hi all when i ask siri weather report says cant tell me as doesnt know my location and telling me to go to location settings ect but the location setting is on,also when i ask for neares take away ect its says as im in usa cant answer that question but on the siri set up am english united kingdom???????

Currently, Siri's location based services are only available in the U.S. Additionally, even if you are in the U.S., if you change Siri's language to another country's, including U.K. English, the location based services will not work.

Which works great and I have an app-v package created, trouble is that the language in Office i.e. Word is set to English United States. I need to default to English United Kingdom.
I have tried using Group Policy, and the language (Eng UK) appears in "Language" in word and if selected it uses this for session, but when Word is closed and re-opened to defaults back to English US.
I've also tried setting the language in the config.xml file to EN-GB during the build process, but the process fails straight away.
Anyone know how to permanently set the language to English UK?

The only english language that seems to be supported is EN-US and backed up by this document

I don't have a problem about creating the package in en-us, but need a way of changing it after it is deployed.

You can't buy from the Apple store online in the US because it is country specific and you firstly need a US credit card and then a US address and they won't ship outside of the US so you can't.
No Apple online store will ship outside the coutry.
If you want an iPhone, then you'll have to order via the Russian Apple store online if there is one, or you'll have to wait until it is released in your own country or go and buy one in Europe.

If you intend to keep using iCloud on your iPad, your best course of action would be to update your Apple ID/iCloud information so that you have a known password and it is associated with an active email address. You may find the following articles helpful:

I'm trying to download the latest version of firefox. I get a pop up window that asks me what to open it with. I've tried adobe reader 9, acrobate reader 5, and real player. None work

OK, I'll take you through what happens. When I click download firefox 4 I get a pop up window that asks "what should Firefox do with this file?"
Below I have two choices:
_Open with (choose)
_Save File
So I go to choose and pick an application.
So I choose Acrobate Reader 5.0. Acrobate gives me a popup that says "Acrobat could not open firefox 4.0-4.dmg because it is either not a supported file type or because the fire has been corrupted....
So I try download again (I should point out that I am currently running Firefox 3.6.16) The popup that asks me to choose a file to open firefox 4.0.dmg pops up again.
So I choose Adobe Reader 9. Nothing happens. So I cancel.
So what application should I go to to open Firefox 4.0.dmg

Windows asks me for the gpibtnt.vxd driver but i´ve installed it

I have a toshiba with O.S. windows 95 and I´m trying to connect it to a PCMCIA-GPIB card, but after I have installed the software , in settings/system/ windows says that the gpibtnt.vxd which was to be the driver it is not installed! Could the problem be the previous instalation of other software?

I have a similar problem on cpac.ca. I checked to make sure that the most recent Windows Media Player (1.0.0.8) plugin was installed on the plugin page. I did the same with the Plugin folder. It only seems to fail on the embedded video player. cbc.ca radio streams work fine. I also checked on the test page suggested by the Mozilla help page. It didn't work either. The Safari Browser plays cpac well.
I tried disabling other plug-ins but that didn't work. This is somewhat of a puzzle. Whatever the answer is, I think it will be interesting.
@firefox4.0user I don't know if you have had a previous version of Firefox or not but the old answer was to install a special plug-in. That is covered on the Mozilla support page entitled "Using the Windows Media plugin with Firefox." It is a somewhat challenging task. If you are a first-time FF user and you can get cpac.ca to work after following the instructions then the problem that I am having has to do with how the Firefox Upgrade program worked.

I am trying set my email (my old uni one) as the default email on my iPad. It's a microsoft exchange one. How can I do this it asks me what the server is and I have no idea how to find this out? And even if I do will that work?

An answer to a similar question on this said they (they not specified as to who) needed to enable two things POS or something and I have no idea what that means. Is it even possible to make it my default mail if it's Microsoft exchange?

If you're simply referring to adding a mail account that uses an IMAP server, the short answer is yes, it will work. What did you mean by default email? You can setup multiple mail accounts so you shouldn't have to worry about a default mail account. To setup additional accounts (or delete for that matter), you can go to Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendar>Select the Account (Delete) or Add Account.
What is your mail provider? Often you can contact your IT department, or if it's a common mail server, googling will find the server relatively easily (ie: gmail: 'Google' 'imap server for gmail'). If, by default mail, you mean your Apple ID, yes you can also create an Apple ID that uses an IMAP associated email address. Your Apple ID can pretty much be any email address as long as you have access to it to confirm the account's creation.

I would suggest that you perform a "soft" reset on the AirPort Extreme Base Station (AEBS) that you just got from eBay. This type of reset will temporarily (5 minutes) disable both the base station and wireless security passwords so that you can access it with the AIrPort Utility to make the necessary changes.
