Asking a column to calculate VAT at 20% from a gross figure

I am doing my self employed accounts and have a gross amount in column D and in column E , I want to calculate the VAT element in Column D with a vat rate of 20%. The formula is D divided by 6 . How do I make this calculation automatic down the entire column?

You type the formula
=ROUND(D1/6,2)
in cell E1
You select the entire column E
menu Insert > Fill > Fill Down

(BasicEDFRT) on this VAT.
But in MM, Basic price is coming from Pricing procedure and (ED+VAT) is coming from TAXINN,
how can i include Frieght before VAT

i try what u suggest but Alt Cal Base Value column is not their intaxinn so i add 362 in cal ty but it result in base value deduct by friegt value and vat is not calculated it comes 0.

Using M/08, open that particular pricing procedure and here scroll down to get to the freight condition type , then against that freight condition type move horizontally, to see 3 checkboxes--
1. Manual
2. required
3. statistical
here the statistical checkbox is to be unchecked
Then create the PO with the taxcode containing the VAT

with Adobe Forms Central, My manager asked whether I could use the forms
part to create a summary tracking sheet for all of our contracts.
Having looked at it I could see how to create a table that in the first
column deleted costs from a starting fund, and in the last keeps a running
total of all monies spent.

The iPad is fine. But the computer you're syncing with needs to be authorised with the Apple ID that was used to buy the material on the iPad. You do this by picking the 'Authorize' item from the menu in iTunes and entering the account name and password.

Possibly a very basic question but I have set up a spread sheet in Numbers and have viewed help videos but I can't get it to give me sums for the columns I highlight. Keeps coming up with the figure zero. I have version 09 2.3(554). Can anyone help

I have viewed the run through videos and used the formula but nothing happens apart from giving a figure of zero or a red arrow. The sum icon in the bottom left hand section of the window does not highlight or show any total as I understand from the video that you can drag whatever total is here onto the relevent position on your spreadsheet. I have Numbers 09 version 2.3 (554). Can anyone advise. Thanks.

To sum a column, use a formula such as this one in Cell A6
Type this in a cell below your data:
=SUM(A2:A4) or whatever range of cells you want to sum. The easy way is to type:
=SUM(
and then drag or shift-click to select the range of cells. Close the formula with a final bracket ")".

To see the sum (and other simple statistics) in the bottom left, select a range of cells. That tells Numbers which cells you are refering to.
The videos are good, but the Numbers'09 User guide, and the Formulas and Functions User Guide are better. Download them from the Help Menu in Numbers.

All media and apps should be in iTunes on the computer. Simply select the content desired to sync to the device and sync it.
FYI, backups have never included media or apps.

Sorry, but Formscentral doesn't support either a timer function or any kind of calculation. You might be able to do this if created your form in PDF. For help with PDF form creation in Acrobat I suggest you repost your question to the Acrobat Forum.

hi,
technically i do not think tht can be done. but even from functional part its incorrect in the sense tht the values on which tax is calculated in purchase may be very different from tht in sales. so we may never get the correct picture.
