I'll lose all of my calendar.

If you have 'Find My iPad' activated on the iPad it will cause this problem. You will have to contact Support for help. Go to https://expresslane.apple.com ; select 'More Products and Services', then 'Apple ID'. In the next page select 'Other Apple ID Topics' then 'Lost or forgotten Apple ID password' and click 'Continue'.

Reset Always Ask for email type

When you click on mailto link in an acrobat form it will initially ask if you want to use desktop or internet email. As well there is an option to stop adobe from always asking this question. Once this is set, how can reset so that is always ask this question so that I can change the answer?

It's OK, I found it. I went into Edit > Preferences and in General clicked "Reset All Warnings". I was then able to select the email application type.

What is SOP for buying Ipad online? I received an email (on that day) and a call (day after) that we were required to email to [email protected] or fax to 1800-1651-0554 credit card statement. Is this valid? This is my first time to buy gadget online.

SoP is used in tangent when advisors speak about Scope of Support. I can't say for sure if this is legit or not because 800 numbers should be... but I am always weary of faxing off credit card info in this day & age.

TS3988 iCloud continues to asks for email to be verified. Clicking resend verification does not appear to send to my mailbox (either inbox or junk mail). Any other suggestions?

I keep getting these emails also and now from Apple when you open them they look official but when I got to the point to enter my bank details I stopped due to a gut feeling that it might be spam. Are these messages span and someone just trying to get your details as they do look real.

Why does office for Mac keep asking for passwords?

Very frustrating!!
Not only can I sync Outlook for Mac with my i-phone contacts, Mail & Calandar, but it also keeps asking for email passwords.
this now means the gmail accounts outlook for Mac is connecting to has kicked me out because too manny sign in's have occured.
Why is something so simple, so complicated!!
And another thig, can't connect to the SONOS app, was working perfectly, then just will not connect now!!
Its a brand new Mac pro, working with Mavericks and making lifr differcult.
Shall we go back to a PC?

Please uninstall MacKeeper, this is considered malware for OS X. Google it and you will find many many negative things about it. MacKeeper has it's own uninstall utility to uninstall itself, please use it. OS X unlike MS Windows does not need third party apps to keep itself in good shape, no antivirus apps, no "cleaning" apps etc. The very best thing you can do for your computer is keeping it up-to-date by using Software Update and using a small amount of common sense. While there is a very small amount of malware out there for OS X using that common sense part will help, for example don't visit torrent sites and download illegal software, do not download anything from a pop-up that says, "You must..."

My phone keeps asking for an apple id and shows random emails on the screen as the user, anyone else? how do i get rid of it?

It shows me 5 or so emails when asking for the id and password. Even if I enter mine, it will not work. Seems like a virus or something. This pops up every 3 minutes or so

There are no viruses.
My work email does this every now and then. I've never found the solution but suspect occasional problems at my work computers. This happens on my Mac.
