Asking a question already asked with no answer

Regardless of what game I am playing, regardless of what website I am using, anything requiring keyboard input (such as arrow keys) seem to "stick" after I have stopped pressing the key. I know it isn't my keyboard, games I have downloaded that don't use Adobe Flash Player do not have this problem. No matter what control scheme I use; arrow keys, WASD, or SZXC, all have the same result. How do I fix this repetition of keys I am not pressing?
OS: Windows 7
Processor: AMD Athlon 64 processor 3200+ 2.0GHz
Browser: Internet Explorer 8
Memory: 1024MBs
Video Card: Nvidia GeForce 7200 LE
Flash: 10.1

Hi, I have no idea if this would be a solution or not, but since the 10.1 has the hardware acceleration feature turned ON by default is seems to be causing various issues. The easiest way to turn it OFF, is go to youtube and when a video comes up, right click on the video. You should then see Display Setting and UNcheck the hardware acceleration.
Also it is recommened to update your graphic and video drivers to the latest versions. You may already have that done.

Webpage not displaying certain characters correctly. Similar question already asked but not quite the same

I am using version 4.0.1 and it was a clean install after I reformatted my hard drive and did all the updates. I have a Dell Dimension 3000 with a 3.0 Ghz CPU with Hyperthreading and 2 GB memory.
On this one particular website I belong to, where a colon is supposed to be, I get this little square box with the letters FF IR in it. I have the default settings for Western (ISO-8859-1) for the Default Character Encoding.
I've asked other members of that website and they have the same settings, but they see the colon and not the FF IR.
I will include a link for the site and I don't think you have to sign up to view it and I did a screen shot for both Mozilla/Firefox 4.0.1 and Internet Explorer 8.0.6001.18702 but in Internet Explorer, where the colon is supposed to be there is just a little square.

I know you can't help with Microsoft programs and that is fine as I only used Internet Explorer for Microsoft Updates and to download Mozilla/Firefox.
Initially the responses from the site owner didn't have any problems on his end, but another person gave me some tips but they didn't work and then we found out that it is indeed supposed to be a colon.
I didn't have this problem with earlier versions, but when I had to reformat and reinstall everything, the only version I could download from Mozilla/Firefox was 4.0.1

I'm not sure what screen shot you are referring to, but if it is in your initial reply, before you typed the thing about''' "I do not seem to have a font to display" ''' But I see the FF IR and then the FF IR with quotation marks on each side.
Then pretty much of the whole page instead of having different characters for each font set, it shows several rows of FF IR.
I did notice the same problem today with a site I belong to that I take surveys for, the whole page was filled with FF IR
If the oxFFoo - oxFFFF block, I actually went to the search function for the page the link you included brings me too and neither of them showed up so I don't know what to do. I did earlier try to do a search for how to add the : font to my Unicode and the first thing that came up was "Basic Latin" Unicode Character 'COLON' (U+003A
Someone from the website I'm having the problem with told me something about UTF-8 encoding and gave me a link to check why Firefox doesn't detect UTF-8 encoding. I checked the fonts and under UTF, it starts with UTF-16 so I guess I have to figure a way to add UTF-8.

I am having trouble purchasing music because the iPad keeps asking me to answer questions I had never been asked and don't have answers to.

You need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include clicking here and picking a method for your country, phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, and filling out and submitting this form.
They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

Also, the "forgotten" password are not going to my email address, nor my husbands.

Alright i asked a question got a so so answer..thanks for trying..but

so settings>safari>advanced>web data = the generic .com address for every website visited..not the sspecific page within , but the generic website grandparent name sort of..what is this data...some of it is in the kkb range..some in the mb range...i cannot see any more of it but i know that they are from ten days ago, some of it from two weeks ago however the history only goees back 7 days and doesnt have some of this stuff....any thoughts...like the data is there..(new user of mac and ipad etc) thanks a lot for the heads up and great job on making the internet history only a week apple...absolutely brilliant.... i have never encountered something so ridiculous in all my years of computing) anyways.... im trying to reconcile the notion that the data is there but not there....anyone know why there is a list of every website visited yet i cannot see the history for them..... all opinions useful but plz..i read blogs and posts a lot so no posting obvious answers like...try touching the book and going to history or any other face value devoid of thought responses...save everyone time and just dont post if you havent anything constructive... thanks for reading

Where do I ask a question about frequent blue screen crashes?

My Windows 7 32bit PC frequently crashes (blue or black screen, approx 3 times per day). Last time it happened I checked the Event Viewer and there were 10 error events, ID 7010, 3058, 3028, 3029, 9002, 7042, 7040, 9000 and 455. I don't know
what any of that means but could this be the cause of the crashes? And can it be rectified?

I forgot the answers to both security questions, appleid won't email answers.

I signed out of the app store on my phone and signed in again. When I tried to make a purchase, it asked security questions but I forgot the answers to them. I went to apple id to try to change them, but it just asks for the answers (which I don't know). People said to just click the "email security answers" but it doesn't give the option to. I asked a question,but I got an email with an answer and it says someone else created the question?

It was a similar question I had asked before,but I asked it again this time differently 'cause I couldn't edit or delete the last one.Am I being hacked or is this some aweful glitch or something? 'cause when I clicked on the name that the email stated created my question,it actually brought me to someone elses' Apple communities profile.

Most likely you just subscribed to that other thread. Click your user name to get to your account information and go to the Manage email notifications area. I'll wager you'll see yourself subscribed to that other thread, and can remove that subscription there if you wish.
