hi, I have a Question
the turbo button is turn on and when I press it. the user-defined key from S-bar will pop out?
how to make this turn off and what is the program to be defined if any?

The GE60 doesn't support the Turbo mode (vga oc) of GT60.

When does it put on (blue)?
Why does it put on?
Can i put it on manually, can i put it off manually?

The MSI GE60 Turbo button has only one function: to open a favorite program chosen by you. You will need to have SCM or S-Bar installed to be able to use this.
The MSI GE60 Turbo button light has a different function. If it illuminates, it will indicate that the GTX660M, this is the powerful discrete graphics card, has taken over for an application or game.

Does anyone know how the turbo button works?
When I press it, I got a pop up: user-defined key, where I shall select a software to open. but the light of the button does not activate.
It only turns blue color when I play games (when GT650 is used instead of the Integrated GC).

Turbo button not working :( ge60

Hi everyone. I have a msi ge60 0nc-065xtr. My notebook has a turbo button at the top of the computer. Button doesn't work manuel but it works automatic (usually: games, I opened the computer etc.) Why this button doesn't work manuel? (I press the button but the button doesn't turn on blue light.)
Note: laptop has s-bar programe.

the turbo button on the 3rd generation(Intel Ivy Bridge) GE60 shows the discrete GPU or UMA GPU by different colors only , there is no Turbo function on it...

I'm not a computer guy so lingo and where to find things aren't on the top of my head, so if responding please keep that in mind. I bought this computer from a friend. It has AMD Athlon-X2, vista 32bit. At first the Eco and Turbo button wouldn't work. I downloaded the scm and got the eco button to work. It has a gaming mode in it. Is that the same as if the Turbo button was turned on? Call me OCD but I like everything to work on my laptop. Is there a different app to download to get the turbo button to work or split the functioning of the scm to assign the gaming mode to the turbo button? Thanks for any info. screen shots are more than welcome.

You have to plug AC power cord, then you can activate Turbo mode.

MSI GT70 Turbo Button

Hi Guys!
I new to this forum! My question is i just bought the MSI GT70 yesterday and i tried clicking the turbo button on the touch panel however nothing happened no overclocking nada! i tried dowloading new driver but my pc says it already has the newestinstalled. Is there anyway i can fic this issue?

Im having trouble with the turbo button, when im on windows it works perfectly but when im playing a game it turns off automatically and try to turn on again and nothing if someone could help

GT70 Dragon Freezing, low FPS & Turbo Button

Hello,
the last Weekend, i probe more exhaustively the laptop and update to nvidia lastest Drivers (320.18) (no Beta)
last week i have a same problem ( https://forum-en.msi.com/index.php?topic=169182.0 ) but I do not use the computer much.
i play at f12012 and Dirt3,wrc2, fifa13 (all originals) etc and I have a small freezing during play. and much more pronounced if I have activated the turbo button (led on).
these jumps or freezes are performed whether there is much movement on the screen as if you're standing (always in the game, not on windows)
seeing this problem, i download a FPS test (FRAPS), and I checked 60FPS whit out turbo button (led Off) and and when it slows down, it's like a blink, and the FPS are 60.
if the turbo button is in use (led on) the FPS stars in 60 and at any time can drop to 30FPS.
with turbo button enabled (led on), the problem is accentuated, these declines are almost constant (60-30, 60-30) and makes slow games.
probe also use the extra ventilation button in both cases, and the result is the same.
in the Nvidia Panel Switching the option PhysX to Gforce 680m and looks better, but not well at all.
where is the recomended option to PhysX? (auto, Gforce 680m os Intel HD400?
what is the turbo button función?
is normal to be slower with enabled turbo button? (led ON)
on the other hand, whitout AC charger plug , the laptop is slower, is possible to use all the power without Ac Charger? (I understand that the battery would be exhausted before)

where is the temperature correct of GPU? and the max?
whit extra ventilation on 10Cº/50ºf less in GPU Temperature.
in GPUz GPU Core Clock whitout turbo 750Mhz, and turbo mode On 775Mhz is correct?

I bought msi gt60 i installed win.7 ultimate and than installed s-bar.
when i push turbo button it switch on but it switched itself off after 10-15 second

GX620 Hot/turbo buttons not working

Hi all,
Last week i sent my laptop to MSI in sydney to fix a problem with the LCD screen (under warranty).|
I received it back this evening, but the hot buttons aren't working. None of them - the cd controls, the wireless, bluetooth, turbo/eco - NONE. They don't respond at all to any touch.
I have done an EC reset on the laptop, and uninstalled / reinstalled SCM from the MSI website in an attempt to fix it, with no success, they still don't respond at all. I have also reloaded default bios settings in the bios and that dind't solve anything either.
Does anyone know how to fix this?

I accidently checked the don't ask me again button when closing firefox, how do i uncheck it?

I accidentally checked the box that says don't ask me again when it prompted if i wanted to save and quit. However, i need it to ask me this so how do i un-check the box?

First check the following setting. In the Tools menu select Options. In the Options dialog go to the General panel and make sure the setting "When Firefox Starts" is not set to "Show my windows and tabs from last time", you can set it to either of the other 2 choices.
Now reset the 3 preferences that relate to warning when closing Firefox.
