i have tried reinstall skype.

From the top of my head, install Thinkpad Communications Utility
and within it is an option called "Optimize my microphone for". Try
switching it to "Normal use" instead "Only my voice". Also, in Windows
Control Panel there should be an icon for "Realtek HD Sound Effect
Manager". Fire it up and goto "Microphone" and try switching between
the two options. Maybe that'll help too, but am not sure.

Whenever I try to use voice call from YM or skype, they start to get stuck and crash immediately. Hi, this FF site have a discussion on this and what other users are doing. Skype has been a problem before and now it is about the Toolbar they Install without user knowledge from what I have read. There are posts that show how to Uninstall this Skype Toolbar.

When I try and use my Nokia Bluetooth Head Set HS-4W to access voice tags it always resets!

Is there a way to save a PDF in READER9 in it’s current directory without being prompted as to what directory to save it in? When a called PDF in Reader9 is modified (ie by adding/deleting data), then closed, the user is prompted to save the PDF and THEN prompted with SAVE AS and asked in what directory it is to be saved in.
If the same PDF is called and modified in adobe pro, the user is prompted only to save changes.
The 'disclosed' property of the called PDF (PFSL-18. 06.96.pdf) is set to 'true'.

Skype keeps quitting when using Skype call to another computer while using

This does not happen when using to pc's but when I use my Macbook Pro to call back home to my Desktop PC in Taiwan it never fails to disconnect after a few minutes of talk. Anyone else having these problems with Skype quitting when on a VOIP cal from computer to computer. My Skype is the latest verison.

I have the exact same issue here with my MBP & 10.5.x.. About 10.. 15 mins or less into the call my mbp drops the call..
Interestingly enough, my MacPro running 10.4.11 NEVER drops a call to the same people and the same network. I mean .. never drops em.. I have been using Skype for roughly 3 years and haven't had issue until this machine and another MBP I had that was running 10.5 as well.
I agree, It is a pain.
I'll look to the Skype user forums too.

Why doesn't Skype not close when you click the X b...

I'd like to get some input as to why Skype does not close when you click the red X button on the top right corner but rather only gets minimized. It's frustrating and makes no sense at all. The only way to close Skype is to right click the icon in the tray and choose "Quit Skype."
I'd like to understand why this useless feature exists. It renders the minimize button ( - ) useless, which is only two squares away from the X button.
Please don't proceed to list other programs that do this (i.e. some antivirus software) as that was not what I asked. It's standard for programs to close when the X button is clicked, as will happen momentarily when I click the X button on my Chrome browser window when I'm done typing this quation. Thanks

What he was talking about was setting it to ""run as administrator" in the shortcut/executable as you should know that would run the application in a true administrator mode (like Windows XP) vs. the default crippled administrators group in Windows. I personally have not had to do this since I have not run into the issue but for those that have, people claimed it has helped/resolved the issue. In regards to following UI interaction rules, it does as it actually closes the form. Skype doesn't send an additional closure to the resident system tray icon form because it's a memory resident communication program. Some programs give you that option, others don't. Geforce Experience is one of the latest programs I use, that doesn't. Nobody forces anything on you. If you feel your family is "forcing" something on you, you always have the option of "forcing" something on them or suggesting another method you prefer in order to stay in contact with you. In the end that's a family issue, not a Skype one.
If you want to close Skype down in one click you can do so using the provided shortcuts in the following thread. You can also assign those shortcuts hotkeys or assign them to a key on your keypboard/mouse using additional key mapping software to completely close Skype with the press of a single button.

Why does the screen unlock when using voice dialer on iphone 5S?

Here's the scenario I'm referring to: my iphone is in my pocket with the screen locked and headphones plugged in. I toggle the mic switch and use voice control to place a phone call. On every other iphone I have owned, the screen stays locked. On the 5S, the screen unlocks when the call begins, making the end call button or other phone buttons able to be activated accidentally by my leg.
Why did they change this feature on the 5S? The iphone 5 stays locked in the same scenario. Just updated to 7.0.4 and it still hasn't been fixed. Is there a way to fix this issue?

Close all open apps by double-tapping the home button, then swiping up and off the screen with the app window (not the smaller icon).
Reset your device: hold down the home button along with the sleep/wake button until the screen goes black and you see the Apple, then let go. (No data loss)

Skype is crashing on Intel graphics driver. The error message indicates that the issue is with "Switching Graphics" (NVIDIA <-> Intel). There are no driver updates available for Windows 8.1 for your laptop on the Dell site. Popup (hyperlink) closes when using scroll bar

Robohelp (RH8). The popup (hyperlink) closes when I use the scroll bar. However, if I use the mouse wheel to scroll the popup does not close. I am sure this is normal behavior however I would like it the stay open when using the scroll bar. Is there a way to do this?

Hi pajamaham and welcome to the RH community.
To be honest I don't think you can do this with the method you are using. Popups were never designed to work that way. Perhaps a workaround would be to display the popup information in a new window. Not exactly elegant but it would do what you want.
